This guest house opened in July 2021. Osu Shopping Street is within a 7-minute walk, and there is a bar on the ground floor, which is popular with local customers. The shared counter kitchen is stocked with a variety of cooking utensils and condiments, so you can enjoy cooking right away. Nearby supermarkets, convenience stores, and pharmacies are within 350 meters. The shared living room is available 24 hours a day, so you can enjoy chatting with guests you've become friends with until midnight, or work at the counter desk. There is no curfew and the shower is available 24 hours. Check-in time is from 4 pm to 11 pm, but Early check-in may be available, so please consult with us. This land with its old-fashioned townscape and famous water is hot in summer and cold in winter. But that's why the rice, vegetables, and meat are also delicious. Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
