Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Northside

Wonderful place to stay! It felt private and safe. It was a little challenging to get to, but as with anywhere on the island, without the adventure you don’t get the views! Stacie had exceptional communication, including a guide for nearby beaches/restaurants/grocery stores. Very clean. What stood out most were the “extra” amenities. We made use of the beach chairs, beach towels, a pair of snorkeling fins, etc., even the first aid kit! Would highly recommend!

The property is gorgeous; like in the pictures. Spacious, super clean and very well equipped. Getting there was a little frustrating; the Google maps pin originally provided took us to a different home. That homeowner told us that it had been happening lately: strangers showing up at his door. We contacted Emily and she provided another pin that took us to the house. In general, the roads in St. Thomas are very narrow and not in good condition in many places and to get to the house, there are steep hills, hairpin turns and switchbacks. We had 2 families departing at different times on our last day and in spite of contacting many taxi services, only 1 agreed to come to the house and they wanted to charge $150 for a 10-minute ride to the airport! Emily went out of her way to help us but we ended up all going to the airport at the same time.

10 out of 10, not only was the place amazing, but K was the best host. She checked in with us and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. K was super accommodating as well. The views were absolutely stunning! One of the best sunrises I’ve ever witness, and the cool thing was, you didn’t have to go anywhere to see it, you literally just walked out on the balcony and there it was. Place was extremely clean and well organized, pool in the back is perfect for a relax and chill kind of day. The location is on the north end of the island, you can walk to the local market, we would get groceries there. We went to Sib’s, bar/restaurant close by, one of the oldest restaurants on the island I believe. The food was great! If you want a super private, check out for a couple of days, to rest and relax, this is your place. Do not hesitate, go ahead and book it. Thanks again to K for being the best host and allowing Sami and I to stay at your place. We will be back for sure!

Just wow!!! We’ve been coming to the islands for about 30 years, mostly staying in St. John… but the views from this villa were the best we have ever had! The villa was just extremely practical and homey! The king beds and cold AC helped us to recover from long days of hikes, snorkels, beaches, and shopping! The decor was so nice and we loved the live plants and orchids! We enjoyed the huge tv as we watched the college World Series in the evenings. The breezes through the villa were very relaxing! We will plan to come again! Thanks Michael for being so helpful, attentive, and quick to respond!

Mark was a fantastic host. We felt very welcome from the start, and Mark was extremely responsive throughout the stay. The property is beautiful and very unique - be prepared for birds, frogs, and unique plants! Would highly recommend!

Dionne’s spot was awesome. It was close proximity to any area on the island and easy to find. The view of the harbor was absolutely out of this world and we enjoyed watching storms roll in. The kitchen is well equipped and each room is stocked with towels. Overall, we loved our stay and would happily return to Dionne’s! The symphony of frogs singing each night was the icing on the cake.

The Airbnb and The host Ja were amazing! It was our last day in St Thomas and woke up to banging on the doors and gun shots at 1am-2am i had three children in the home and had to get them away from all the windows. Be aware of your surroundings.

Michael and Jenny were above and beyond the best hosts we have had from AirBnB. From the beautiful location, amazing recommendations, and easy going demeanor you couldn’t ask for more. Everything about the description is accurate and you can expect the view to be even better in person. They also provided a detailed cottage guide that clearly stated guest expectations and provided amazing recommendations for beaches/restaurants/groceries/etc.

Jamila is a gracious host. Her space is clean, spacious and lovely. She is super responsive and accommodating. Jamila allowed us to check in a bit earlier due to flight arrival times which was super helpful as we were traveling with two children. The sounds of the coqui at night to sleep with and the birds in the morning to wake up to were such a delight. And the view my goodness just heavenly! We all love, loved our stay at North Star Escape. My family really enjoyed everything about staying there.

Juelis always displays great hospitality and thoughtfulness. She was especially helpful when I needed to extend my stay due to an issue with the airlines. Always thankful for the qualities she exudes as a host. Thank you! 🙏

Great stay. The location was ideal, and the unit was clean and well maintained. Each room had its own balcony, which added a nice touch. The kitchen was fully equipped, and having a washer and dryer was a major plus, especially with beach towels and chairs provided. Plenty of bathroom towels were available, and there was always hot water. The host was responsive and helpful. One note for future guests: the address in the check-in instructions may not take you directly to the property when using Google Maps. It’s best to confirm the route with the host.

Such a clean place happy that I had an opportunity to stay here again. 10/10, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our stay was very pleasant. The Airbnb matched the photos exactly, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. The only drawback was the nighttime noise from nearby air traffic and street activity, which was somewhat disruptive. Aside from that, everything else met our expectations.

