Apartment holiday rentals in Okrug Gornji

The apartment was a great base to explore Split. We also went on day trips to Hvar and The National Park which we enjoyed. The apartment is exactly like it is in the photos and is very clean and well equipped. We appreciated the extras touches - drinks in the fridge and pastries when we arrived and toiletries and lots of towels. It is five floors up but this means the terrace has great views over the harbour. Anamarija was an excellent host and we loved our stay.

We felt comfortable in the apartment and especially liked the clean kitchen and living room. By car, you can quickly get to Split, but the surrounding area is also very nice. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. We definitely recommend the place!

We had a very enjoyable stay! Communication with Goran went smoothly. The accommodation was super clean, everything was neat and well maintained. On foot you can reach the beach "Znjan" in 15-20 minutes and for little money we went by Uber to the old town of Split. We'd love to come back, Hvala Goran! 😊

This was a great Airbnb! It was extremely homey with all the amenities you needed. The host was extremely responsive with clear instructions. Really quick walk into the city center. The front room with two twin beds can be a little noisy from the street below, but a sound machine can help that. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Split.

Such a perfect place to stay in Split! This is the best location possible with a great view. The room is super clean with lots of space for your things. The apartment is also fully stoked with whatever you may need for you stay. Would 100% recommend.

I fell in love with Croatia & Kaštel Kambelovac during my 1-month stay at Erma’s. Barbara, who was my support and contact person, was super helpful, especially when I had questions as I began learning my way around on the wonderful bus system. While you cannot see the water at all & there is little direct sunlight coming in (as there is a building acrosss the street that seems to house a preschool), the studio is charming inside (just as it looks in pics), & is only a 30-second walk from a little pebble beach, a long promenade with benches, and a yummy restaurant. Two more blocks gets you to groceries, a town square (popular with locals—not touristy) & coffee/drink bars. I so appreciated access to a bike to explore the waterfront villages in Kaštel, which had more outdoor dining in the direction of Trojir. Easy access to charming walled city of Trojir, much larger Split, & the airport by bus. Tip: I most loved beach bar with trees at nearby Gomilica. Plus be sure to download bus app.

The perfect little place by the beach for your stay in Split! Comfortable beds, a washer and dryer, and a functional kitchen. Everything was as described! We would recommend!

Solo traveller review: I had the pleasure of staying a month, off season (Jan) and couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. The location is perfect, you’re in the historical centre but it’s on the outskirts where people still live year round rather than rent out. (Whilst on an independent tour of the city I was recommended to go to this neighbourhood for proper food). I was greeted warmly, made to feel very much at home and the apartment’s got plenty of privacy. The most noise you’ll come across will be the ringing of church bells. The pictures are accurate, it’s a 2nd floor apartment with it’s own entrance, there’s a table and chairs for morning coffees right outside the door but I was also given free use of the lower garden and the bbq. Although this is a solo trip review I would say the apartment would work comfortably for 3 people or a family for a proper holiday rather than just a weekend. This was my favourite stay in my 3 months of travel Ita-Slo-Pol-Cro.

We got a very warm welcome. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Everything worked. We didn’t need to contact Petra during our stay as everything was provided. The terrace was very private, spacious and with beautiful views day and night. The beach and shop are 3-5 minute walk away stocking most items. If you don’t have a car, we decided not to hire, use Uber, super cheap. The 42 bus seems to run only week days in the winter and stops at the shop, again very cheap. So glad we stayed here, would stay again.

We are completely satisfied with the accommodation! Air conditioning in each room, fully equipped kitchen, clean dishwasher, a large balcony where we liked to have breakfast and dinner. I can gladly recommend it. Marko was a very friendly host, and we had no questions and no problems. The location is particularly suitable for families, it was our second vacation in Kaštela. Quiet beaches with shallow entry, showers, rentals. A little further on you will find the old town and restaurants. In 15 minutes you can reach Trogir, in 30 minutes Split, you can have a nice afternoon trip.

