The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. You will stay in a small fine Baroque cottage. The center of Lucerne can be reached in a 10-minute walk. The cottage is ideal for 1-2 people. The small room (15 m²) has all the details to make your stay cozy and pleasant. It has a comfortable sofa bed that you can use as a sofa during the day. You have an outdoor space with table, chairs, armchairs and sun loungers. A fire ring is also available. Behind the house begins a beautiful forest for hiking.

Holiday cottage located on the sunny slope with beautiful views. After a short but somewhat steep walk to the bungalow, you can enjoy the view of the Alpstein with our local mountain, the Säntis, on a cozy terrace. There are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Please note: From the parking lot, you can walk relatively steeply up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest for about 100 m.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Charming pavilion with double bed (sofa bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, fire up the heating fireplace, cozy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, a mass camp in the barn is also available, e.g. for families. There is a kitchen available, about 20m from the cottage. On request, we will provide a breakfast for an extra charge of Fr. 13.- per person, which must be paid in advance as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.

Welcome to our Demeter farm! We are a small family business specializing in the production of yogurt and fruit yogurt. Our farm is home to many animals, from horses, cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, pigeons, bees and dogs to cats. Our farm is located on the edge of a small village and is about 14 km from Lake Constance. The farm is surrounded by nature and many beautiful things can be done in the Lake Constance region.

Bee House in a dreamlike location

Our Bee House leaves nothing to be desired. It has a new bathroom with shower/toilet and a free-standing bathtub, a living room with a Scandinavian wood stove, a minibar, a Nespresso machine and a sleeping gallery. It is particularly suited for young people who appreciate calm spaces und nature. If the climb up to the gallery is too difficult, there is a comfortable sofa bed available downstairs.
