Little Moon, fully renovated 1950 Aljo trailer, found buried to its axles in Mojave. Named after her original owner, a Native American woman named Little Moon, whose birth certificate was found in the trailer. She has now been rebuilt and completely restored and placed in a perfect location under oak trees and next to our vegetable garden on our ranch where our numerous animals keep her company. My family and I stayed in the studio next to the main house. The location is incredible, and very peaceful. Photos do not do justice to the places :) Even though the studio shares a wall with the main house and there were guests next door, we wouldn’t hear a sounds. Definitely worth checking out!

The highlight of this place was sitting out on the delightful balcony deck/garden area which had the most stunningly beautiful view, and watching the humming birds feed from the plants. We had a wonderful stay. Kerstin and Adam were fantastic hosts. We too like others loved the eggs from their hens. Their place is very private. Small but well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. We felt immersed in nature.

As a Ventura native, coming back to my hometown is always so special. This spot was in such a precious location, and was perfect for my boyfriend and I, who spent time in Saticoy with family, went out to eat in Downtown Ventura, and did a day trip to Ojai! It seemed to be right in the middle of all of the most important spots. Andy and Amanda were responsive to any questions we had and were so friendly. The guesthouse was so cute and cozy, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I can’t express enough how much I love this place. It’s unlike any other experience I’ve had. Everything is so peaceful, relaxing, fun, and open. You can do pretty much anything you want at any time on the property. All the animals are super friendly and fun to hang with. Alex and his fiancé are super nice and laid back. They had everything we needed and more. The yurts are huge and comfortable. The bathrooms are really well kept. And the kitchen and rec rooms are amazingly fun and convenient. The amount of antiques and quirky touches are unmatched. The only heads up is that there is no cell service, and sometimes the wifi can be spotty. So don’t expect to be able to do zoom meetings whenever. But if you’re looking for a fun getaway to reconnect with nature. This is it. 100% worth the money.
