The most unique feature of this inn is its one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP from design to production, featuring a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can only have here, surrounded by the gentle warmth of a wood-burning stove. Inside the room, there is also an irori (traditional hearth) characteristic of a traditional Japanese house. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot or grilling skewers while sitting around the irori (traditional hearth). *Please bring your own ingredients and cooking utensils, such as skewers. The inn is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled among the mountains in Misasaki, Okayama Prefecture. Right nearby is Nishi-Awakura Village, which is gaining attention as a village focused on regional revitalization and attracting new residents, and which offers a scenic, nature-rich satoyama landscape. We have 2 electric bicycles and 5 bicycles available. They are available for free to guests. You can also take your bike on the ferry to Naoshima and Teshima. Insects may enter the house depending on the season, as the garden is close to the old house. We are taking measures, but please refrain from booking if you are not good with insects.
