We had a wonderful stay at Christine's place. Christine was a great host and very friendly and welcoming. The space was well set up with everything that we needed. Great value for money and we will definitely stay again!

We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Mokepilly to anyone. Beautiful setting, fantastic accommodation with everything you could need. This gave us all the things we were looking for and more. Peace and serenity in a country atmosphere close to all the areas we intended to visit. Our stay was very memorable and we will hopefully stay here again.

Leesa's place was comfortable for a 2 night stay as a solo traveller. The large room and bathroom adjoins the family home. It felt secure and had everything I needed. Leesa provided some baked goods on the second morning from the local bakery which was a nice touch. Would stay again!

Very peaceful and pretty with the hot tub and nightlights, all round pretty clean but could do with a deep clean as there was a lot of dust behind things and water marks on the tops, glass and appliances. Apart from that it was a lovely stay and would recommend. Jordan & Rita

This is my second visit to Graeme's studio flat, and I have to say it’s definitely the best value-for-money Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Graeme has renovated the bathroom this time, giving the studio a fresher, more modern feel. His dgos Lexa and Frankie are as affectionate and welcoming as ever, and they got along really well with our dog. The pet-friendly environment makes it perfect for families who want to travel with their furry friends. The huge backyard offers stunning views of the night sky, especially when you can stargaze from the spa - it's definitely the highlight of all seasons! Due to some unexpected circumstances, we had to change our plans, but Graeme was very understanding and accommodate our needs to. Really appreciate that and we will definitely visit the studio again!

Had the best stay and time! Friendly, sweet and helpful hosts who prepared refreshments, eye masks and ear buds, and even sunscreen. Great location, easily accessible, and clean and cosy. An amazing beachview from the rooftop and could see stars at night :)

This was hands down one of my favorite Airbnbs in 14 years of using the platform. Lahi’s Ohana is small but incredibly well-designed—you have everything you need. We used the kitchen daily, loved the cozy work nook, and appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout, especially the high-quality bedding and modern bathroom. The private patio was the highlight—immaculate, peaceful, and perfect for meals or just soaking in the fresh air. The location is super convenient—only 15 minutes to the beach, airport, groceries, and more, nestled in a quiet hillside neighborhood with dedicated parking. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful home. Always feels right at home between our journey from the Gold Coast to Melbourne. The perfect setting, peaceful, most comfortable bed and everything you could ask for. We will be back! Thank you again for having us 🥰

It’s like the surfers are performing on stage and you have a choice, balcony box seat. What a lovely stay, put to bed each night by frog lullabies and the distant sounds of crashing waves. Hilo was close by, but here you’re in your own peaceful nook in a quiet neighborhood. It was all that was described. Mahalo.

Lovely guest suite. Cute decor. Had everything we needed. Hot tub was super clean and exactly what we needed after a hike to the Green Sand beach. Nestled in beautiful lush gardens. Super friendly host.

Terry’s place was fantastic! It was perfect for a private and peaceful place to go back to after exploring around Wānaka. My friend and I loved the beautiful views from the glass doors in the morning. Would highly recommend!

We stayed at Kimberley & Jamie’s lovely place for a week while working in the area. What a good choice it turned out to be. Set in an incredible spot on top of a hill, the Airbnb is pristine, peaceful, warm and well-equipped. The hosts are discreet, responsive and flexible. We enjoyed every minute even in the wildest of weather! Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay here. Super cute space exactly like the photos. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed here. Very close to the ferry so getting into the city was easy and Chris was an amazing host and made our stay very easy. Would reccomend!

Paul’s place was great. Very welcoming, very clean, very beautiful. We came for the honeymoon and enjoyed our stay. The swing and the pool really stood out. He also had a kitchen and a bathroom stocked with all of the necessities. There were 2 things that we didn’t expect: 1. A/C wasn’t working, however Paul explained that it happened right before we got there and offered us a portable cooler for the bedroom. 2. Paul and his wife were staying in the same house. We were separated by locked doors and had a separate entrance. The pool and all of the yard was in our use only. However, it was unexpected to have people living in the same house since it’s advertised as “private”. Other than that our experience was awesome. Beautiful island with lots to do!! Great and responsive hosts! Very comfortable and homey place!!

We had an amazing stay! Janny was a fantastic host — communication was smooth and she was super flexible with our check-in and check-out times. The campfire area was a highlight, and we were so grateful to Mark who came by personally to help us get the fire going. Everything exceeded our expectations. We’d absolutely love to come back again :)

The place is well equipped with all you need in the kitchen, bathroom, amenities. The view was superb! Enough heater and aircon to keep us comfortable. Owner was easily contacted via the app and the instructions were clearly laid out. However, the balcony can go straight in towards the glass door of the living room and bedroom, which so happened the other tenant came by our bedroom door while my husband was resting to inform us about the parking space. This could violate our privacy.

Great Airbnb in a safe location. Walkable neighborhood with good amenities. We used a lot of the recommendations to enhance our stay. The beaches to the west were quiet and clean.

Great stay - would definitely stay again, if short. It's a little small for a longer stay, but my husband and I really enjoyed the outdoor lanai downstairs. Easy access to everything in Hilo. Room was quiet and comfortable, and Jane was a great host - thanks again!

5 stars is not enough and I don’t say that lightly. The experience was more than I could have hoped for. Joanna was professional but kind offering lots of insights and anything a tourist might need for a day at the beach. She anticipated a potential early check in, allowing us to arrive early after our 26hours of travel. There was aloe and sunburn meds which we inevitably used. The space was clean and the lofted aspect made the winds from the mountain a dream. The space did get very hot during the mid day but the island is so beautiful and diverse that we were never at the bnb during that time. Joanna used Hawaiian words to name and describe the space. We were in the “Holoholo” which roughly translates to ‘have the mindset to joyfully wander’. The space was used for that purpose and was all the better for it. Some advice for any travelers to Maui! DO NOT travel with a destination in mind. Allow yourself to wander and enjoy the timeless beauty and majesty of the island.
