Cabin holiday rentals in Old Orchard Beach

Booked this home to accommodate 7 people. Enough space for everyone. Comfortable sleeping arrangements. Modern appliances, spacious kitchen for us all to be preparing food and drink. Enjoyed being outside by the fire pit and hot tub. Lake was peaceful and fun for us to walk down to and use kayaks and paddle boards. Great spot for a girls getaway for a couple days.

Don’t think twice on this lakeside retreat! Awesome area with good restaurants and amenities close by. The views and the peace and serenity this home provides is incredible. Was surprised how clean this cabin was especially with being lake front. Couldn’t have been happier booking Peter’s place!!

5 stars doesn’t feel like enough to give this cabin. A thousand stars seems more adequate. My advice: book this place ASAP and keep your itinerary clear as you may not want to leave this incredible, serene escape. Romantic, secluded, beautiful, luxurious, peaceful. It has it all. The most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in! Christian and Ruth have thought of everything! They’re also the most accommodating and responsive hosts we’ve ever had. If they are setting the standard for rental hosts, then everyone else is failing! Already looking at our calendar for the next time we can come back!

We had the most wonderful stay at Jeremiah and Lisseth’s beautiful lakeside cabin! From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed by the thoughtful personalized gifts they left for us. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and incredibly well-stocked, especially the bathroom, which had anything you might need if you forgot something. It was the perfect space for a quiet girls weekend, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Jeremiah and Lisseth were also incredibly easy to communicate with. Quick to respond and so helpful throughout the entire process. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay here! Great location to get away and toast some marshmallows. This was the perfect house for our group and we loved the hot tub and all the games in the basement. Thanks again Jessica!

Dave was an amazing host and he provided the best possible get away for our first wedding anniversary. It was private there is so much beautiful outdoor art to look at and the hot tub was the perfect way to wind down after the day. If there was a 6 star option I would give it this was everything we wanted and needed and then some

Charming cabin! We had lots to do although we mostly just relaxed. Catherine was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed! Great central location and the fire pit is magical.

I had a very relaxing long weekend, just what I needed for a private getaway alone. The home was cozy and comfortable, everything I needed was easy to find. I traveled alone so I would have been a bit more comfortable if there had been curtains or blinds in the main living area, however, they were in all the bedrooms. Privacy at night is just important to me. The location was very private and felt away from the world, the furniture was very comfortable which I find important on a VK anywhere. The host was extremely responsive also extremely. important.

This house definitely measured up to the ratings for us. The pictures were accurate and the amenities as described. The large lot and surrounding trees give a bit of privacy and space. We really liked the large patio around the fire pit and had several fires on the cool nights we were there. The hot tub was also refreshing after our long days running around. I would say it has the feel of a resort while also having the comforts of home. The beach is just a short drive away although we didn't make it there. I am already thinking of coming back.

If you want to find solitude, this is the place to go. Set in the woods, 10mt drive from Freeport, the A frame cottage was just the place to chill. You could use it as a launching pad for Portland, New Brunswick and Freeport. Bow Market in Freeport offers a wide range of food and beverages.

Christina’s place is awesome! Cozy, centrally located on the island, and stocked with everything you need for a great stay. We were very comfortable! Loved the afternoon sun on the back deck and having a fire pit out front in the evening. A bonus that it’s dog friendly! Christina was very responsive and helpful. We hope to be back again!

This location was absolutely stunning. Host was very responsive and even had a little welcome packet with all the information you would need, including local resteraunt reccomendations!

Our stay at the cottage was exactly what myself and my two girls needed for the weekend. We had a couple small issues but Paul was very responsive and sent his handyman Mark over in the morning. Mark was very helpful and even let us borrow life jackets for our paddle boards since we forgot the kids jackets. Ordered takeout from the restaurant and it was SUPERB. Easy, convenient and delicious. Thank you, we will definitely be back, hopefully with nicer weather next time!

Moss Hill Cabin was just what we needed for our first family skiing trip. Paige made sure the heating was on and it was welcoming when we arrived and provided local knowledge on where to eat etc. The house was exactly as described and had everything we could need to ensure our trip was enjoyable. Thanks Paige! Hopefully we will return.

Amazing stay! The cabin is peaceful, spotless, and fully stocked. Check-in was easy, and Nadine was super responsive. We had so much fun exploring the area—Storyland and the summit of (snowy) Mt. Washington were highlights, and an easy drive! So thankful our 14-year-old cattle dog, Maggie, was welcome too—she loved it!

We had a lovely stay! The cabin was rustic and comfortable, and a nice little walk from the lake!

We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful spot by the river. The serene setting made it easy to unplug and relax—exactly what we were looking for. Everything was just as described, and the calm surroundings made for a perfect escape. I’ll definitely recommend this place to friends and others!

The hosts were so nice and able to get us this place very last minute! They were super understanding and helpful in giving good recommendations! Lots of hiking in the area and antique stores. Not far from Portland for a fun day trip! Loved hearing the rain come down on the roof too!

Great spot. So peaceful and having a vhs in player and watching old movies was great. The bed was so comfortable and it was so relaxing.

Great place, we spent time relaxing on the screened in porch, very quiet and spacious, the kids loved it, we loved the downstairs space with the arcade, and did some hiking nearby and visited an alpaca farm close by and enjoyed the lake

Exceeded my expectations. It’s exactly as described, a cozy guest cottage in the host’s private backyard with a lovely screened in porch. The lake was beautiful, and just access was directly across from the driveway. I plan to return 100%. Dennis and Shiela made us feel right at home, and ready for any requests, and lovely conversation. Thanks for hosting us!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and had a very special stay. The place is even better than the pictures and the history of the cabin is very interesting as well. Steve and Rebecca were responsive, accommodating, informative, and warm. The location is walkable, safe, and also private, putting you far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk or drive. We used the space heaters and were perfectly comfortable for sleep and there are AC units for warmer seasons. We’d love to come back for our next Maine visit!

Our stay at Dave's cabin on Great East Lake was even more wonderful than i thought it would be! My daughter's and I just loved our adorable cabin. We enjoyed having camp fires at night, the waterfront game room with pool table, ping pong and more. We enjoyed the SUPs, kayaks and swimming to the raft. Fun and relaxing describes our stay. Thank you Dave, MB, dogs Tini, and Biker. We will recommend this place again and again!
