Cabin holiday rentals in Otter Lake

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cozy cottage! The highlight was definitely the hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The BBQ setup was great and made evening meals easy and enjoyable. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by beautiful nature views, making it a peaceful escape from the city. We especially loved sitting on the deck and taking in the quiet, scenic surroundings. Would definitely come back for another getaway!

We had a great stay at Lisa's place. Our family spent a lot of time on the water exploring the lake in the available canoe and kayaks and really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in the evenings. The outdoor space is setup perfectly for living outside on those sunny days and inside the cabin is cozy and has all the amenities you need if the weather isn't great.

The perfect getaway for a couple or small group of friends! Everything was very well updated and the hot tub and sauna was very relaxing. They provided a timely response when needed and were very easy to book with. Highly recommend!

We had a boys' golf weekend and enjoyed Victor's place. It's right down the street from the golf course, a really good location. The place is nice and rustic, nothing fancy, just as described, which we really enjoyed. It's a relaxing cottage with a very laid-back atmosphere. We will book again in the future for a boys' weekend.

We could spend a family vacation with 6 adults and 3 little children. It has been an ideal place for this. A nice and spacious house and beautiful surroundings! Excellent and very friendly contact to the hosts. Nearby hiking trail and only a short drive to Parry Sound. Over all an excellent stay!

A beautiful place, with everything you need for a private romantic retreat, my girlfriend and I also enjoyed bringing our dogs along. I’d say if one thing could be changed I have a preference for a firmer bed.

We loved our mini getaway! We had everything we needed and more! Sleeping was a dream. Comfy bed (and cozy couch!) Chilled by the fire…. Wandered the road…. Peaceful vibes. We stayed for two nights with my husband and our dog, and we loved it! The place was cozy yet modern, with all the essentials—heating, cooling, and wifi. The bathroom was a definite highlight for us. Everything was just as described, and the little jar of honey was such a sweet touch. We also appreciated the bug helmets and Thermacell—super handy! The location was great, and having easy access to the Oxtongue River and dock was super convenient. Kayaks and canoes were also included in the booking. The views were beautiful, and the outdoor space was both peaceful and functional. Check-in was smooth, and the host had great communication and was very responsive. The cabin’s modern design really stood out. Thanks so much for having us—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

The place had everything we needed—clean, peaceful, and filled with activities, especially fishing, which we really enjoyed. We were also so happy to spot river otters during our stay! Big thanks to Ash and Nicholas for being so accommodating with our inquiries. We just got home and are already wishing we could go back!

This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at in the Muskoka region. It’s a perfect getaway cottage for a couple. We spent the whole weekend at the cottage by the fire relaxing and enjoying the views. Huntsville is a quick drive away if you need anything. We’ll definitely go back.

I can't thank Tiffany and Pat enough for being amazing hosts and helping me through a difficult time. I stayed there on two separate occasions. The location of the house is right on the lake and sitting and watching the sun rise was beautiful. Narrows Convience Store is down the street and so is Mikisew Provinvial Park. The house has all the amenities (more than any other Airbnb I have stayed at). I would rats it more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks again so much!

Great rustic place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Reminded me of my childhood family cottage. It was private and had everything one needs in a semi offgrid location. Bill was prompt, accommodating and friendly. Bring more firewood than you'll think you'll need! Thanks again, Bill!

I've been fortunate to travel the world for my job. There is no better feeling then being home in Muskoka! Irina's place was AMAZING. I'm almost tempted not to say it's spectacular, remote, quiet and perfect! Reason being I'm wanting to go back! This cottage has it all, great Sandy Beach, relaxing wrap around veranda and stunning Georgian Bay views! The loons call you to an incredibly comfortable bed after a devine outdoor hot shower. Irina thank you, you're cottage is magic!

Kate's retreat is a perfect getaway from the city. Quiet, private, with lots of nature surrounding the cottage. The sauna, hot tub, and fireflies at night - were the extras on top. Thanks so much.

This was our second stay at Sunmeet's cottage. We love how quiet and private the cottage is. We stayed a little over a year ago and this time around it was very similar to our first stay. The cottage is very clean and Sunmeet was very responsive. We celebrated my husbands birthday enjoying some amazing bbq'd food and then had a fire in the evening. It's the perfect place if you really want to get away from noise and people (in a good way). Everywhere we wanted or needed to go was 15-30 minutes away. Thank you again, Sunmeet!!!

We had a really lovely stay - the cottage is spacious and tastefully appointed, and the location is perfect, with long sunsets over the water. Highly recommended base from which to explore the gorgeous Muskoka district, whether as an escape from Toronto or for out-of-towners.

The creekside cabin is nothing short of magical. The cabin and property exceeded our expectations. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Kerri is a thoughtful host, who has clearly looked after the details to ensure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. The creek itself is very special, offering a beautiful backdrop and peaceful soundscape to the stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, perfectly situated by the creek for your viewing pleasure. The property and surrounding areas in Beaver valley have so much to offer, including beautiful trails, local food and restaurants and nearby shops. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We look forward to returning as soon as we can!

The Doma Lodge is a great little cabin perfect for a weekend getaway. The cabin is beautifully decorated, cozy, and very clean. Everything is well thought out, organized, and comfortable. The outside space is quite private from neighbours and is surrounded by forest. Stephen was an excellent host and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay! The host was phenomenal, so welcoming and thoughtful. Their entire family was incredibly inclusive and made sure we had everything we needed. We were traveling with our two kids, and they went above and beyond to make their experience unforgettable. From kids’ kayaks and life jackets to board games for rainy days, they truly thought of everything. They even let us use their fire pit for s’mores and the boathouse for some great fishing. We will absolutely be coming back!

Tracey’s brand new tiny house is big on amenities and comfort. Nestled in the woods with huge windows looking out onto treetops, this peaceful home is a sanctuary for writers, bird enthusiasts, solo travellers, couples, and those looking for something unique in a quiet rural area. In a 7-minute period, I picked up 23 birds on Merlin, and was greeted by yellow warblers in the nearby shrubs as I walked around. A young rabbit grazed every evening near the house. Tracey is welcoming and quick to respond to queries, and she has thought of so many details. There is a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed in a cozy room with attached balcony- a great selection of reading material, puzzles, amazing art everywhere you look. Finding enough reading lights or places to curl up with a book in a rental is a challenge sometimes. Not here, as Tracey has created spaces that beckon you to relax. We highly recommend this spotless, private, modern retreat for your next getaway!

An amazing off the grid cabin in the most beautiful location right on the lake. Paul is nothing but an amazing, friendly, accommodating host. did he check in a few hours after we settled but he also checked in the next morning and throughout the trip. Even just taking the boat out on the lake, he was nothing but amazing, providing any and all information. So much more was provided and available not only on the property but in the cabin. the only thing that made this trip better was in fact Paul's dog Scuba. My dog could not come on my trip so having a furry friend was an amazing bonus. If you want a getaway from city life be by the water, have an amazingly chill friendly host and an awesome adorable dog to play with this is the place to be. Will definitely be back in the future.
