Apartment holiday rentals in Ocracoke Island

It was the perfect spot for our mini get away. I loved the location, especially the ice cream shop just a couple houses down! The Tavern restaurant was in walking distance, along with a deli! Everyone was very friendly. Price was very reasonable, especially for a last-minute booking. Thank you for getting us in an hour earlier too! We had a wonderful time, our doggie too!

Enjoyed a quiet and relaxing few days in Ocracoke. House is split with second flooring being a 2 bedroom, 1 bath with a little efficiency kitchen. It worked well for my family for a few days. On a canal. Very peaceful and serene. Easy to get around island. Had a little hiccup checking in but host was responsive and nice. We would stay again.

Rocking Hat Retreat was awesome, quiet, comfortable, private off the beaten path a bit, very clean. I liked the gated drive, felt a little secure being there. Parking under the building was nice. It was a really nice pplace to kick back and relax after a day of driving and a day in the beach, wish we could have stayed longer! Jayme was onsite when we arrived and very helpful in restraint selection (Mad Crabber) very informative on local amenities as well. We will return ! Thank you Jayme!

Booked with Taylor last minute on a busy holiday weekend. Room was very clean and a nice hot shower after a Long Beach day. A short drive to cape hatteras and restaurants also a short walk to the beach. There’s a tv that you can log in to your subscription or watch YouTube. Prefect and quite night sleep for my family. We recommend staying here

Meredith is a great host! Very communicative and responsive. She was accommodating towards our needs. I’d stay again considering how clean and quiet the room was!

We loved spending the weekend at Papa’s Place. My boyfriend and I were looking for a low key, quiet spot to get away and relax, and this place was perfect! It is walking distance to several good restaurants and the beach while still being tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The people of the neighborhood and of Buxton as a whole were friendly and helpful. Papa’s place is the perfect size for a couple, and the full kitchen has everything you need to stay in and cook. The highlight of our trip was sitting out on their porch with their cat Juan!

Perfect for two of us plus our dog. The deck is lovely with new furniture and the view can’t be beat. Easy bike or golf cart ride to the Village and the owners are friendly and responsive.

We enjoyed our stay at Nikki’s apartment very much. The space is very clean, inviting and had all the amenities listed on the description. The photos are accurate and reflect the second floor apartment well. We like to cook a few meals while traveling and found all the pots, pans and utensils we needed in the kitchen. New appliances are also available. It is located in a peaceful, quiet and safe neighborhood. Nikki and her husband were friendly and available if needed. Would definitely consider returning again.

Very nice and very clean place near the beach and centrally located. The host's family is so quiet that it feels like you've reserved the whole house even though you're staying in the bottom floor. Host responds to texts very promptly and is very helpful. Her place was very clean and had a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed and a quiet neighborhood allowed for restful nights which is a nice change from beach-side locations which can be noisy.

This stay was wonderful. The place was very comfortable, clean, and exactly as described. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful area that’s not busy at all—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved how private it felt, with no noise or crowds nearby. The best part was the million dollar, unobstructed view of the ocean—absolutely breathtaking and worth every penny. Nancy was very responsive, making check-in and communication seamless. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic visit at The Best Nest! It was peaceful, comfortable, clean and felt like home. Chuck and Donna are so generous in sharing their space and it was well stocked with all you could need for a beach visit. The location is perfect. We enjoyed the quiet, private neighborhood with a short walk to the beach, and also super close to ramp 55 if you plan to drive on the beach. Great food, ice cream and coffee all within 5 minutes. We had such a wonderful time and the only thing I wish we would have done differently is stayed longer! :)

Carrie's place was perfect for a long weekend away for two! Loved the space, the king size bed, the welcome snacks, and most importantly, the proximity to the beach!!

After 25 years of Camp Hatteras and the KOA In Rodanthe, I sold our RV planning to get another. 5 years later and 5 years worth of rentals, Waterman’s is very well worth the fee!

Fantastic views, cozy, great bed… lots of positives to say about this gem! The owners were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Fantastic back porch overlooking the Pamlico Sound. Very quick drive to Hatteras and Buxton, where there are plenty of fantastic restaurants. And a huge hot tub!

I highly recommend this place. Everything was seamless with our stay. Location was perfect with amazing quiet beaches and great restaurants and shops. Airbnb was quiet and felt like home.

Casa Crews is a gem. Perfect location — a short walk to spend our days at the beach and even take a midday break from the sun back on the shaded patio if needed. The recommendations in the booklet the hosts created were very thoughtful and super helpful as a starting point to exploring the surrounding area. An excellent spot for a getaway and exactly what we were looking for!

Location was great, short walk to some good restaurants and the beach. Beach access is a little unclear. You have to walk to the end of the road you’re staying on then cut left through a cutout in the bush line, then go to the right down that street and you can basically cut through any of those houses side yards as they are all vacation properties that seem to allow public access to the public beach. There are several blue signs in those yards that say beach and you can see the footpath over the dunes behind them. Place was nice, would definitely stay there again. Staff was friendly.
