Holiday rentals with a patio in Oranmore

John’s sanctuary in Lisdoonvarna is 100%, hands down, the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The location is very out of the way in the best way - it felt so peaceful and was the perfect way to take in the Irish countryside. We received great hospitality from John, from check-in, which he assisted with on site, to local recommendations and prompt responses via chat. We will definitely plan another stay at this place again when in the area.

Lovely place to stay and very spacious for 3 travelers. It’s not quite in city center but close enough to walk. The nearby Tesco made it easy to buy groceries and other items.

Nicely furnished, comfy beds, great TV and excellent location, right by the brilliant Glynn’s pub. Lots of other places to eat and drink close by and just a short journey into Galway too.

Olivia sent us pictures of the house the day before arrival and exact explanations of how to find the house, where the key box is and so on. When we arrived, we were totally thrilled with the apartment from the first moment, it was furnished exactly as described. Very nice, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom happened to be exactly like our furnishing style at home. This immediately gave us a "feeling of home". The apartment was above average well equipped. There were several varieties of tea, shower gels, shampoo, conditioner - hand soap from Rituals, there were adapter plugs & hairspray, in addition a nice cozy wool blanket. We got to know Olivia personally on the day of departure and had a very pleasant and pleasant conversation with her. We would recommend the apartment and Olivia as a landlady at any time. We really enjoyed our time there.

This place looked just like the pictures - actually it was bigger than we expected!! Beautiful location, super clean. Full kitchen was perfect for any kind of cooking we wanted to do. Absolutely lovely and would return!!

The house was very cosy, nicely decorated, and in a great location—just a 20-minute drive from downtown Galway. It was also very kid friendly! Our 3-year-old son had a great time playing with the toys and exploring the house. The place had all the equipment you need, and we really appreciated the little thoughtful touches.

Access codes were confusing “to me”. However host was available at the drop of a hat to assist. 😊☘️

A perfect base to explore beautiful Kinvarra and the area. Spacious, conveniently located with free, easy parking to boot! Everything we ever needed - great pubs, grocery store, farmer’s market - was right outside our front door. We loved walking around the town and chatting with locals in this picturesque seaside town. Super comfy bed, tons of space, and we even used the kitchenette to make a homemade soup! Would recommend a car if you’re staying as the bus isn’t super reliable, but otherwise a lovely, lovely stay!! ❤️

We had a wonderful relaxing time at Atlantic Sunset . The accommodation was just perfect for our family gathering of 8 adults and 3 children . The house is in a great location with plenty of off road parking spaces . Doolin is a fabulous place and our highlights included strolling around the pretty town , enjoying the atmosphere , music & food in some lovely pubs , and taking the free shuttle bus to the incredible Cliffs of Mohr - this is a must see attraction and using the shuttle bus gave us free entry to the cliffs too 😄 We also really enjoyed the Doolin Caves and would recommend a tour . Annmarie was a great host who responded so quickly to any queries we had . Thank you again we would definitely recommend a stay here .

My family visited Galway and we were lucky to find Mary's house to stay during our visit! The location was absolutely perfect, with walking distance to main attractions, but also on a quiet street. The house is beautiful, with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Mary is a wonderful host and appreciate the open communication. Would 100% recommend a stay at Mary's place!!!

This is the best house we've ever stayed in Ireland. The host is very considerate. The house is clean and tidy. The bedding is very good. We feel very comfortable. All daily necessities are fully equipped. It is close to the supermarket. The dining room and kitchen space is large. If I have the opportunity to come here again, I will definitely choose John's house again.

My friends and I had a magnificent stay, we had everything we needed and the house was so clean and cosy. Beds were extremely comfortable. The views around the house were stunning with natural beauty everywhere. We would love to go back again.

I’ve traveled to many countries across the world and stayed and numerous Airbnbs. Tappy’s Cottage is definitely in my top 3. What a charming cottage. It was perfect for a slow morning on the second half of our journey through Ireland. Theresa was also an amazing host. She was easy to communicate with and was kind enough to leave snacks and essentials for our arrival. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. What an amazing little place!

Lovely apartment in a private complex! It was centrally located in a great part of town but still felt secluded and private. Perfect space for our stay and for our large group! We loved that the bedrooms were spaced out on multiple floors. The hosts were lovely and communicative. Instructions for check-in were super detailed. Overall, a great stay!

We liked the little cottage in the middle of a wonderful garden with a lot of peace. It is lovingly equipped, with everything we needed and many attractions are easily accessible from there. Conny is a very friendly hostess who greeted us, said goodbye and provided us with many helpful tips (also with delicious cookies :). It was a pleasure for us to stay there and we would definitely come back.

A fantastic location with views in every direction, each very special and therefore never boring. A good starting point for several (hiking) tours. Get tips on this, too. Sun (if you shine) from morning to evening at or in the house. We have already decided after a few days that we want to come back next year. To relax and unwind one of the best accommodations I know. And don't worry about the driveway, is really absolutely doable and does not require a special car or a special driver.

Lovely place a few minutes walk to a handful of great pubs and restaurants. Apartment was clean and well stocked with extra towels, etc. Great communication from Fiona prior to our stay which included lots of useful suggestions on things to do and places to see in the area.

Prime location, prime service! Visiting from Las Vegas, NV, We know hospitality. Eamonn’s space surpassed our expectations, the cleanliness and amenities provided made us comfortable and allowed us to be on the go. The space is centrally located so you could experience Galway at any time of day within a 5 minute walk radius to all the experiences Galway has to offer. You’re also located right by the Aran Ferries port which allowed us to explore Inishmore (Great recommendation by Eamonn) Eamonn’s guidebook had all the best restaurants and best recommendations - make sure you check it out. I’d recommend making dinner reservations ahead of time, it was difficult finding dinner without a reservation at the highly rated dining experiences. Overall, my group truly appreciated and enjoyed this space as our top stay during our travels. Thank you! 🙏

Immaculate. The space was perfect. I didn’t want to touch half of the unit because of how clean it was. James even had many snacks and sundries for us like bread, milk, butter and anything else you needed to make a meal. Walking distance from the city and a perfect place to spend a few days in Galway. If I come back, this is where I’ll be staying. Highly recommend.

A tiny bit squirrely to find with Galway’s one way streets, but once we found it, the host was waiting to show us in and tell us everything we needed to know. Super comfortable space, easily walkable to local attractions, very nice local people. We enjoyed our stay in Galway.

Hosts have worked hard to create a modern space. We especially appreciated the washing machine, dishwasher and walk-in shower. Beautiful country views and a friendly dog that loved our pats. Host Vinny greeted us and made sure we were comfortable.

Lovely place to stay with panoramic views out over the coast. The property was set in a beautiful part of the coast and was very peaceful. I felt right at home in this cozy property. Hope to visit again in the future.
