Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Oscoda Township

We had a great Father's Day trip in Oscoda with my dad, brothers, and sons. The home was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated with high ceilings and a great layout for our group of 7. The kitchen and dining area were perfect, and the master suite—with a fun lighthouse theme—was huge. The arcade in the living room was a hit for two-player battles. We spent most of our time in the backyard fishing, kayaking (2 were provided, though we brought our own), and enjoying cozy campfires with extra chairs from the boathouse. Friendly neighbors even shared fishing tips. A nearby train only passed once and wasn’t disruptive. The hosts, Lisa and her husband, were amazing—quick to respond and incredibly thoughtful, even shipping a new Roku device the same day when a remote was missing. A fantastic, memorable stay all around! Highly recommended and hope to be a returning guest. 😀

The place was great! It's on the small side, but yet plenty of room. Very clean and easy entry upon arrival. Just a side note. The oven works great, but when you preheat, do not open the oven for 15 minutes, otherwise, a safety feature will shut it off.. lol learned by lesson. Tina was awesome with quick responses on any questions! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Our stay was perfect! We are so glad we found Matthew's place. He welcomed our furry friends giving us a safe place for them to stay and play. A fenced grassy yard, puppy blankets, and toys. I texted Matthew with a question and he called me within minutes. We will be staying here again and again!

I surprised my husband with this holiday cabin/cottage on the lake getaway. He loved it!..and so did I. With GPS...the home was easy to find...even in the evening time, after dark. The home is warm and cozy. Loved the cabin decor. Love that all the rooms are on one level ( except for the mud room...just one step off the kitchen). We enjoyed sitting out on the 3 season porch drinking coffee in the mornings. Just keep in mind if you're traveling in the winter months, the porch is not heated. We just kept the door off of the living room open so that the heat would circulate. With our robes on and our hot cup of coffee, we did just fine. The views of the lake was awesome once the snow melted. The kitchen was fully stock with appliances, seasonings and spices. Slept like a baby on the queen size bed. Ample amount of clean linens. Bathroom nice and clean. Nice restaurants and pizza spots around town. Dog friendly! Would love to visit again in the summer months. 100 STARS ✨!

Hands down one of our favorite air bnb’s so far! We loved the pathway to the beach, felt like we were in Florida! Tracy gave us some really awesome recommendations to check out during our stay and on our way home we stopped at the dinosaur gardens about 20 mins away from the cottage and we were pleasantly surprise by the natures beauty there! Our 3 year old dinosaur loving boy said “wow” and “cool” about 100 times. The local restaurants near by have some amazing meals. We got the fish tacos at The Mountain (YUM) and the sweet potato’s fries are delicious at Brew Haus! The sense of style inside the cottage was so cute and inspiring. Really happy with our stay there :)

We loved our stay at Mark’s place!! Beautiful views being right on the water! We couldn’t believe how well his kitchen was stocked and we felt right at home! The sun room was a perfect spot to talk or read while looking at the water. We highly recommend this place as Mark is a great host!

Geraldine's place was well stocked, very clean, great communications, the place was as described, great view of the Lake, this was the best place we have stayed in the area in the past 3 years. We are hoping to return later this summer and rent Geraldine's place again. The neighbors were friendly. We felt safe.

Had a great time with the family the pool was great my kids loved it hot tub is cool my kids enjoyed the Xbox overall was a good time I felt rich for a day 😩

Location location location!!!! For the price, you can’t beat it. My wife and I walked to everywhere we wanted to go, no need to drive to find a place to eat or shop. The place was clean, and Chad had everything set up the way we expected. This place is highly recommended, no doubt about that. Thank you again Chad!!!

Wonderful little spot. Comfy and clean. Great hosts. 20 minute walk from everything you could want to do in Midland.

It was a great place to stay, very comfortable. I would like to get back in late spring or summer, the walk to the beach would be awesome.

Margie and Chris were excellent hosts. The communication was great throughout. Clearly, things were thought through to make the guest experience as good as possible; extra pillows, blankets, toilet paper, paper towel, etc. They left pamphlets for the area sights to see, which was very helpful. The weather was hot the first night and cold the last night of my stay and Margie ensured that I was comfortable both nights - and even offered to bring over an extra heater on the cold night. It was a private, quiet place to spend some time, but there is also a lot to do around the area within reasonable driving distance - Connie’s Cafe, which is only 7 minutes away, is a must visit. There is also Dinosaur Gardens right across the street which was pretty cool. The sinkholes and Presque Isle lighthouses are about a 45 minute drive away but are worth the trip if you like scenic drives, lighthouses, nature and plenty of Lake Huron views. All in all, this was a five star stay. Thanks, Margie!

It was a great place to stay we came down for a long weekend with our baby and 3 dogs and they were more than accommodating. Their place was clean with easy instructions! It was the perfect little apartment! We do plan to stay again in the future.

Thank you so much for this cute apartment! We took naps in between the soccer games for our son's soccer tournament in Petoskey, and the cute decor and functional spaces were comfortable, clean, and made our weekend very enjoyable!

Jeff was a gracious and welcoming host. The apartment was clean and as described. There was loud music from the bar below but that was in the description and we were aware of it before booking. The earplugs we brought helped and are recommended for light sleepers.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was immaculately clean and so comfortable—it truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant getaway!

Loved the location; not a lot to do locally, but Caseville, Bad Axe, and Port Austin were a very short, scenic, and serene drive away.

Doug was a wonderful host and very quick to respond and deliver if we needed anything at all. Stayed here with my wife and baby girl to be closer to the job in Hemlock. This location is in a peaceful, just outside downtown neighborhood. The entire city of Midland was very pleasant to be in ; everyone here was very friendly and just so much different from the Detroit Metro area. You definitely feel safe here. Being so close to downtown , there were plenty of restaurants, parks, and stores that are less than a 5 minute drive away. Will definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks again Doug!

Great place right on Lake Huron. Very clean upon arrival and stocked with everything we needed

Although it was not the fault of the host, the people above us were very loud- music and lots of stomping around well past mid-night. Brian was an accommodating host and the place was exactly as it looked. There is an air fryer which is not listed. Love Otsego Resort- so beautiful and this stay was a great deal!

This Airbnb was PERFECT! We came for a bachelorette get together and stayed for the weekend, we had 8 people which Lane was very accommodating and allowed us to bring an air mattress for our extra people! The location is pristine as it was right across the street from an amazing restaurant (Beachy’s), the farmers market (Saturday morning), lots of stores to shop around, and right next to the liquor store! We didn’t have to drive a single place which made the trip so much more relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms were very large and super clean! The bathrooms were both extremely spacious, absolutely gorgeous and stocked with soap! We will definitely be returning, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Caseville!
