Entire one-room rental. We recommend it for single or double use, but it can accommodate up to 3 people with the addition of 1 extra bed (* separate consultation required). The first floor of the 2-story building is the accommodation. The entrance is independent. On the 2nd floor, "ROYAL HAWAIIAN CAFE THE PINK" will open on May 13, 2024 (managed by a different owner). When you leave the room and go up the embankment, you can enjoy Lake Biwa right in front of you, the mountains of Hiei and Hira on the other side, the sunrise and sunset on the lake, and the fantastic scenery that changes with the time and season. Jogging and walking along the embankment and cycling along the lakeside road are also recommended!!! Long stays and business trips are also welcome! Please don't hesitate to contact us if you'd like to use it. There is a large shopping mall [Pieri] within a 5-minute walk, a supermarket, a 100 yen shop, a food court, an open-air bath overlooking Lake Biwa, and a day-use hot spring "Mizu Haru" where you can enjoy a variety of baths and saunas. ◎ As a measure against infection and hygiene, we have prepared antibacterial treatment for the walls, floors, ceilings, etc. in the room, air purifiers, and vacuum cleaners. ◎ Free WiFi is available. ◎ Security cameras are installed in the parking lot. ◎ Children up to 12 years old sleeping with parents stay for free.

Mimaki in the Suzuka Mountains of Shiga Prefecture. Hino-cho's townscape is also nostalgic and heartwarming, In the corner of such a town, "Mt. Moiwa Village" was born in the first year of the Reiwa Dynasty. The accommodation is limited to one group. Storage site: The Western-style room can be used by 3 people, with 2 beds and 1 folding bed, and the Japanese-style room can accommodate 3 people with Japanese futons, for a total of up to 6 people. Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
