This property is the original barn that was a part of a farm built in the mid 1800's. The 3 bedroom facility is half of the barn, but renters have use of the immediate property surrounding the barn. There are two horses on the property, which is why we cannot accept pets. This is a modern farmhouse where we repurposed many traditional architectural pieces and antiques to maintain the authenticity of the original barn.

If you’re biking the canal, this is the place to stay. I was riding with my adult daughter and a friend of hers and it worked out perfectly. Incredible communication. Lots of little amenities to support cyclists (the salty treats were perfect after riding on a hot day!). Aaron even had clear recommendations for dinner for places we could walk to. Would definitely stay here again - Great host!

Absolutely lovely little cottage. A huge plus was the fenced in yard for our pups! It was great just being able to open a door and not have to leash them every time. We enjoyed walking around the little area. The cottage was beautifully decorated and I could live there full time. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be staying here! Also, loved sitting on the porch drinking my coffee and reading my book.

We had such a special family vacation here. The view was incredible and the hosts did so much to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The house was stocked with everything we needed (plus extras!) and the hosts were wonderfully communicative and easily reachable. We were so thankful for the highchair and pack-and-play for our kiddo, and were able to cook fabulous meals. The bed was fantastic, the wi-fi worked splendidly, and a lovely little park is just a short walk away. It was an excellent stay and we will definitely return next time we visit the area—highly recommend!

Maureen was proactive in giving us recommended many restaurants and venues prior to our arrival and when we arrived there were tons more. She and Darcy were very friendly and attentive. Carl & Meg are super hosts in our opinion! Cottage was spotless, well organized and helpful notes detailing where to find everything. We only used the master bedroom and the bed was sooo comfortable - memory foam, I think! Kitchen fully equipped, furniture very comfortable, ate meals on deck overlooking Lake Ontario! Nice large walk-in shower and more towels than we could possibly use. We highly recommend “Megaritaville”!! Thank you for sharing!! Dee & Don

Very nice apartment. It was exactly what we were looking for. We could easily walk to Main Street. We were only there one night. There was definitely a lot to do if you were staying for a few days. The electronic board was absolutely a fun time. My husband and I haven’t played most of this games in years. You won’t be sorry. Just book it! 🙂
