Harehytta by the river

Rustic and homely little cabin right by the river. Very simple standard (no bath/water toilet), only outdoor toilet and outdoor shower (only during summer) with cold water. Water jugs with drinking water and water for cleaning/cooking are available. Here you wake up from river buzz and birdsong. The cabin has a garden, a fireplace and a path to the river with a swimming area during the summer. Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on a leash as the property is not fully fenced. Bed linen and towels are included. Wood for the wood-burning stove is available.

Kårstua at Viken Fjellgård, right next to fishing lake

An hour's drive from Lillehammer, Viken Fjellgård is idyllically located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, where you can enjoy peace and quiet. Our guests can use our boat and canoe freely, or enjoy the jetty with swimming, fishing and fire pit. You can cycle, go on mountain hikes right out of the farm, rustle in the woods, or walk on the trails around the water. In late summer and autumn, you can pick mushrooms and berries. It takes 10 minutes to drive from the farm to the high mountains, and from the parking lot about an hour's walk to Langsua National Park.

Idyllic and quiet waterfront location

Very pretty cabin in bright, warm colors with good standards. The cabin is located by itself in a quiet bay, but still has a central location with short distance (shortcut on foot) to Eina city center with shop (Kiwi), public transport (bus and train), and other services. Car road (stewed) all the way up. Good hiking opportunities for foot, bike and cross-country skiing. Einafjorden is an excellent fishing water in both summer and winter. There is a row-boat by the private pier, and fishinggear in the annex by the water. Ski in, ski out! You can ski, walk or bicycle all the way througt the forest to Kikut/Oslo if you like! Welcome to the cozy Veslestua from about 1800 on our patio. Beautifully situated with a view to Mjøsa, Norway's largest lake. Good bus and train connections. The house is an old log house that invites you to cosy and cosy. Low under the roof and with painted panel inside. Comfortable windows in all rooms. In the kitchen you will find everything you need of tools to prepare a meal, dishes, bowls and dishes, and a rich drawers with cutlery and tools. Kitchen towels and cloths are provided .

Nesbyen - Cozy cabin by the Hallingdalselva river

Cabin for up to 4 guests with Hallingdalselva as the closest neighbour. Nice outdoor area and rowboat and kayaks for free use in summer. Guests can bring bed linen and towels themselves, and clean the cabin before departure. Or final cleaning can be arranged and left to us at an additional cost NOK 600,- and bed linen/towels are rented NOK 125,- per person. The cabin is newly renovated in the winter of 23/24, with, among other things, a new bathroom and kitchen with dishwasher.

Villa Leonore: Cottage with beachfront on Helgøya

For those who really want to experience the best Helgøya has to offer. Villa Leonore is a summerhouse built for Tram Director Dybwad's wife Leonore in 1915. A cozy garden leads down to its own beach at Mjøsa. Lovely perennial bed and a private kitchen garden to prepare in. You can relax on the porch with a good book, and cook delicious local and organic food, with the farm and area's own produce. There are great hiking opportunities at Helgøya, for walking, running and biking.

Østerdalsstue at Kvebergshaugen

The house is located on a farm with sheep and dog, next to the house where we ourselves live. The farm is located about 4 km south of Alvdal center, and there is a short way to both hiking areas and fishing opportunities. The house is a restored 19th century Ostrodal living room and the kitchen is well equipped (including microwave, kettle, coffee maker, juicer and dishwasher). Cleaning fee of €30 only covers preparation of rental unit and not final cleaning.
