We stayed here for 1.5 wks around d holidays with our 2 toddlers. We loved the walkable neighborhood, close to trolley and the park. The place itself is beautiful and includes extra amenities. Hosts are very responsive and kind. Highly recommend!

Vilna was a kind, friendly, and helpful host. My friend and I felt very comfortable and her place and she was very helpful getting us things we needed like more water for the apartment. The area around her home felt safe and accessible and we happily made the 20-25 minute walk to Jazzfest every morning! If you are used to staying in affluent neighborhoods with manicured lawns, streetlights and perfectly aligned sidewalks -- this neighborhood and area may not be up your alley. But if you want to have the most authentic conversations with people on their porches, see the real New Orleans, and get a taste of the seventh ward leaving with the embrace of the NOLA people, don't miss a stay with VILNA!

My husband and I will never stay anywhere else in Bay St. Louis. We’ve stayed other places and Joy’s house and its location is by far the best! The Compass Rose is lovely and the pictures do not do her place justice. It is historic and has such a lovely charm and energy to it. Joy provided us with everything we needed for our last minute stay. We wanted for nothing. The bed is so comfortable, everything is very clean, the towels are plush and Joy is such a great host! We loved chatting with her and learning more about the area, her historic home that survived hurricane Katrina and connecting. We felt very fortunate to stay at your place Joy! Thank you!

This is our fourth stay here and we love it! Truly feels like home. Mrs. Ann is a wonderful host! The cottage has all you need including a small kitchen area, full size refrigerator, washer and dryer, beach toys, bikes etc. It is such a cute and cozy place, and the neighborhood is perfect for walks to local restaurants or the beach. Shopping, a park with sidewalks, restaurants, coffee and bakery all close by. Perfect for a relaxing vacation!

Awesome little spot to stay in New Orleans, house was quiet and peaceful. AC worked great and the temperature inside was comfortable. Pool was very needed, nice to cool off after a long day out and about. Hosts were responsive and respectful and private. Ubers were quick and cheap, food around town was amazing. Would 100000% book again.

Cozy little spot to crash for the evening. Very soft bed! Quiet street but close and walkable to many attractions in town. Lots of great recommendations from the host. Also Who Dat Cafe just a block away had amazing breakfast and coffee! Was easy to find street parking near the place and it felt like my car was very safe.

Fred’s place was great. It was quiet, and the location was very convenient to the French Quarter and City Park. Fred was very responsive to my questions and very helpful. Everything was just as described, and the guesthouse was very well stocked. This is a wonderful place for a single traveler. I’d gladly stay here again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Stay! From start to finish, my stay at this Airbnb was super amazing and incredibly comfortable. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt just like home. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make the stay relaxing and easy. The bed was cozy, the atmosphere was peaceful, and everything I needed was right at my fingertips. The neighbors were so friendly and welcoming it really made the whole experience feel even more special. I loved the sense of community. On top of all that, the price was right within my budget, which made it even better. Great value for such a wonderful stay! The host was kind, responsive, and made sure I felt welcome the entire time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and memorable stay!

Ewan's apartment was fun and funky and as a host he was fantastic! I can definitely recommend this listing. The most important things are the A/C works brilliantly, the fridge gets very cold, and the host is super cool. Just be aware, that the bathroom is not attached to the room you're sleeping in, you have to go outside to use the shower and bathroom. However it's a very private area, and Ewan gives you open rain of the backyard, and your privacy. Parking is not a problem as it is not residential parking only. I went through a smaller festival while there, and had absolutely no issues for parking. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. And there's a wonderful neighborhood bar, Pal's four doors down. A really lovely, inviting, immaculate space in a perfect location to access shops and restaurants, and even the charming Saint Charles streetcar. The street itself is beautiful too—tree-lined and oh so quiet. We would 100% stay here again (and hope to, when we're back in town). Thank you so much, Jenna and Andrew!

Adrienne’s place it a gem! Everything is as described and even better in person. We love the neighborhood. Super walkable to so much. The space is beautifully decorated and spacious. The bed is very comfortable too! There’s a cute little outside area, perfect to read or drink coffee ( or whatever ;) I would highly recommend it to anyone going there and would love to stay again.

This cottage on Burgundy Street was an absolute delight! It was charming and clean. The backyard is an oasis with a wonderful cocktail pool to hang out and cool off in. The neighborhood is so walkable. Perfect location for both the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. We met our hosts and they were friendly and helpful. They leave their guests great recommendations for local restaurants and easy directions on how to get around. I have been to NOLA several times and have always stayed in the Quarter, but from now on I will be staying in the Marigny and hopefully in this exact same cottage! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Great home in a great location perfect for 2 people a lot to do and a lot of places to eat whether you are walking or driving steps from magazine street walked to a different coffee shop everyday ez parking about a 20 minute drive to the quarter

Wonderful hospitality - Excellent location and we really enjoyed our stay. Constance was very kind and the unit had everything we needed. I also appreciate the dog friendliness of this Airbnb! Great communication and a seamless experience.

Gwyneth was very responsive. We were in town for our wedding and she was very accommodating towards all our requests and needs. The place is spacious and close to our favorite parts of New Orleans.

Jason's place was the perfect location for my quick visit to NOLA, though I would have gladly stayed longer. Jason was very forthcoming with tips and recommendations as soon as I checked in, which were very helpful for my visit! He and his family were very gracious and welcoming. The apartment was perfect and much larger than I anticipated; it was so nice being able to spread out. I was initially concerned about the window unit A/C (I mean it is New Orleans heat); however, the unit was centrally located enough to cool the entire apartment quite comfortably and the ceiling fan in the bedroom was a welcome extra bit of circulation for the evenings. I think one thing I did not remember reading in the listing or reviews is that the floor is concrete so you may want to bring a pair of slippers or slides for some cushion while padding around the apartment.

Perfect place to stay while in New Orleans. Home was very comfortable and clean, and surrounding area neighborhood seemed safe to walk around. I really enjoyed the outside sitting area when weather is nice. I would definitely stay again. Don't pass this one up!!
