Welcome to our cottage in the woods where a hearty breakfast is included! It's in the cottage, so there's no time to fit in, eat what and when you want. The cottage is secluded and has a small kitchen with most things you need, a private toilet with shower and a comfortable sofa bed. Bed linens, towels and cleaning are included. Large TV with Chromecast and fast WiFi as well as books and games to pass the time with. Modern composting toilet and shower in a separate building reserved for the guest. 150 meters to the shoreline with piers and 3 km to Wiks Castle with a large child-friendly swimming area. Nice trails and the possibility of fishing, rowing, canoeing. An additional house for 2-5 people is available on the property for rent.

Gamla Uppsala is 4 km north of Uppsala city, nice, quiet and very close to the nature. The highway E4 is close and you can go by bus, bike or walk to city, it’s 100m to the busstop.

Stugan drivs enbart av 12-volts el för enklare belysning, vilket innebär begränsad elektrisk kapacitet. Det finns dock möjlighet att ladda mobiltelefoner via uttag. Distance: Sigtuna (4 km footpath, 8 km by car). 17 km from Arlanda airport, 40 km to Stockholm city. 3 km to public transport (bus). The cottage is located close to the main building and has its own balcony with lake views. Beautiful surroundings and close to the lake with a swimming area of about 100 meters . On the property, there is a dog and during summertime there are sheep.
