Holiday rentals with a patio in Occidental

Lovely place, small but well equipped and comfortable. A treetop hideaway indeed! Just read the description carefully about access, it's all accurate and if you can't manage 30 steps down to the deck (and back up!) then it's not for you. You can walk from the doorstep right into the Bald Hill open space and on to Phoenix Lake or even Mount Tam, it's lovely countryside so long as you like hills!

Kate was a great host and made sure to answer all of my questions in a timely manner!

This was a great stay. Peaceful neighborhood very clean home. Beth was very kind and punctual with her communication. Beautiful surroundings and was even able to go to a neighborhood yard sale. Upsides: Cute little place surrounded by trees and wildlife (cute deer dropped by daily) - walkable to downtown and mountain trails. Lovely window desk to get work done if needed, sunny deck with seating. Lots of outlets! Helpful, accommodating hosts. Possible downsides: 10 min hilly street and (narrow at points) trail to downtown - we like to hike so it was fine but if you're not a hiker, you'll want to ride/drive.

I had a great time staying here. Easy to get to and find. The apartment was away from the street so it was very quiet and secluded which I really like. Definitely would stay here again

This is a great apartment with a spectacular view. If you are a bird watcher or nature lover, you will flip! There are sea birds, sea lions, herons and egrets right outside your window. It is also very easy short walk to the Tides Wharf with restaurant, snack bar, gift shop and fish market. Megan was always available and responsive to our many questions.

Hailey’s place was a beautiful and spacious. Our needs were exceeded as we were visiting with family and friends nearby and didn’t require a kitchen for our meals. The space and views from the deck are gorgeous! We will definitely stay again as long as we are not traveling with our elderly parents who require wheelchair accessibility. My family reported sleeping well and feeling very comfortable in Haley‘s space.

Linda’s Green Queen was beautiful with a mix of amazing antique furniture and modern conveniences. We had a great visit and it was so refreshing to come back each night to a beautiful and comforting place. The thoughtfulness in even the smallest details was noticeable and appreciated.

Had a great stay. Michael and Edna have been great at communication and everything about the home and instructions to usages were well thought out. Tastefully decorated. Details like having all types of usb charging cables and small things like that tell you the hosts care very much about your experience. Sparkling clean. Highly recommend.

We had a wedding in Occidental and Michael's listing was the perfect stay for me, my wife, our 2 kids under 2 years old, and nanny. We wondered what Camp Meeker was going to be like but found the neighborhood plenty safe and nice, the neighbors were friendly across the street, and the place was a nice as it looks in the listing. There's very little cell phone service in the area, but Michael provides excellent instructions on how to navigate this. Great stay!

The place looked brand new and was the perfect spot to hang out in wine country. And Kim was a great host!

A picturesque getaway! The property was so beautiful, the house was charming and laid out perfectly for multiple guests. We enjoyed every minute of our time in Sonoma. Highly recommend!

Katherine’s place was just amazing to stay at. She literally had everything we could ask for, especially traveling with a toddler. The views from the home are great and lot a of good food a short drive away. We enjoyed hiking some near by trails and checking out some beautiful state parks

Super cozy nestled in the woods, we loved our stay! We enjoyed grilling and hanging out in the hot tub.

Located in a beautiful valley in the heart of West Marin lies Cow Track Ranch - a working cattle farm that’s in amongst the most beautiful scenery imaginable. The property is located 1.25 miles down an unpaved road which incidentally makes a great road for a jog or walk. The farm dogs are friendly. It’s very dark and quiet at night which is much appreciated. Recommendation to bring the food and drinks you need as there’s no grocery/restaurant immediately nearby. The property is well positioned between Novato, Petaluma, and Point Reyes. We loved every minute of our time on the ranch and look forward to our next stay!

Loved having a kitchen and BBQ so we could cook some meals. Convenient location to get to markets, bakeries, and get to scenic locations. Visits to local restaurants, breweries and wineries made it an enjoyable place to stay.
