Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Oostkamp

We booked the place as a base to explore Bruges, which is a 15-20 min dive away. The place felt better than what the photos conveyed. Really appreciated the detailed drive in, parking and check in instructions. We enjoyed some leisurely walk in the countryside and the peaceful vibe of the place. Now to nitpick, the industrial vibe kitchen did not resonate well with rest of the home :-)

We had a very nice time over a long weekend with several generations. Super nice house with a great garden. We had rain and sunshine and both are equally beautiful! If you like it cozy, just throw the fireplace on. The immediate area is great for beautiful walks. A mini supermarket is 7 minutes' walk away, where you can find really delicious chocolate croissants🤗. The house lacks nothing and it is super cozy and perfectly divided. We'll be back!

A truly appreciated wellness break! The night with spa was a beautiful experience: quiet, clean and very well furnished. The spa was ready when we arrived, perfect for relaxing in privacy. Everything was designed for comfort, and the welcome was very pleasant. We leave rested and delighted!

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. Peaceful, rural, modern and opening out to all the beauty surrounding it. Very well equipped kitchen! A couple of small issues due to being in the country, but Laura was very responsive, and it would certainly not put us off returning

Grogery and Marieke were very friendly and super responsive Hosts. We had a small problem which they corrected directly and super quick. The House is lovely and has everything you wish for. If we come near Bruges again we will try to stay here again.

What a great stay! The house is super spacious and neat, with a private bathroom in each bedroom – super convenient. The sauna was wonderful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was clean and cared for. The garden with petanque court and the cute alpacas were really the icing on the cake. Also nice: a charging point for our electric car! Carine responded quickly to all our questions. Bruges and Ghent are easily accessible. We really enjoyed it!

Beautiful house, very clean, modern amenities, one of the best places we've stayed. Gerda and Sigfried offered early check in, left a lot of food/snacks for us to enjoy. The house is spotless, even cooking tools and utensils appear new which is usually hard to find in Airbnb. The owners take care of the house as it was their own. The location is very quiet, a outside the center but it can be easily reached by bus or ~30min walk. Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 arrived by train and easily walked to and found the apartment with the excellent directions from Eefje & Nicolas. It took no longer than 10 minutes. The location can’t be beat as we took the train for a few days trips and the proximity to the old town was an easy 15-20 minute walk. There is a binder full of useful information about the accommodation as well as restaurants, places to visit etc. We loved that everything has pictures making it very easy to follow instructions for whatever we needed to do including changing the temperature and where everything is laid out in all the cupboards and drawers. It was very helpful. The apartment was very spacious and as pictured. We found it to be very clean and appreciated the drying racks as we did some laundry in town while we were here. It was nice to have a charging station all with extra cables if needed. Eefje & Nicolas were excellent and responsive hosts who answered all our questions before we arrived.

a green screen 10 minutes from the center of Bruges. We really enjoyed the calm of the place with the feeling of being in the middle of nature and yet, very close to amenities and very easy and quick access to visit Bruges or Damme. We recommend this property

Communication with Tine was excellent from the very beginning. The view of the sea and the sky... every sunset in the sea is different every day... incredibly beautiful. The apartment is very lovingly and tastefully furnished and very well renovated. It was also handed over really perfectly clean, everything smelled... it is also absolutely practical to have a garage space for the apartment. You can really feel at home in the apartment. Tine is full of warmth and helpfulness. She gives wonderful tips for the area. What do I say? It doesn't get any better 🙂👍🏼🍀❣️

A great spot and attentive helpful host! Roomy clean and well equipped, including bicycles to use and beer in the fridge. Siggie is super helpful and answered questions immediately. Highly recommended!

