The home has three bedrooms and an open plan lounge, dining-nook and kitchen. Very quiet location with a welcome to overseas and New Zealand visitors. Families welcome but parents are asked to remember that although the road has little traffic, the property is not fenced. We have the greatest sea views, plenty of land and pelagic birds to spot with many simple and more challenging walks available, very like New Zealand used to be. Friendly but not intrusive people, helpful house manager available.

really nice place with clear and detailed instructions. You will wake up with birds singing in the morning and sleep with the sound of the ocean wave. Romantic and beautiful lovely place to enjoy the nature on Stewart Island. It’s gonna be once in your lifetime’s experience. It’s really cute when we finished our Encounter With Wild Kiwi trip and see there’s a lovely note showing the host’s kindness. Recommend reading the infos in the email before you get there to know the right way to get in there. Prepare a usb charger for your phone or other device, there’s only one usb plug to charge anything.
