Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Nottoway County

What a wonderful and comfortable home! If we return to Richmond, this is where we would like to stay! Alex was responsive, helpful and friendly. We would recommend this place for your stay in Richmond.

The Carriage House is beautiful. From the decor, well-stocked kitchen to luxurious linens, we were very comfortable in this home for a long weekend. Just outside of Farmville in a beautiful rural setting, is a jewel of a home. We were a party of 4, busy with different wedding festivities all weekend. It was lovely to start our days on the porch with coffee and come home to relax on the porch to enjoy the each other. Thanks to our host for a well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and all the goodies for us to enjoy. We appreciated your flexibility when we needed it! I hope to return to enjoy more of the area, shop at Greenfront and stay in this lovely home once again.

I had such a good time at Jennifer’s place. It’s secluded and very private. It was big enough to fit my entire family. I will be back whenever I’m in that area!

James was great with communication and recommended a lot of places. The home was clean and spacious. I had no complaints or concerns! Definitely staying here again!

This location was beautiful. It was located 30 minutes outside of Farmville. With 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths it was perfect for a large get together.

We enjoyed our stay! Claudia was very quick to respond to messages, everything was there that we needed from linens, to soap, to utensils. Within easy driving distance to downtown Richmond or any of the suburbs.

The property and house were stunning. The house was super clean, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed. Everything about the home was comfortable. We enjoyed our mornings outside with coffee and feeding the horses. The property is stunning and quiet. Gail and Randy were kind and gave us riding lessons and a historical tour around the property. We will be back and we recommend the home! it's a gem!

Tina's place was perfect for some time away from all the events of my daughter's wedding. I felt safe and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The TV outside in the screened in porch was a bonus as I like sipping coffee and listening to morning tv. Tina had so many amenities that I was appreciative of. I would definitely recommend her place. Restaurants and the big box stores were only 10 minutes away.

Sadly, my husband and I didn’t have the chance to stay here because of water issues, but Patricia arranged a hotel for us. We planned to stay here the night of our wedding. We were bummed we couldn’t stay here, but the hotel was wonderful. We had an issue with payment and the hotel ended up charging us but Patricia promptly sent us the money back via “Venmö” The hotel was also more expensive and they covered the additional cost which was very kind. Hopefully the next time we are in the area we can stay with them! Overall amazing hosts and went above and beyond.

James is an amazing host! Super responsive and professional! He provided lots of information about the area, had clear expectations of his guests, and was extremely communicative and thoroughly answered all of my questions. James is friendly and his place was clean, well stocked with amenities, and very comfortable. It was a pleasure staying at his Airbnb!

This was a very nice place to stay. Everything was exactly as described and the photos were accurate. Because it is a duplex, it is not as quiet and private as some, but that was in the description as well. We would stay there again.

Been quite a few spots on Airnb. Catherine and Shawn are truly the best host I have experienced….and not even close. They enjoy sharing their slice of heaven to those who appreciate all it has to offer. Gorgeous property to get out and explore and take it all in .It’s a trip my son and I always look forward to.

The cabin was beautiful and the cinnamon rolls were delicious. It was nice and peaceful on sight but a little bit of a drive to get food anywhere. Definitely would be interested in staying here again for a nice retreat from day to day life!

This was my family’s second stay at Amelia’s place and it was amazing. The cabin had problems with the AC a few days prior to our arrival, Amelia called to let us know and explain she had a portable unit in the cabin to cool it down. On the morning we were coming she called to let us know the update on the AC and that it would be fixed that Wednesday, we were checking in on a Monday. She told us she could refund us the money or we could stay an extra day for the inconvenience. We toughed it out the first day as it honestly wasn’t too hot with the portable in there and actually the people showed up Tuesday to get it fixed. Our three kids even got to play with Amelia’s kids and our oldest son loved it. He talked about her kids and how he got to play with them the rest of the trip. The cabin is just perfect and the host is amazing. One of the best host and most responsive host we’ve had at all the airbnbs we have stayed at. We can’t wait to return, our kids are talking about it already!

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and we had a wonderful stay at Wells Cabin! The location was perfect and had all the amenities that we needed. Weddings are stressful and the peaceful atmosphere was needed and appreciated!! Would highly recommend.

We were in Farmville for our daughter's graduation from Longwood! It was a perfect place for us, with lots of room. We will be reaching out again when our youngest daughter graduates too! Would definitely recommend!!
