Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Osa Peninsula

No complaints at all about this place! It was a hidden gem and well worth the price. The location was good for us - quiet, in a smaller neighborhood, a very peaceful retreat. It was off the beaten path, so would not be for people who want to see or hear the ocean. However, it was SUPER clean, the beds were comfy, A/C worked great, the parking was easy and secure. The gardens were immaculate and offered a jungle feel which we all loved. It is a 3-minute drive from MaxiPali for groceries, etc. and a few more minutes to Quepos.

This place was perfect for our family of 4. It was spacious and the outdoor living space was beautiful. Two pools in the complex were perfect for our kids and the neighbours were all welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful home and setting, with breathtaking views. The entire house is clean and tidy, ample parking and group sharing space. We would come back without hesitation.

The whole accommodation was great, we had enough space, could relax by the pool, cook and enjoy the time. We were able to easily spend two more nights there on request. Would recommend this to anyone.

For a vacation of a lifetime book this beautiful home - it's OUTSTANDING. The whole experience is 5 star. The home is incredible - the wildlife you see is unbelievable - monkeys Toucans huge butterflies Humming birds the list is endless. Andrea the wonderful housekeeper keeps the house immaculate, the gardener picked us fruit and the maintenance is first class. The BEST concierge we have ever had Susan was like having a PA and made our vacation seamless. Scott was very welcoming (your house is off the chart) and we had everything provided to make this a holiday of a lifetime. If you visit the National Park get a guide - or you will see very little they have telescopes that makes the experience. Chef Renzo and Roberto - Michelin * level. Best meal of our vacation - we could not thank them enough - every dish was melt in your mouth delicious. Any food left in the fridge is donated (this filled my heart) This house captures Costa Rica's Pura Vida 100%. Thank you to the whole team .

This home is beautiful. Located at the top of a mountain, the drive is steep (must have a 4x4!!) but doable (even in the night/rain). Breathtaking rain forest views!! Like nothing I’ve ever seen. The pool is amazing. Kitchen is amazing. Every bedroom in the home is a beautiful master bedroom with nice bathrooms and beautiful view. Note - rooms are very separated in the home, accessible by separate staircase. Great for a group of adults wanting some gathering and some privacy. We had wildlife visit right at our windows… 2 kinds of Monkeys, Macaws, a Toucan and of course the Sloth liked to hang in the tree above the pool. Lots to do in the area. Quick 5 min drive to Manuel Antonio or to Quepos where you can find anything you need. Had the most amazing dinner at Mangata! Went on a fabulous 10 in 1 rainforest tour with Amigos Del Rio, they picked us up right from the home! Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Leonardo's was lovely. The house was as described and had everything we needed. Waking up to the sounds of a rushing river and birds is excellent. The location is peaceful but still within easy distance of any amenities you might need. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home and the views are amazing, beautiful and inspiring. The pictures really do not do it justice. We loved all of the pet visitors. We met boo-boo and Tigre, the cats and Doby the neighboring dog that also greeted us on our first day in coming up the path. They were adorable and a fun bonus! The hosts were very responsive and friendly and gave local recommendations as well. Thank you for having us! My favorite part was driving on the road that gets you up to the location. It requires 4x4 drive. It is an intimidating and humbling drive , but a lot of fun! After the second or so drive it gets easier to maneuver. The location is also central to everything. It is further out than staying in the tourist locations, but it’s totally worth it. Thank you!

