House holiday rentals in Ōhope

We had another great stay at this resort. We have stayed in other places managed by Nerida before. This three bedder is maybe getting a little tired decor wise… so just now that it is a Kiwi bach experience that your getting in a great location. Will definitely be keen to come again.

Love the pool and spa combo here, even for a Winter stay it was fun to have a hot spa and a cold plunge! Courtenay was a great help and quick to communicate with.

The overall experience was very good. Being in a private space, sure helps feeling relaxed and at peace. Enjoy the early sunrise over a cup of coffee and finish enjoying the outdoor tubs with my wife over a glass of champagne was perfect.

Stunning views and a beautiful property. Came with family for a little weekend holiday and we really relaxed and enjoyed our stay. The house is so well laid out and designed, each bedroom has its own en suite and everyone had their own space to relax. While the weather was not as hot and sunny as we had hoped we still used the pool and spa and also enjoyed the game room. Great place to unwind and relax with family or friends!

We had a fantastic stay in Adrienne’s place whilst visiting family living close by. We enjoyed the family orientated spaces and the kids loved the pool and table tennis table. The kitchen allowed us to cook and dine altogether which was a really lovely thing to be able to do with our extended family and we enjoyed movies and boardgames in the evening afterwards. It’s a fab house and well worth the money🙌 Adrienne has all bases covered when it comes to kitchen equipment, utensils, consumables, towels, blankets etc. it really was a home away from home for us our only regret was that we couldn’t have booked it for longer. When we return we will definitely hoping we can book here again 🙏Many thanks to Adrienne again for sharing this special family space with us🙌

Fantastic stay in Papamoa.. So nice to bring family altogether under one roof to holiday and enjoy quality time in a relaxed environment. Amazing host, so informative and helpful at every step of the way.. a beautiful l home with plenty of space to chillax and a great safe outdoor area for little ones. The property is very well equipped and can easily access all surrounding areas, beach, supermarket, shopping, restaurants etc by walkways or car. A most enjoyable holiday, thank you so much :)

Joanne was amazing. She even baked a cake for my birthday 🥰 House was beautiful the location matched the house. Everything was perfect besides the weather but out of everyones hands. Very informative and communcation was a breeze. So much to keep the kids occupied for when the weather is crap lile how it was. Pool table, Table Tennis, Darts. Was amazing. Overall Amazing and absolutely loved our stay. By far the best weve had. Thank you to Joanne & her Husband. I hope youre was happy with how we left it🫣😄

The house was perfect for us, we loved the open plan setting so we could sit inside and outside and still all communicate and hang out. Loved that sleeping was upstairs giving people privacy when needed. The pool was nice and clean and the deck roof was an awesome touch. Very sleek kitchen nicely set up and stocked. We enjoyed the house so much we only ventured out for stock up of food instead of dining out. Host was very accommodating as we had unplanned guest end up coming and staying. Thanks for having us

We LOVED staying here! The view was something else. The house was super warm. All amenities were clean and the house was cosy. This was only a short drive to the Redwoods. Melanie was really responsive and we really enjoyed our stay.

Spacious, clean, tidy, warm, functional kitchen and excellent location. Would suit those with mobility issues or wheelchair use. Walking distance to supermarket, shops and garage. Nice walk to town and riverside reserves. Plenty of parking, easy to find, and therefore easy to navigate around Whakatane. Lovely warm vibe. Excellent choice for cooking your own meals. Comfortable beds. Highly recommend.

"Aisling was an absolutely wonderful host! Her communication was awesome, even reaching out to let us know about a cold snap during the week of our booking to let us know about electric blankets, the heat pump, and extra heaters. The house itself was perfect, and check-in was incredibly easy and great!"

House was warm and cozy, its a older home but has 2 heat pumps which easily warm the space. The toilet is just outside of the back door but the night was warm so the extra walk did not bother us. The back door is still covered with plywood and a window in the small bedroom is covered with cardboard but me and my group were not worried about security. We let the host know we would be arriving late and the outside light and heat pumps were left on for our late arrival.

Amazing house in an even more amazing location. We loved the deck and chairs and easy beach access! Spent a lot of time sitting on deck watching waves, surfers and beach goers. Unit was spotless and kitchen was very well stocked - and I mean very! Loved the Nespresso and frother. Great bed and comfortable living room with a good TV. Had a fabulous dinner at Cadera. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was a bit of a splurge for just the two of us but so worth it!

Fantastic place just as you enter Ohope. Beautiful little spot, and nicely located so you can either conveniently surf where you feel along the beach. Will hopefully stay again for another weekend getaway. Cheers

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Darryl and Beths cottage. The cottage itself is so lovely for a getaway to relax; with everything you might need to cook with, it was spotless, beautifully furnished and decorated, and the size perfectly suited our family stay. The location is stunning, across the road to the beach or down the driveway to the harbor, and the general store, playground, wharf etc is a short walk away. Darryl is happy to give local advice. Came home very relaxed and happy. Awesome hosts, thank you!

Absolutely stunning place to stay when in the area. The view and direct access to the beach is just incredible. Can’t wait to be back. My only issue was that we couldn’t stay longer :)

We loved this Airbnb! The location right on the beach was gorgeous, and the neighbors are very friendly. Kay was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We were able to drive to a lot of interesting things to do within an hour of the house. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in a small town in New Zealand.