Larik's place was perfect for us. Easy walk to good restaurants and 3 minute drive to Pueblo's grocery store. Clean and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. Can't eat out for every meal, so a well equipped kitchen was important to us. Any questions were immediately answered by Larik. We liked the convenience of being in French town and having a dedicated parking spot was a plus. Six minutes to airport and Lindberg Beach. I would suggest that future guests go to google map and drop a pin on the building immediately to the right of the St. Ann's Chapel. Google map will take you right there. When we return to the beautiful island, hopefully the unit will be available. Thank you Larik for a wonderful week!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain-side condo in St. Thomas! Tucked away in a peaceful, lush setting, the unit offered a private deck with a stunning view of the ocean—a perfect place to enjoy a quiet morning coffee while soaking in the island breeze. Having our own rental car made it incredibly easy to explore, and the location couldn’t have been better. Just a quick 5-minute drive to Magens Bay, 10 minutes to Charlotte Amalie, and about 15 minutes to Red Hook, we were able to reach nearly every beach on the island in 20 minutes or less. It truly felt like the perfect home base for discovering all the beauty St. Thomas has to offer. The condo itself was clean, well-maintained, and felt both safe and secluded. We especially loved the shared pool—most afternoons we had it all to ourselves, which made for a relaxing and luxurious experience. Pay attention people! This is the most beautiful Airbnb I have ever stayed in. This gorgeous space exceeded all my expectations and I am so happy I stumbled upon it. The hosts are absolutely lovely- kind, generous, funny, flexible, I could go on and on. If it’s available- BOOK IT!! NOW!!! DO IT!!

Overall the Resort left us not feeling satisfied. There is a lot of walking up stairs required and limited food options on the site. Anywhere you go you need a cab and the drivers were unreliable and we were subjected to price gouging

Stacey was a fabulous host and our stay was accommodating and clean! She made thoughtful recommendations to us upon our arrival of places to go which were helpful since it was our first time on the island. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. Each room felt spacious and the balcony gave us beautiful sunrises to watch while we drank coffee in the morning. The pool is steps away from the front door which was also such another great convenience. Would highly recommend booking with Stacey!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Located within the gated golf community of Mahogany Run, we felt very safe and secure. The condo was extremely clean and the view and surroundings were just beautiful. The value for what we paid was great. It was just the two of us, but we could have easily shared the place with another couple. The way that the property is laid out provides plenty of privacy. We will absolutely consider staying here again upon our return to St Thomas. Covered parking is definitely a plus! Loved everything about this place! Thanks again to Megan our host who was very responsive and professional!

The views of the morning sunrise and evening sunset from patio were beautiful and a perfect place to start and end day. Living room was very comfortable and a nice place to chill, relax and tell stories of the day without mosquitoes. We all thought (4) the bedroom air conditioners were very loud but needed and appreciated. We had 17 days on St. Thomas and enjoyed the quietness. Had quite the surprise in master bedroom when I had to shower with a full length window beside the tub looking out. I don’t believe anyone could see us that high up the mountain but if someone did I am sorry! Thanks Francis for the chance to explore St. Thomas. Now don’t ask for a review of the island roads! Unplug and Unwind is a beautiful property with amazing views. Rebecca was wonderful to deal with and would highly recommend her property. We saw lots of birds and several green iguanas hanging out in the trees from the balcony. The only restaurant that was close and with in walking distance (if you can walk up hills) was the Old Stone Farmhouse. The food was amazing, very well appointed bar, service good and really neat atmosphere, however it was quite expensive but worth it. Rebecca has great information on where to go for shopping, coffee, food and beaches. Highly recommend this property if you are not wanting to stay at a hotel or resort and want peace and quiet.

This place was amazing! So peaceful and serene, the beach is a 1 min walk from the from door, private with spectacular views and an absolutely perfectly oeaceful environment. The community was inviting and warm, everyone was genuinely happy that I was there and I felt like famiky with the way I was welcomed and recieved. The unit itself was perfect with a spectacular kitchen, AC, and private bedroom with ample sleeping for 4. This was a steal at the cost and would use this again if I returned. The pool was not working during my trip but it did not matter as the beach was so inviting. A car is needed to see different parts of the island but there are private picturesque beaches within walking distance. Sunrises and sunsets were astonishing and breathtaking from the bluff above the private beach, a short 10 min hike. The fire pit, was a great place to meet locals and have great conversations along with a family style BBQ to bring it all together really made this place feel like home.
