The cabin is located right on a lake with swimming and fishing opportunities. You have a panoramic view of the water and the Gausta peak from the living room. The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell winterland.Approximately 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country slopes. The location right between Bø and Notodden offers opportunities for shopping and restaurants. In the summer it is possible to rent the canoe ( in sharing with my other cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- per day.

There are many different hiking options in the mountains, with varied terrain and length of the hikes. The cabin is only about 8 km from Bø Sommarland and the climbing park Høyt & Lavt. Near Bø and Sommarland, there are also a large number of marked hiking trails in flatter terrain, and opportunities for swimming in Bøelva. It is about 10 min. walking distance to Lifjellstua for a delicious lunch and dinner in the restaurant there.

We want others to enjoy this great place, therefore we want to rent our cabin to adults, responsible people for periods we do not use the cabin ourselves. The cabin is centrally located with only a 1.5 hour drive from Oslo. Great hiking areas with walking, cycling and skiing to Blestølen and Blefjell Lodge. Great hiking areas right by the cabin wall. There is a road to the cabin door, running electricity and water. Very good sun conditions from early morning, until well into the evening It is well equipped