The apartment is fantastically located and perfectly and high-quality equipped. The view of the sea from the master bedroom and the kitchen means that you will not want to leave the apartment. Even in bad weather, you can enjoy your stay. There are two small bedrooms, the large master bedroom with an open bathroom (there is also a toilet here), the large kitchen, a bathroom (with shower and washbasin without toilet) and a separate toilet. Two balconies complete the apartment perfectly, both with seating. There were even blankets in case it was cool outside or you wanted to cover yourself on the sofa. The amenities leave nothing to be desired: there was even a blender and a citrus press, but a few more bath towels would have been nice. The children had fun with the game console, the two garages and the elevator offered uncomplicated (and dry) access to the apartment. Hans was a courteous host!

We had a lovely stay at the guesthouse! It was very cosy, had lots of charming features and was ideally located to explore the city of Bruges. Everything was in easy walking distance. Amaryllis was brilliant to communicate with, when we had an issue at check-in (our error) she picked it up immediately and was very accommodating. The recommendations for local restaurants etc. were great, we went to a couple of places and enjoyed them both.

The space is insanely beautiful! I did say "as in the photos," but in real life it was even more beautiful. We felt very comfortable for three nights. The location is great, the whole city center is within walking distance from there. The accommodation is located in a street that perfectly represents the ambience of Bruges. A car can be parked in a nearby parking garage (for a fee, with self-booking). Jonas (host) was easily accessible digitally and is very friendly in communication. The price is absolutely justified in the entire price-performance ratio (location, cleanliness, amenities, etc.). We'll be happy to come back sometime!

Bruges is a very compact city,and nearly all of the key attractions are just a short stroll from the apartment. We had a bulky/heavy suitcase which made the stairs up to the apartment a bit challenging and there are no cooking facilities, but that was made clear in the description, and everything else was perfectly fine. We would happily return, and highly recommend the apartment to other couples.

The flat is super cute and located in a great location. It’s close to all central attractions with paid parking just 3 mins away as described. Also charged at the lot which was helpful with my EV. It is on a main road so can be a bit noisy, but I’d absolutely recommend this place and stay here again.

We loved our stay. Sara was very responsive. Check-in was easy, and the stairs were easy to navigate. The location is outstanding with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and retail stores. It is a very spacious apartment, and there was plenty of room for our group. We felt at home even though we stayed just 5 nights. When return to Ghent, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great week in Mylène's apartment. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and the bedding in the bedroom is very comfortable. The terrace is spacious and the sea view is beautiful. On sunny days, it is a pure pleasure to enjoy this beautiful terrace. For the grayer and windier days, you can continue to enjoy the beautiful sea view from inside the apartment. If you like to watch the sea "live", this is the perfect place. Mylène's welcome is warm and she ensures that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We'll most certainly be back!

My girlfriend and I had a one night stay and the attic had such a romantic, warm and cozy vibe. Truly amazing. We decided to just make food there and hang out. I’m a big fan of plants and that made this stay extra nice and inspiring due the beautiful plants the attic has! The check in, the parking and the checkout was very easy. Also their communication was fast en spot on, everything was very clear and easy. The location was not central and we didn’t go out so I can’t say anything about that.

Everything was great. The studio is clean, very nicely furnished and the view of the sea is fantastic. The surroundings are also very quiet, right on the beach and you can fall asleep with the sound of the sea... we enjoyed it very much and had a great stay.

We spent a long weekend in Ostend. This apartment is great for that. Liesbeth is a great host and is quick to reach. The apartment has its own parking space, which is very convenient. We received great instructions on how to find the apartment and the keys. As a result, none of this was a problem. The apartment was well equipped and perfectly located, so it is very quiet in the apartment and you can quickly get to the center and the beach. Thanks for the great stay!

Our stay in Grace's apartment was great. She was very flexible with the arrival and departure time and very helpful with the parking option. In addition, Grace was also a warm host with nice touches and good tips. It is also a very nice, spacious apartment where everything you need is present. Also, a visit to Grace's Mexican restaurant is recommended. Very tasty food! Finally, you are a five-minute walk from the beach, and a five-minute walk from the shopping street. Top spot! We will definitely return if we were in Blankenberge again!