Great location with a wonderful host. Ivana was always there for questions or for just a talk. According to our kids, the dog and the cat were the big stars. They sometimes just visit the apartment for cuddles and Billy the dog joins you to the beach. Great place for kids with an amazing view. Short walk to the beach. An amazing ice cream shop in the village with a sea side terrace was our favorite place to stay when not at the apartment. We really recommend Vila Ana Karolina.

Perfect place for short (we stayed four nights) or long stay in central Trogir. The apartment was spacious, clean, bright and airy with only a 5 minute walk from Trogir bus station. Location couldn't be better as you are tucked away in a quiet area which is only a 1 minute walk to the shops and promenade. Unbelievable amount of great restaurants but I highly recommend 2 Point Kitchen & Bar on the promenade - the food was fantastic and the service was the best we experienced during our time in Croatia. If you want beautiful beaches then a walk (or ten minute bus journey) across the bridge to the island of Čiovo is where you'll find them. Just to the left of Camp Rozac is a quiet and pretty beach and very close by you can also get a boat back to Trogir castle/fortress for only 5 euro. The staff at Kairos were extremely friendly and helpful so we had an effortless check in and check out.

This place was in a great location, you can walk to the water and the shops are right around the corner. Marija made check in easy and was very helpful. The place was clean and exactly what I expected.

It was a very good place to stay! Beautiful surroundings, close to a beach and with stores within walking distance. Bus connections to central Split was sufficient for our stay, although not the most frequent.

Mr. Vjenceslav was super nice, funny and helpful. The apartment was also found without major deficiencies as shown in the photos. We would definitely recommend this place with great views.

Petar and his family were honestly great. If you are wanting a clean well kept place to stay which is a 10 minute uber away from split. We couldn’t recommend the place more!

This is an exceptional apartment, split over two levels with first floor bedroom and bathrooms and living and kitchen space above, leading to a large balcony. Yes it is set on a hillside and yes the pathways up from the beach are steep, but the view of the whole bay made the climb worth the effort. The apartment is very modern and bathrooms spotless. The pool is a decent size and whenever we were using it we had it to ourselves. Apartment comes complete with James Bond style hatch opening to the rooftop! There was a mix up with check-in but the owner quickly responded to the message on Airbnb and got it sorted. The apartment is possibly the best equipped we have stayed in with plenty of crockery and utensils and chopping boards etc and plentiful supplies of toilet rolls, linen, towels (for bathrooms and for pool). Driving and parking can be challenging. We will miss our evening BBQs on the balcony watching activity on the water and the sun setting. Book now, you won't be disappointed

This place really surpassed our expectations and is even nicer than in the photos. It’s spotlessly clean, really spacious and very well supplied with everything you need. Pool was really quiet so always sun loungers available. Host was friendly, communicative and added some really thoughtful extra touches for our celebration which made it extra special. Overall we could not fault it and would definitely recommend. We did need to get taxis into town as it’s outside of the center, but Ubers were really cheap and quick, so this didn’t both us and was a worthwhile trade off to have a pool.

We had an incredible time! The location of the apartment was ideal with less than a 10 minute walk to 3 different beaches! There were multiple supermarkets also in 5 minuet walking distance. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped which was ideal for us as we made most of our food in the house. The apartment is small but perfect for a week’s stay for two people. Thank you Enis!

Elena was a spectacular host. She picked me up at the airport and took me to her home. It was a bit difficult to find the first time as it is on a pedestrian street but we quickly found our way around It is 5 minutes from EVERYTHING.. the beaches , green market, the palace and old town … The patio and pool made a perfect place to relax after a long day sightseeing

Tomislav and Ivana were both extremely responsive from day one when I let them know our plane was delayed to the day we checked out. We received a great welcome when we arrived and discounts to some local restaurants. The location was perfect, two minutes walk to the beach, lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance and the harbour only a mile away. Apartment was lovely and relaxing and the pool and garden are in direct sunlight up until early evening. Would definitely recommend.
