Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Olhos de Água

Alain is a great host, the communication was great, answered all questions swiftly, The location is perfect, just a 5 min walk to all the bars and clubs & beach. the roof top balcony over looks the old town. we went in June 4 of us, was lovley and hot from morning to night. I love what Portugal 🇵🇹 has to offer.

We had a fantastic stay! The house is even more beautiful in person—bright, spacious, and very well-equipped. The view is stunning and the area is super calm, perfect for relaxing. Plenty of towels were available, the sofa bed was large and very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor amenities were a big plus: the pool was top-notch, the BBQ area was great, and we loved having access to the padel court and ping pong table. The location was ideal—easy to get Ubers and close to everything. The host was extremely responsive and kind, even allowing us a flexible checkout until 1pm and going out of his way to get us an additional coffee machine to match our Dolce Gusto pods. A few minor downsides: there was only one key for the group, which wasn’t always convenient, some door handles were a bit fragile, and the automatic watering system occasionally caught us by surprise. Overall, highly recommended—great value, great place, and a wonderful host!

Quando o simples é Luxo . casa de praia para quem gosta de estadias autênticas e procura umas ferias descansadas com os pés na areia. O anfitrião Paulo foi sempre prestavel e atencioso. A casinha de praia é antiga mas está optimamente preservada, totalmente equipada e limpa. parabéns

Fantastic place. Nice and clean. Easy access, close to the Marina and not far at all from Old/New Towns. We didn’t need to contact host during our stay as everything was in place. Nice sized living room and great patio.

We stayed in Rafaels villa for a month, and we would return in a heartbeat. Our stay felt like home from home. The villa is spotless and beautifully decorated with everything we needed (no feedback required), and the garden is the perfect private and peaceful place to relax (Pics do not do justice). Great location with restaurants, and supermarkets a short stroll away, and the marina and Albufeira town a very short drive. Our host was friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond with tips, guidance and thought we were crazy with the amount we used his bikes. A definite recommendation if you manage to get availability.

El apartamento es tal cual aparece en el anuncio, super bonito, perfecto para unos días de desconexión. solo se oye la naturaleza. en coche está muy cerca de la playa y de restaurantes. así que es perfecto! Paula fue súper agradable desde el primer momento. lo reservamos de un día para otro y se encargo de tenerlo todo listo a la mayor brevedad y siempre en contacto con nosotros para lo que necesitaramos. la recomiendo 100%. aunque no pudimos conocernos personalmente estoy segura que volveremos pronto! sitios así no se encuentran todos los días !😊

We absolutely loved our stay at Mónica and Carlo’s place! We were so close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There was so much to do within a few minutes walk. The house was even better than the pictures and Monica and Carlo’s reached out throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, great house and hosts. Would love to come back again!

Great place right on the sand of a beautiful beach, with a short ferry ride into old town Faro. Ideal location.

We had a wonderful stay in Leonel and Aude’s apartment. The apartment itself has everything you could want, was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Communication throughout was superb, super clear instructions, easy to check in and very responsive to any queries or requests. Another fantastic week in Olhos and would not hesitate to book this apartment again.

ótima estadia, no centro de albufeira

Marks place was perfect for us to explore the local area with our toddler. The apartment is beautiful and exactly as described. We loved having the pool to use but safely out of the way of the apartment. Mark was very friendly and responsive throughout and was on hand for any questions. We walked to the local beach and the rock pools were fantastic at low tide to play in. We had a hire car to explore further afield but could have happily done everything on foot locally too. Thank you mark!

Host was very responsive & met us to walk us into the place. The photo for check in needed updating, it’s now at KK’s Thai Massage for a more accurate entrance area, but we rented a car and had free parking right in front (limited but got lucky!) Place was very clean and the balcony was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and resting at night. We walked to all the shops, pleasantly surprised just how much there was to do around! We ate at Terrazo Italian, incredible food! Beach was beautiful, definitely don’t suggest having a large suitcase tho for parking or elevator access :) Otherwise host was super nice, place was super clean & definitely bang for the buck for an air bnb.

Wir haben uns in Marias Appartement sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Terrasse ist mit Sonnenschirm, Liegestuhl und einem bequemen Sofa ausgestattet, was wir sehr gerne genutzt haben. Wir haben in dem riesigen Bett sehr gut geschlafen. Das Appartement liegt in einer älteren Ferienwohnanlage in Strandnähe. Wir haben es sehr genossen, dass die Anlage kaum frequentiert war und es dadurch sehr ruhig war. Die Traumstrände in der Umgebung sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Im Ort gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants und einen Supermarkt, um sich zu versorgen. Maria und ihr Mann sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die für unser Wohl gesorgt haben. Vielen Dank dafür!

Das Appartement war sehr schön und modern eingerichtet und geräumig. Wir waren zu dritt. Alles war sehr sauber und es war alles da, was man für einen tollen Aufenthalt braucht ( gut ausgestattete Küche, Gartenmöbel...). Andre, der Gastgeber reagiert sofort auf Anfragen und schafft Abhilfe. Das Appartement befindet sich in einer schön angelegten Anlage mit mehreren Pools. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, tolle Restaurants und Stränden in der Nähe.

Best thing about this place is the location. It’s right in the center for the busy and bustling Albufeira downtown with its night life (if you’re into that) yet is also very quiet and peaceful. The room was a modern studio, just like the pictures, no complaints!

We had a wonderful stay and the photos really don’t do this place justice. The pool and surroundings are absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Jorge was incredibly helpful and responsive, and the apartment was perfect for our family of four. We would love to stay again.

We would recommend this to anyone looking for a first class apartment in a fairly quiet location. The top floor balcony gives access for al fresco dining, sunbathing and evening chilling. The views are simply stunning. the apartment is perfectly located for a few bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. all literally outside your main door. The apartment itself is modern, spacious and perfect. we've stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and this ranks as one of the very best. also the downloadable instructions to get in are fool proof!! thank you

Tive uma estadia excelente neste apartamento — limpo, confortável e muito bem localizado. Tudo correspondeu às fotos e expectativas. O anfitrião foi super atencioso e prestativo. Recomendo sem hesitar e voltaria com certeza!

Fabulous Penthouse apartment, so very close to the beach and restaurants. Perfect location. Elisa, our host was super attentive, providing all the information we needed to ensure that our short break was a peaceful and relaxing experience. We had an early flight into Faro so Elisa arranged our transport ( Carlos was brilliant) and let us drop our bags off so we could get some lunch without the bother of dragging cases around. Elisa then messaged us at 1pm saying we could get in early as the penthouse was ready. During our stay Elisa made light touches to check that everything was ok which was most welcomed. A perfect host. Highly recommended.

Carlota’s place is located in amazing Villa with beautiful surroundings! Amazing beaches to get to and her local recommendations were excellent ! The pool was great but unfortunately due to the weather it was a bit too cold to use and shower facilities were under construction. The only downside is the bed option, as described from the picture, the main bedroom is with 2 twin beds and a sofa bed. One big bed would’ve been more comfortable but breathtakingly beautiful view makes everything ok. We had some issue with laundry machine as it wasn’t in a good condition but we cleaned it and bought strong scent laundry detergent made it usable again! Wonderful memories from the beautiful landscape and activities and especial thanks to warm and heart full neighbor downstairs! Thank you again and it was a pleasant stay!

I really appreciate the stay here. Marika was very responsive and the place exactly what was promised. Marika even was able to accommodate a later check out due to timing of the next guest…we were so grateful. We would return if we are ever in the area!
