Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Oxford County

We had a great week at the cabin! The view is amazing and it was so relaxing. Courtney was very responsive and attentive. Highly recommend for a cozy getaway in a beautiful setting.

What can I say, this place is truly amazing as well as Joao is an amazing host. This is my second time booking this place and I have no complaints. By the far the best air bnb I have stayed in. It checks all the boxes, every detail and every carefully thought out extra down to having smores and camp fire supplies to the grill supplies to the carefully placed throws in the living room. This place feels like your home while you’re there, tranquil and so safe. This place is better than pictured and is HUGE in person. Everyone I brought with me just kept repeating how much they loved the space and how it was perfect. Joao also personally went out of his way to refund half of my stay due to the fact of me having to leave early the first time I stayed for emergency reasons, I didn’t ask or request for a refund but he did it off his own choice, which he did not have to do. 10/10 experience all around the board. Anytime I’m in the area, I’ll be staying here ! Don’t double think it, just BOOK.

Amy's place was in the perfect location for our vacation plans .We loved hearing the river behind the house with the windows open also really enjoyed using the sauna. I hadn't been in one since I very young with my Finnish family. the house was furnished with everything we needed to feel comfortable! we definitely would like to go back again at some point. Just got back from our weekend stay . Beautiful space that looked just like the photos. House was spotless. The house is located in a very peaceful and private area. Our family enjoyed the kayaks on the pond during the day and the fire pit on the deck at night . Very relaxing weekend .

This is one of the most beautiful Airbnb‘s. I have ever stayed at. The location is stunning. A river runs right behind the house and you can listen to it as you fall asleep. The sun comes in the afternoon and lights up everything. Tami is a great host Who will make everything right. The house is stocked better than pretty much any house I’ve ever rented. Highly recommend this home. It is a treasure.

It was such a pleasure staying here. The moment we walked in we felt like we were at home. We enjoyed the well-equiped kitchen, the beautiful views from the comfortable living room, and breakfast with the Blue Jays, Cardinals, and Chickadees attracted by a well-placed bird feeder. Everything about this place was simply lovely, and Bev's hospitality made it even better. We're already thinking about the next time we can make a trip up to stay here, and you should to!

This was an amazing visit. We were not there long, but felt right at home. The apartment is easy to get to and we were stunned at how cozy the space was when we arrived. We got 6-10” of snow overnight and Peter was out snow blowing the driveway in the morning to ensure we could get our car out. Great hosts!! Anytime we head back up to ski Pleasant Mountain or enjoy the lakes region in the summer, we will check to see if Sunset Ridge is available!

My dog and I had a great time here and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. We found lots of dog-friendly hikes and nature reserves nearby within 15-30 minutes . Otherwise we enjoyed the peaceful yard and small brook on the property. Beautiful and thoughtful rental, with very friendly hosts.

Andy’s place was perfect! I stayed here for the Sugarloaf marathon - you can’t find a closer spot to the start line! Beautiful area with tons of trails right on the property. Quiet, peaceful, and very private. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

It was just what we needed. It was so relaxing. It was Homie quaint it was nicely dated very convenient full kitchen drawing room or sitting room. The lake is literally maybe 45 steps away which brings you three docs and any color kayak you want lifejackets you know safety first and great bass fishing. It was beautiful. I enjoyed the R&R honestly it was for anniversary/Mother’s Day so it was very peaceful. The bed is so comfortable. It was just a wonderful time. Beautiful couch very comfortable. You can fit too. You wanna lay down and watch a movie. Plenty of places to eat little stores to run to. It was really nice. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back.

We had a wonderful stay! Lisa is very responsive and so nice. We quickly made friends with Bella, the resident dog, and she is the sweetest pup. We were surprised with a Thanksgiving snow storm and the town lost power but there is a whole house generator, so we didn’t skip a beat or notice the power outage, which was so nice! There is a coffee pot on site (not a Keurig) and Lisa provided coffee grounds, which was amazing because we brought coffee pods. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom but there is no door, so if you need more privacy, I’d plan to tack up a blanket. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the property is peaceful. A gas station with a Dunkin is just a just a minute or two down the road and very convenient. We would definitely return.

We were in the area for a very brief last min visit to see family and because we didn't want to kennel our dog we searched airbnb and found Elizabeth's place. She has a wonderful place gem of a place, very peaceful. We awoke to the sounds of the birds singing. Her place is the most dog friendly we have been to with dog toys,treats,bags and dog bed and our dog immediately felt right at home. Elizabeth is a wonderful host ,very responsive and kind. We will stay here again should we be back to the area.

Lovely, stunning location and so peaceful! Walking down to the dock and seeing the lake and mountains was amazing! Great outdoor shared fireplace and dock area. We did not kayak but certainly will next visit. Lots of great hiking and views nearby. The Loon Lodge restaurant and bar was fantastic for dinner. Other great local spots too. The cabin is cozy but had everything you needed to make meals and enjoy nature. Love the screened in porch!

We had such a great time. The home was warm and inviting, extremely clean and well cared for. The neighborhood was quiet, yet not too far from town. Jason reached out to us to make sure we got settled in. Everything was perfect.

Off the grid enough to feel completely alone in the woods, but close enough to where you can get dinner or find other things to do with only a short drive. Highly recommend.

Came for the Fall colors; left in love with the place! Small but delightful. Cluttered in the most fantastical way. Nestled in paradise. Bonnie is so nice and friendly! Pay attention to the fact that the toilet is not attached to house. Short walk to privet and very clean!

Very cozy cabin, easy for multiple people to stay in. Great atmosphere with inside and outside speakers, a beautiful river, and a great fire pit location. Highly recommend staying here.
