Waterfront holiday rentals in Oslo Municipality

I had a great stay at this Airbnb. The apartment was in very good condition—clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed. It was exactly as described in the listing, and I felt very comfortable during my time there. One thing to note is that the neighborhood can get quite noisy at night, especially during local events. I happened to be there during a hard dance festival, and it was particularly loud in the evenings. If you're a light sleeper or looking for a very quiet environment, this might be something to keep in mind. Overall, I’d still recommend this place for its quality and comfort—just be prepared for some potential nighttime noise depending on the timing of your stay.

Great host and location in Oslo! Aina was really helpful and responsive at check-in! It is a lovely area, 10min walk to central station and in cool area!

For an urban stay this place is ideally located and very comfortable. The building is secure, all appliances are modern, good lighting, basic supplies in both kitchen, laundry, bathroom.

The apartment is in a wonderful location. It’s next to the harbour and in very easy walking distance to the Opera House, train station, Munch museum, sculpture parks, floating saunas, etc The kitchen is well equipped with an induction cooktop and a well stocked refrigerator. We found the bed soft but very comfortable. Host Mari-Anne was responsive and gave us good suggestions on places to see in Oslo. We will come again.

The location is great - newer, walkable area full of restaurants and close to the water. Inside was clean and included the travel crib and high chair we requested for our 10 month old. Staircase is steep, which was shown in the pictures, but took my 3 year old a bit to feel comfortable with it.

The apartment is beautiful, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Helge is friendly and responsive. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook all meals. The location is beautiful and within walking distance to everything in the city. Black out shades and fans for all bedrooms would be beneficial. We had a wonderful stay!!

We spent 3 nights in the apartment, which was cozy and clean and worked really well in all aspects. It seemed a bit bigger on the photos, but in general there was enough room for us. There is no self check in/out as written in the description but it wasn’t a problem for us. The district is very lively and there are many restaurants and shops you can choose from. Perfect location for a short trip! Would definately stay again.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

Location location location... I wanted to stay in Sandvika, because my mother lived there for 20 years, so I am very familiar with the area and it feels like home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and feels very private, yet is centrally located, and easy to walk around the area for hiking, shopping, bus/train transfers, and easy to use trains and bus to connect to anywhere quickly. We had everything we needed, and were comfy and cozy and made ourselves at home. Very comfy beds. As described, the sleeping loft has a low ceiling. My daughter is not very tall and is young and limber, and was quite happy up there, but you probably don't want someone too tall up there. Host is very responsive and clearly communicates. They live in the house next to the rental, but we never saw them in over a week, so the rental is very private. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely sunsets from the deck.

Ich war 5 Wochen dort. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön und man hat seine Privatsphäre. Zu Fuß kommt man recht schnell an ein großes Einkaufszenter, dort gibt es alles was das Herz begehrt. Generell kommt man zu Fuß sehr gut zu recht. Die Öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel habe ich nicht getestet. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und man kann sich gut mit ihm unterhalten. Er hatte mir angeboten eine Wanderung zu machen, was ich auch gerne gemacht habe. Er gab viele Tipps was man machen kann in der Umgebung aber auch Tipps für längere Fahrten. Alles in allem sehr tolle 5 Wochen.

Fue un verdadero placer estar en el departamento de Brigitte. Muchísimo respeto, privacidad y flexibilidad. Realmente uno se siente como en casa. Es absolutamente TODO como en las fotos y, tanto ella como su marido, estuvieron pendientes de cómo estaba y si necesitaba algo. 100 puntos!! lo super recomiendo tanto para estadías cortas o largas.

Veldig koselig hus, godt med plass men likevel intimt. Fjordutsikt til frokost var herlig! fine gater å gå i. Jeanette var perfekt vertskap. Kjøkken med det man trenger. Fint moderne bad. vi tar turen igjen ☺️

We loved Kjetil / Christine's place! The home design was beautiful, the view of Oslofjord was fantastic, and it was very well stocked. The bus stop was also just steps away to catch the local bus to get to the train to the airport and other locations. I'd definitely recommend their place for a relaxing visit to Oslo in beautiful surroundings.

Denne perle lever helt op til alle forventninger som står i beskrivelse, og er efter min mening en rigtig perle. Hus og interiør er af top kvalitet, og der er ingenting at sætte fingeren på, alle rum er perfekte. Terrassen er utrolig fin, og udendørs sofagruppe er vidunderlig. Området er fint, og har mange muligheder, og børnevenligt. Stor madvarebutik er max 200m væk. Der er mange muligheder for gåture i naturvakkert område, og langs stranden. Sandvika Storsenter ligger også indenfor rækkevidde. Værten er meget omtænksom og proaktiv, og man føler sig tryg og velkommen i huset. Hvis dette hus er ledigt en anden gang jeg skal til Oslo, så vil jeg helt sikkert vælge dette hus igen. Dette ophold har været en super positiv oplevelse.

The location was perfect as we could easily walk to shops and restaurants and the Opera House. Public transport was also within walking distance and the canal was a lovely outlook.

The location was perfect—quiet, peaceful, and just a 3-minute walk from both the metro station and a supermarket. The host was very friendly and helpful, and we felt truly welcomed. Die Lage des Apartments ist sehr gut, ca. 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Oper und zum Munch-Museum. Ein gut sortierter Supermarkt ist direkt im Gebäudekomplex. Das Wohnzimmer ist etwas steril und es gibt kein gutes Licht zum Lesen. Aber die meisten Besucher verbringen vermutlich ohnehin nicht viel Zeit in der Wohnung, sondern sind in der Stadt unterwegs. Für uns als Familie war es als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Spaziergänge durch Oslo perfekt.

My husband and I loved staying in Kandeeban’s place! The location was perfect- quiet, walking distance from the train station, right on the water, near restaurants and Oslo’s museums and convenience stores. The hosts were communicative and responsive. The bed was very comfortable and soft! They also had extra blankets. The shower had great water pressure and was very hot. The entire house was very clean and comfortable. It was plenty of space for two people and a very restful location after a long flight. I wish we could have stayed longer! The only suggestion I would make is to provide extra towels, especially because the listing advertises being close to the water. Also, following the video directions was a bit tricky just because the streets/paths look similar, but once we knew what to look for, we made it! Besides that, this was a wonderful place and I would gladly come again. Thank you!

Die Wohnung war sehr zentral gelegen. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten wurden alle fussläufig erreicht. Su war eine tolle Gastgeberin - Die Wohnung war einwandfrei und auf unsere Wünsche abgestimmt. Auch der Kontakt lief absolut reibungslos.