Two words “ absolutely breathtaking”! I think that pretty much sums up this place. The Host and his team were all super helpful. The property is located on top of a Mountain with INCREDIBLE views. You get a full on view of the tail once the tide recedes. The place was extremely modern and clean. I absolutely loved every piece of decor throughout the villa. I would recommend this place over and over again, to everybody. One thing I would recommend, is that you take the hosts’ advice and stop at the Supermarket at the foot of the mountain before going up. It’s a good 20mins just to get back down for some water😂

Where do I possibly start my summation of this paradise? I'm writing this now while on the plane home. Reliving my experience at Chris & Kristen's propery gives me a smile on my face even when I must return home. The personal touch stood out in a magnificent way. The knowledge of the country, the region, the local places. I felt like I was the only person on their property to care for during my stay. After a rain storm, late at night... I was treated to a tour when the vegetation was at its glory. The sounds, scenery, plant life, and different species of life were amazing. The carefully planned out grounds are a treasure... And constantly being upgraded and cared for everyday. The Villa was awesome. Had everything needed. Beautifully air conditioned, and kept. Bed comfortable, great size refrigerator, and perfectly configured stove. The view from my Villa was incredible, to say the least. My new friends will see me again. Their striving for my comfort was unmatched! TY

I booked this listing for a group of 8 women. We all needed time to get away from our busy lives in the U.S. The six nights at La Sombra were peaceful and inspiring! What a beautiful location and beautiful grounds. We were all stunned by the property, in a good way:) It was even better than the beautiful pictures provided. Each villa was appointed beautifully with quality linens, towels, robes, bath soaps, dishes, etc. We especially enjoyed the patio views and the design of the structures that incorporate natural light and the surrounding nature. We ate dinner each night on the patio of the main house, and found a spot for morning meditations on the bridge. Catherine and Ryan were available and responsive before, during and after our visit. And, I cannot say enough about the local cook, Marta. We all wanted to take her home with us! What a treat:) Thank you for sharing your home with us, Catherine and Ryan!

Hillary and Johnny were amazing hosts. Very responsive and attentive to our needs. Always easy to reach and quick to respond. Helped to curate and make this one of our most memorable trips. The property is absolutely amazing. The views are stunning. The drive up the road and the driveway into the home is not for the weak at heart, but it is well worth the effort. My husband and I have stayed in Costa Rica multiple times and this is one of our favorite locations. Road was in much better condition than many of the other roads we have traveled in the past.Hillary helped arrange groceries to be delivered to the Villa prior to our arrival as well as directed us for local private chefs, and private in Villa massages. They were readily available for any needs that arose while we were there. It should be doubted that there are only curtains in one bedroom however that was not a drawback for us. I cannot say enough about the beauty of this location. The view is unbelievable. The house is so well sited to take advantage of the view. The porch is gorgeous and soaking tub is lovely. The house is glass on two sides to take full advantage of the view but also completely private. Modern decor with a serene and peaceful vibe. Isaac responded immediately to our questions when we arrived. Great weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

Royer and Flor's place was incredible and gorgeous, surrounded by a beautiful garden and wonderful sounds of animals. Both Royer and Flor were some of the best hosts I've ever had—super informative and helpful. I would highly recommend their place and booking your tours with them. My partner and I did a day tour to Sirena Station and a night hike with them—both were very informative.

Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.

Hands down nicest place,really enjoyed it. manuel Antonio is right around the corner! The powerful AC throughout (kitchen and both bedrooms) provided the best night's sleep of our entire trip. The location is ideal - close to shops and restaurants while feeling secure behind the gated entrance. We absolutely loved the luxurious touches - especially the comfortable beds, large washer/dryer, and that amazing jacuzzi shower room! The balcony was perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. After a week of traveling, this place felt like absolute luxury, and we appreciated how responsive and kind the host was. We felt the cleanest and most comfortable we'd been in Costa Rica - honestly can't understand how anyone could leave this gem a negative review!

I am already looking forward to returning 💞 It was the perfect location to unplug from the rest of the world and enjoy a tech-detox cozied into the hills of San Vito. It is very clean for a natural home, and only gave 4 stars for cleanliness for the sake of keeping foreigners realistic when arriving. This is Costa Rica, and things are very alive here. Meaning, be aware thay this home is very connected to beautiful natural elements you are likely coming to appreciate and get closer to. Pristine is unrealistic when you're going more rustic. So embrace the elements 🙏 And this is the perfect place to do just that!
