The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window facing Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveler. Private jacuzzi, two full bathrooms, and peace and privacy in Mjøslis nature. Kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom on the first floor — living room and two bedrooms on the lower floor. From July 2025, we can finally welcome you to Hanshagan – an authentic farmhouse, closely restored in 1920s style, but with modern comfort. The house has recently been carefully restored: original materials have been preserved, old craft traditions continued, and all with respect for the history of the place. Here you can experience life as it was – without sacrificing warmth, hygiene or convenience. Hanshagan is beautifully situated in Stange Vestbygd and offers views of fields, forests and Mjøsa.

There is a private garden around the house. Here you can sit on nice evenings and enjoy the view. There is access to the beach at Hovelsrud. There are nice hiking trails in the woods right behind the house.
