A refrigerator, a freezer, and a new bathroom are the latest additions. Hallingstugu is located on an actively operated farm with cows, sheep, and free-range chickens. In the outdoor area, there is plenty of space for skiing and sledding. Popular nearby attractions include Nesfjellet Alpine Resort, golf, Nystølkroken Café, Langedrag Nature Park, and an extensive network of cross-country skiing trails. Everything is within a few kilometers by car.

Experience beautiful nature at a cozy mountain farm cabin! The cabin is located on the edge of the forest with a view of the entire Østre Gausdal. Lots of hiking opportunities both in summer and winter right outside the door. About 1 km on skis through the forest to the Skeikampen trail network. The cabin has 5 beds, plus a pull-out bed, an equipped kitchen, a heat pump, a wood-burning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bed linen and towels included. You must have a 4x4 in winter. 15 minutes to the city center and Skeikampen, 30 minutes to Lillehammer and 45 minutes to Hunderfossen.

The cabin is a perfect starting point for trips both inwards and outwards of the fjord if you want to experience more of the beautiful surrounding area. A real gem for those who want to find peace in idyllic western Norwegian nature.

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
