We loved our stay at Serena’s house, it had everything we needed and had a great yard for our 4 yr old to explore.

Ryan was very friendly. He helped us in helping and asking care of all thing we had during our stay. Nice view on the backside deck. Jacuzzi added more beauty to our view

Stunning place to stay and relax with or without kids. Theres lots of space, plenty of beds too. The view is absolutely stunning and the spa pool is such a great addition to the place. I would recommend that you take lots of food for the duration of your stay as the nearest supermaket is quite a drive away. They do have a yummy fish and chip shop and a dairy for your daily needs :) absolutely worth staying here!

I loved staying here so much. So beautiful, right on the beach, can't ask for better than that. The view from the deck and inside was so nice. You can hear the waves inside the unit. The cable bay store is very close. Such a lovely place in the far north. I would love to stay here again.

Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, peaceful location. House was spotless and had everything you needed. Multiple outside zones to enjoy the nature and water views. Super private and only a 7 min drive to the heart of Russell.

Stunning week away over Easter. We arrived a few hours after a cyclone, which meant no power and water. Anneke was great with all communication about the situation. We chose to stay hoping the power would be back on soon. The next day it was. Meanwhile, Anneke bought us wine and coffee and then arranged a generator so we could shower and charge phones etc. Then we had six glorious days of sunshine with the odd shower. We love walking, so explored all the local walks in the booklets and info guide. Every afternoon we relaxed on the deck just watching the ocean and boats. We ended our days with an outdoor bath, which was Devine. Anneke was a wonderful host. A true legend. The Bach was beautiful, clean, new and private. Highly recommend.

Wonderful bach, secluded (except for a cute weka in the garden) and with beautiful views over the bay. Kitchen well stocked and comfy beds. Would highly recommend!

The cottage was packed with character, you could imagine the fun families had there in the past. It was decorated to celebrate the history of the cottage and the area. The beds were comfortable, great laundry and bathroom. A wonderful social area. If you like a typical bach to stay in, this is perfect. Jo-Ann greeted us when we arrived and was very helpful. We will be back.

Chris and Garth were kind, responsive and welcoming hosts. We booked short notice and they had the room ready early and even thought to make up the extra bed when they learnt I had a teen travelling with me. The space itself is lovely. It is bigger than it appears in the photos, and is extremely well equipped with entertainment, full sized furniture for just a couple or a small family, and the most beautiful gardens to relax in. The bnb is set well away from the house, so it feels private, and the garden setting makes everything feel so tranquil! Location is 10/10 and if you have a fur baby travelling with you, it will be well taken care of too! Ours loved exploring the gardens as well as the beautiful local walks along the river. We are excited to make a yearly trip back to this accomodation.

Very comfortable little place with a ton of nice little touches like artwork, good appliances, comfortable outdoor seating. Very close to the beach and the estuary. Even if you aren't a dog person, the dogs are so well behaved and quiet, they occasionally will visit you and you can give them a pat if you like.

Great location with amazing view. Modern house with everything you need. Really liked the fully enclosed yard, very safe and private. Beautiful sunny spot on the doorstep of so many great things to do and see. Very convenient access to shops for essentials. Highly recommended Marks place and Coopers Beach for a great family holiday.

Our stay at Margaret & Lou’s property amazing. As myself and my partner are visiting my parents who live in another part of Northland and we wanted them to see Paihia which they did as we had the most amazing views. Thank you ☺️

Absolutely stunning location, almost able to cast fishing rod from the deck. The cottage is spotlessly clean and tidy with everything we needed for a great stay. Beds are comfy, house is furnished with a beautiful collection on antiques and vintage memorabilia… a real blast from the past. Great washing machine and dryer, good internet for those that need to keep up with work. Can’t say enough… Richard is the absolute perfect host. Met us at the property to welcome us and explain everything, he provided us with info about the history of Mabel’s cottage. About 5-7 minutes walk to Mangonui Village. Awesome place. This home is awesome, so close to everything and has everything you need. Unfortunately, the pool heating wasn't playing ball but we were able to take advantage of the spa.

This was the most lovely accommodation! It was clean, well-appointed, and had the most beautiful view of the Bay. Wendy communicated well, and provided easy instructions for entry into the car park, and from there, into the apartment. Our two night stay was extremely quiet, which we expected, given it's not the high season, yet there was still enough going on about town that we never wanted for something to do! The location was absolutely ideal, as all businesses were within very easy, close-in walking distance. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer, and we'll definitely look to return!

Andrea and Mike were very kind and responsive. The couple run the place rather efficiently and respond to the customers' requests very quickly. We found that the ensuite bathroom was a little smelly and the hosts were trying all their means to eliminate the odour for us and even offered to switch to another available suite for us - surely they care for their customers. Thank you Andrea and Mike, we had a great time at the kohinui cottage! Kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, amazing place to be!

Amazing views, exceptional place and Jeff is a great host. This was a very memorable relaxing holiday. We hope to visit this stunning place again sometime soon!!

We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

Lani was very friendly and helpful. She made sure we were all informed about the property and amenities. 5 star ⭐ Host !!

I booked this accommodation for my colleagues, and it was perfect for their needs while working away from home. The communication with the hosts was excellent and made the booking process and any adjustments extremely smooth and easy. I would definitely book again in the future.
