We absolutely loved Bluejay Cottage! From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like the perfect getaway, open, airy, peaceful, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful Michigan charm. Everything was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable with crisp white sheets, the towels plush and plentiful, and the home had everything we could possibly need. The host didn’t miss a single detail, they thought of everything! The screened-in sunroom became our favorite hangout spot for coffee, games, and watching the stunning sunrises over the lake. We had so much fun using the paddleboards and ending our nights by the fire pit making s’mores! The care and love put into every detail was clear. It’s rare to find a place this flawless, cozy, elegant, and truly restorative. In all our years of using Airbnb this is our favorite! We didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to return to this unforgettable lakeside retreat!

Lots of beds and space for those that fill them. Great spot close to downtown and the surrounding area!

We enjoyed our stay at Chad and Nikki’s place. Felt like home, spacious and plenty to do. We will definitely stay with them again. We had a slight issue with the internet, Hosts responded quickly and the issues was resolved in minutes. Amazing decor!

My husband said to put it on the top of re-rent list, highly suggest! The house is rustic in the perfect up north vibes kinda way while keeping all the nice amententies of home. There was plenty of space inside and out.The little lake and view from the deck are beautiful! The privacy and large yard give plenty to do even on somewhat rainy cloudy days, we had fires, kayaked, hiked. We went to the community pool on a nice hot day, the pool was nicely heated, clean and had a great view. It was also connected to a bar and grill that brings cocktails and food to you. We grilled and ate like kings and it was so nice to have the stocked kitchen and grill, the ice maker was a perfect touch and the variety of ways to make coffee and or tea were so thoughtful. We are already talking about when we could go again! Thank you for the wonderful mini vacation❤️

Lovey home. Beautiful location. Very clean. Amply stocked. Great communication. For those who have problems with many stairs…. This is NOT a good fit. There are twenty steps each time you enter or leave the home. Outside there are more stairs to move to the lower level.

Tamara’s place was just what we needed. Everything was as described perfectly and easy to find. Beds were comfortable and kitchen area was well set up. We ran out of TP and Tamara was very responsive and supplied us with more. We would definitely return for another stay.

This was the quiet, comfortable space we wanted for our short getaway. Beautifully and simply furnished, spacious, walkable to shops and restaurants in Harbor Springs, and just a short drive to Petoskey. Highly recommend Jordan's place for your visit to Harbor Springs.

Scott was extremely kind and courteous, and was always responsive. He also gave us great local info and helped us when needed. Parking was very easy and there were no additional fees at any point. If you want to ski or snowboard, Thursday is the best day as the lift ticket is only $15. The room was comfortable and very easy to keep warm during our late-Winter trip where it snowed almost every day and temperatures rarely went above 20°F. The room had a fantastic view of the tubing and ski slope of the Ostego Resort, and it was an extremely short and easy to walk to the lodge or the shop to get lift tickets. We stayed here to attend a rally going on in Atlanta MI. It turned out to be a perfect location bc no matter what you needed from food to shopping was literally just minutes away. Accessing Atlanta, or the Canadian border, Petoskey and Traverse City were all very easy day trips to make. I was also pleasantly surprised how courteous everyone drove. My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you The Ramsey family

It was better than expected. The place was clean, amenities were thoughtful. Everything we needed was there. The host definitely had the guests best interest in mind. . Very pleased. 5 star host for sure.

The property at Boyne is a classic and has maintained a warm place in our memories which we have returned to decades ago after decades. There is history and seasoning in everything which has traveled and joined in our time and hopes every time we attend.

Everything was great, everything was clean, well organized and accurate according to descriptions. The hosts were good to communicate with and made sure we were comfortable and made sure we know they were available for any questions. They also checked in the morning after check- in to make sure everything was going well. Would recommend to anyone looking to travel to the area!

We had a great weekend. Space worked out perfectly and we were able to use the kayaks. They had everything you could want and more.

Mary was a very lovely host and was easy to contact and was quick to respond. You really couldn’t want anything more than this unit, you’re facing the lake, It’s quiet and has incredible sunrises. It’s really everything you need - especially for a couple. The kitchen was well equipped. Heat and AC, no problems. Everything was exceptionally clean!! I am really crazy about cleanliness and I can tell you I felt right at home here, I didn’t need to clean with my Clorox wipes to feel comfortable. You wouldn’t go wrong renting this unit. It was easy to get around from here we went to the tunnel of the trees, Mackinaw, Petoskey and Charlevoix and Harbor Springs. Lots of places to eat or you could stay at home and make dinner and use their grill. The grounds were very nice and very well kept! So what is my downside to this trip? Well the weather was too chilly, but I guess there’s no controlling that next time. I will know that this early in the season it’s a gamble on whether it will be wa
