Unique and charming converted barn in beautiful Hälsingland

Welcome to a unique and charmingly converted old barn located in the beautiful countryside of Hälsingland. Here on the farm there are several houses, including a nice old Hälsingegård. It is about 1.5 km to the village's family-friendly swimming area, possibility for fishing, cycling and paddling. In winter, there is the possibility of skiing. It is 9 km to Alfta city center, where there is a grocery store, restaurants, swimming pool, library, tennis hall, ski track, migrant museum, etc. Also nearby are two Hälsingegårdar that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hälsingegård in the village with 2 world heritage sites, equipped with today's amenities. The Hälsingegård culture in the form of murals, timber and wide floorboards meets the modern such as Wi-Fi, a modernly decorated bathroom and kitchen. It is said that nowhere else in the world did the farmers build as grandly and stately as in Hälsingland in the areas around Långhed. Here, the floor's wide planks creak homely and the calm descends over you as you breathe in the atmosphere of the ballroom that looks the same today as it did in the 19th century.

Relax with the whole family or friends in this peaceful home. Small cottage with everything you need. Close to the forest with hiking trail, fishing waters, swimming area and snowmobile trail in winter. Finnskogsleden starts next to the cottage's parking lot. Proximity to downhill skiing/cross-country skiing: - 15 minutes to the nearest track facility, - 40 minutes north of Kungsberget ski resort - 30 minutes to the ski slopes in Bollnäs or Edsbyn - 1 hour to Järvsö. All guests are responsible for cleaning the cottage before check-out.

The cottage is not perfect but charming. Spacious kitchen and living room with fireplace. Toilet and shower indoors. Patio with kettle grill. Mit unserem SUP kannst du den See erkunden. Du kannst Angeln an See und Fluss. Tauche ein in eine völlig ursprüngliches Leben: Es gibt keinen Strom, kein fließendes Wasser! Zum Aufladen des Handys steht ein Batteriespeicher zur Verfügung. Wasser holst du direkt von einer Quelle am nahegelegenen Flusslauf.

Well-preserved cottage next to Långrösten, Långbo

Welcome to the nature-loving "Stånganäs" next to Lake Långrösten in Hälsingland. A perfect place for relaxation. Here you will find a private jetty, a small beach for swimming and good opportunities for outdoor cooking. Rowboat/outboard motor is available to use and a private parking is right next to the house. There is no running water. We fill up water before check-in and it can be easily picked up at a nearby water source. The toilet is equipped with a new incineration toilet.

My favorite place in Dalarna

The former "teacher's house" (187 square meters) of the neighboring village school, which was closed in 1969, is located in the small town of Dalfors. The modernized home has access to a pond that leads to the large Amungensee. The lake is 800 m away and has a beautiful bathing beach. W-LAN (unlimited) via LTE. The ice rink in Furudal is opened from 01.09. until 30.04. Golf and boat tours in Furudal. Edsbyn (33km) has all the necessary infrastructure. Local trade in Dalfors.
