Beautiful stay in Alsace at this charming house

We stayed a few days at the gîte du bonheur (which is aptly named!). Quiet place is soothing, ideal for recharging. We were really well received by Marie! She immediately put us at ease and gave us very good advice about restaurants 🙂 Marie really has a sense of hospitality and is very available for any requests throughout the stay. It was really nice! We also had the pleasure of enjoying a wine tasting with Christophe, who expertly guided us and shared his passion for his work! In short, everything was perfect! Everything went smoothly and we had a great stay! The hosts are very communicative and kind, they provided us with clear check in instructions and ton of great local recommendations. Cozy and clean, the apartment had more than just the necessary amenities making our stay feel like a real treat. With the very central location the studio was surprisingly private, we only heard children playing in the inner courtyard (we weren’t too bothered but consider bringing earplugs if you like to sleep in!). Overall, we would highly recommend staying at Emmanuelle and Thomas’ place and would come back in a heartbeat.

Very nice cottage, well-equipped and well-arranged, it matches the listing. The outdoor covered terrace is a plus. Maelle is both responsive and available We had a lovely stay. Châtenois is a village located near many points of interest for visiting Alsace.

Beautiful accommodation with a design character - if you are looking for something special, this is the place to be. The open kitchen and spacious living area are very modern and comfortably furnished. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom has a bathtub and a large shower. The quiet area and the covered balcony overlooking the beautiful garden invite you to relax. We would come back anytime.

We felt very comfortable in Adrien's apartment. Very tastefully decorated and well equipped. The view of the church and the stork's nest is a dream. We appreciated the tranquility in the apartment and Bergheim itself. There are also good restaurants that are within walking distance. Communication is quick and easy. Parking directly in front of the building. Overall highly recommended for a stay to explore the area and the wine villages.

Exactly as described, great accommodation with wonderful views of the vineyards. In the apartment, everything was very clean and well maintained and there was a very solid basic equipment including coffee pods, which we appreciated very much! We will be happy to come back

We vacationed in Alsace for about a week. Barr is a great starting point for many excursions between Strasbourg and Colmar. In the beautiful little town itself there is a lot to discover and bakers, restaurants, etc. are right around the corner. Parking on the opposite side of the street worked great for us, as we were on the road during the day when the parking disc was needed. The apartment is tasteful and designed with a lot of love for detail. The amenities are very good. We were there with our 1 year old twins and had enough space for everything. The building is a beautiful half-timbered house in the old town with narrow and steep stairs. For us, however, it was easy to do with the children in the stretcher. Overall a place to feel good. :) We will be happy to come back when the next vacation in the region is coming up.

we had An amazing stay. The apartment was very clean and neat and had many luxuries. Like in the kitchen: there are a lot of appliances and we didn't lack anything for cooking (handy bonus: supermarket leclerq is only 5 minute walk). There was toiletpapier provided, a whole bunch of shampoos, a hairdryer... The shower was good. And on every window are electric roller shutters that completely block the light (and make you feel safe). The bed was super comfortable and there's a desk with good desk chair for working. The wifi worked perfectly and there are 2 tv's: one fancy curved smart tv in the living room and one smaller one in the bedroom. There's also a terrace that gets a lot of sun. All in all: we had a very comfortable stay and I can recommend anyone.

Claire and David had a wonderful place! It was just like the photos (better even!). The location is excellent — close to shops, cafes, stores, and access to lots of beautiful hiking trails through vineyards. They also had a full booklet of recommendations and responded quickly. Highly recommend this place/these hosts!

A cozy apartment in a stunningly beautiful town.

We loved this Airbnb. Perfect location in Colmar, easily walkable (15 min) from the train station. About a 7 min walk to La Petite Venise. Everything looks new and is very clean. Very nicely done apartment. We will stay here again.

Great accomodation in thr centre of Gerardmer. Everything you need is included and Vincent is a very helpfull and kind host! Would definetly recommend staying here if you want a nice 'at home' place in Gerardmer!

We spent two pleasant nights in this apartment and felt very comfortable. The place was clean, well appointed, and exactly as described. The location is quiet yet well connected – ideal for relaxing and exploring the surroundings at the same time. The contact with the host was very friendly and uncomplicated, also the check-in and out went smoothly. We were traveling with children and even though the apartment is not specifically designed for families, everything worked well for us. Thank you for the pleasant stay – we will be happy to come back!
