Cabin holiday rentals in Northern Rivers

We really enjoyed our three night stay at the cabin. The outdoor hot spa and hot shower in leafy surroundings were my favourite features. These amenities in particular were in impeccable condition as well. The cabin was a warm and welcome retreat after spending our days exploring some nearby national parks. Although we took it pretty easy and spent plenty of time relaxing at the cabin as well. Saw a couple of nice birds during our stay including a bronze cuckoo and plenty of white headed pigeons. Check in was very well set up.

Wonderful little get away! Peaceful, private and perfect for a romantic holiday. The hot tub and fireplace were absolutely wonderful. Can’t wait to come back

It was such a special experience to stay here!! A super cute little cabin atop a hill surrounded by lush gum trees and nature- oh the serenity! 🌳✨🌄 My parents built this home and I grew up enjoying this property thoroughly, creating many memories with my family, especially my late father, Gerry. It was a surreal but genuinely wonderful experience to return here to enjoy a stay in the cute little cabin Thea and Justin have built here, and relax with a delicious soak in the magnesium hot tub! ✨ Thea and Justin were so very accommodating, hosting me for a delicious dinner and allowing me to walk through their home, as I reminisced the days I called it home myself. What Thea and Justin have done with the place since it became their family home - is heartwarming to see. It's comforting to know the place I grew up watching my father care for and put his sweat and tears into building, is being looked after and appreciated so greatly by Justin and Thea with the same creative passion. 💚

Thanks Benita for an amazing stay. Exactly as described, and we really enjoyed the space and the little details we noticed in the Cabin, like the towel hooks, and the bench running through to the bedroom and the lead light glass capturing the morning sun on the wall. Also, I just love the front doors! The fresh eggs and mandarins were an excellent touch(and we enjoyed the honey ;) ) We also took a wander amongst your variety of birds, goats and cows which was really interesting too….they are a talkative bunch. Thanks again and would definitely stay again in the future.

We had a truly lovely and relaxing stay at this beautiful retreat – the perfect escape from the city. Kerry and Barry have created an idyllic place for guests to unwind and reconnect with nature.The property is teeming with wildlife – we spotted wallabies, water hens, ducks, and even caught a 45cm catfish in the lake! The serenity here is incredible. Amy discovered the lake sits at a crisp 20°C after falling in during a paddle-boarding attempt, but fortunately, the 37°C spa was the perfect way to warm up afterwards.Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We’re already looking forward to returning and can’t recommend this retreat highly enough!Thank you again, Kerry and Barry! A relaxing spot for a getaway, exactly as advertised. The space is light filled and well thought out. The amenities are wonderful, with everything you could need for a short stay. Thank you, Harrison and Erika!

The Cockatoo Cabin was a wonderful location for our short stay. Situated right on the creek, the sound of the falls off the balcony is amazing. We used Dorrigo as a base for a day trip to Coffs Harbour and I may never stay at the coast again! Dangar falls are just up the road, a beautiful spot for sightseeing and a swim, we visited the rainforest centre for a walk and lunch and did some trout fishing in the creek that runs through the town. The cabin had everything we needed and then some extras, was warm and cozy for me and my two teenagers. There is no phone service at the cabin but good service just up the road, great for switching off. Also, as the listing states, there are a few sets of steps to get down to the cabin so only good for able bodied people. It is definitely worth the walk though!

Amazing little cottage! Perfect size for us. We especially enjoyed the little fairy gardens and the warm fire. And the super comfy bed! We were well accommodated and had everything we could think of. Thank you Karen, we'll be back.

Glenda’s place is set in beautiful countryside, it was so peaceful! We were lucky to experience a very foggy morning whilst we were there which was really atmospheric. Beautiful view up to the mountain, we had a prime viewpoint sitting out the back with a wine! The king bed was really comfy and cosy. All in all, a great place to stay.

I was looking for a nice, peaceful time and this is what I got. I was left in peace with the only visitor being the friendly dog which I welcomed. Perfect for what I’m was after and will likely be back

Location was great, 10 min walk to the bustle of Byron but far away enough to be extremely peaceful and quiet at night. Very open and spacious, great outdoor area for entertaining as guests. Very easy to find, check in was simple, ample parking, great heating (if staying in winter), all mod cons.

Wonderful stay. Great location, close to town centre, easy to the lighthouse to catch the sun rise. Had all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We went in winter, but the shed was cosy and warm. A lot of blankets, for outside on the deck and in the room were provided. Gail is lovely & friendly.

We really loved our stay here at the buttercup bungalow. The place was beautifully decorated and everything was super clean. We arrived very late at night after a long drive and Kelly had left the heater and lights on for us, which we were super grateful for as we just wanted to rest after a really big day. Kelly even brought over a box of toys for our 2 year old son which he loved as well. Thank you again for the lovely stay, we are grateful for your hospitality and will definitely come back again when we get the chance :)

thank you for a wonderful stay. the lovely cabin exceeded all expectations and we enjoyed the space a great deal. the kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials, the fireplaces are super cozy and the bedrooms are very well appointed. we particularly enjoyed the antique furnishings 🙏 very tastefully done - thank you!

Joff was an amazing host who went above and beyond for us. Beautiful accomodation with stunning views, the photos really don’t do the landscape justice. Such a peaceful getaway for my partner and I, and a bonus we could bring our puppy dog with us too. Would recommend to anyone!

I had the most peaceful and restful stay at Bob's beautiful property whilst visiting for a friend's wedding. The spot was immaculate and has the most beautiful view, sun rise over the tree tops was just perfect. Thank you so much Bob for hosting me, I would stay here 100 times over.

The cabin was on a beautiful property… walking distance to town but when you’re sitting next to the lotus pond or on the swinging chair with the horses close by; you feel so remote and in nature. It was so peaceful. A slice of paradise in the heart of Mullum. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Louise is super lovely and helpful. We had everything we need for a amazing stay

Such a divine home that we feel so grateful to have experienced. Truly a home away from home, with a bed & couch of your dreams! The cutest decor, curated so thoughtfully in every crack & corner of the home. The perfect winter getaway nestled in the bellingen forest… what a special place! Tip: We recommend getting your bits & pieces in town before heading out there as back & forthing to and fro from town can feel a little tiresome if you’ve travelled a few hours to get there! The essence of off grid - we love it❤️Thankyou so much!

Peters place was spectacular. Inspiring, beautifully crafted and curated home, close to town and everything you could need but felt like its own private paradise. A perfectly stocked kitchen with the highest quality of cookware, stunning open space living, and romantic atmosphere was a dream. The fire pit was beautiful to sit by under the stars, and the washer and dryer came in handy. I never wanted to leave, truly a home away from home and can’t wait to return again sometime soon! The cabin had everything one would need plus more. Very comfortable with a bit of luxury in a superbly lush landscaped garden.
