Beach Haven is very well appointed with all modern facilities, including sky TV and Wi-Fi. There is a set of golf clubs, some tennis rackets, a kayak, and boogie boards.There is a very good outdoor area to relax. A little supermarket and wine shop 2 minutes walk.

Within 80 metres there is access to the patrolled Ohope beach, voted NZs favourite beach and renowned for great swimming , surfing and walks Drive 10mins (6km) to the town of Whakatane - a great little town with a selection of shops and dining options.

Only 400 metres walk to main beach access, good fishing with Surfcasting or Kontiki fishing or maybe take a stroll or relax and enjoy this lovely beach. 7 minutes drive to shopping, supermarket. This Brand New compact studio, has a kitchenette with microwave, electric frypan, slow cooker, electric jug & toaster (no stove) It is within walking distance to town and a short driving distance to beaches, kayaking the rivers, hiking and biking trails, with the Motu cycle trail on the doorstep. Whale island tours leave from Whakatāne which is a short drive away. Opotiki has an amazing 3 level Museum that you can spend hours at.
