Lovely, charismatic cottage with a great garden. The wharthogs greeting is during breakfast at the porch and the Calabas monkeys in the trees, and the fireplace were highlights. The bed is big, which is great. Frankly was lovely.

Quite possibly the most unique Airbnb listing I’ve stayed at by far. The Watch Tower is so uniquely located, with animals around you at almost all times. In our short stay, we spotted zebras, giraffes, hippos, various birds and gazelles. The home with all its amenities was efficiently compact, the bathroom was extremely clean, and the outdoor shower was the cherry on the cake. I would return here any day, for the views, the vastness of the Sanctuary farm, and for everything it has to offer.

We had such a lovely weekend at Sarah's cottage — it really felt like a home away from home! The view was absolutely stunning, and the best part is that it’s just a short walk from some great restaurants. Sarah truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, sharing fantastic recommendations for local dining and fun activities. This charming place is only a short stroll from the lake, where you can enjoy Fisherman's Camp for a drink on the veranda or visit Camp Carnelleys for a delicious meal. Plus, Hellsgate National Park is just down the road, ready for exploration. Personally, I enjoyed spending my time relaxing on the veranda, immersing myself in a good book, and taking in the breathtaking views of the lake! I did see some comments on Airbnb about the access road to the cottage being a bit tricky, but honestly, it’s really not bad at all. The short stretch on a dirt track is manageable for any car, provided you drive at a slow pace.

We enjoyed our night at Fleur's bus and could have happily stayed longer. We were welcomed warmly by Fleur's parents, as well as Nancy and Alex. We loved the outside shower and the evening campfire. It is a great glamping spot, providing that sense of being outside and in nature, all with the luxury of a comfortable bed in a unique bedroom. We hope to return again in the future.
