There is one bathroom with toilet and washing machine, and one bathroom with shower. Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and oven. The surrounding area offers nice hiking experiences with lake and mountains in the immediate vicinity, as well as a short drive to the nearest town. The house has two large balconies and an outdoor area with access to the lake. Free Wi-Fi and parking.

Grandma's house from the 50s with sea view

Welcome to Farmorhuset in Nykvåg, in the middle of beautiful Vesterålen. The house was built in 1954 and combines nostalgic 50s style with today's amenities for a comfortable stay. I have inherited this house from my father, who in turn inherited it from his mother, and it has therefore been important for me to preserve the soul and history of the house. Farmorhuset has three bedrooms with a total of four beds, which makes the house perfect for both small families and groups of friends.

Idyllic sheltered cabin by the lake with its own floating jetty and rowboat. All fishing gear and life jackets are on site! Boat will not be available from October-April! Enjoy the beautiful nature Vesterålen has to offer with many hiking opportunities in the area, and dancing northern lights in autumn/winter. Also observed a pod of porpoises in the sea 🐬
