Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ozark Mountains

Great space, tucked away in the woods. Nice amenities on a great lake in Fort Scott. Spacious, clean, peaceful and very comfortable. Did our annual father-son fishing trip here. Fishing wasn't great because of the weather, but based on how many boats we saw in the area, must be a good spot. Would stay again. Boys had a great time too.

We stayed here for a mini honeymoon to destress in private. It is very peaceful and private at this beautiful cabin in a wooded area. The road up the hill is narrow, so bring a good driver in good weather. There were very thorough instructions to get to this cute but tucked away location. Inside the cabin are gorgeous floor to ceiling windows that allow a peaceful view of the trees. The furnishings are cute, clean, and thoughtful. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and the kitchenette has everything a couple needs for a few nights away. The TV has Internet and streaming apps. Outside, the wooden porch has a grill, fire pit, and a clean hot tub. There are thoughtfully provided curtains to allow the tub privacy from the (barely used) road. Overall this was a lovely stay and we'd love to return!

Perfect getaway from all the noise of city life. This is the location you want to go if you need to relax and enjoy some time away in beautiful AR. Kelly is the best host, very responsive and super laid back. Will return for sure!.

Spent my birthday weekend at this mountain house with my girl friend Hunter and it was exactly what we needed. The location is wonderfully secluded - far from everyone and everything, which made for a peaceful retreat. The highlight was definitely visiting Elephant Rocks State Park nearby - such a unique and cool place to explore. Great spot for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy Missouri's natural beauty.

If you're looking for peace and tranquility in Oklahoma, this is the place. My wife and I absolutely loved it Noemi's spot. Beautiful large windows that overlook the lake and a deck to enjoy the birds over your morning cup of coffee. We were even able to go swimming and sun tan on the private dock. 10/10 would come back and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a beautiful and peaceful space to enjoy.

Second time staying here, always a joy. Perfect amount of space for my family, love the quiet outdoors. The porch is my favorite spot. Heather is kind, communicates and offers up a very nice Airbnb stay.

This was an amazing stay, it's a very peaceful and quiet home. it's a cute tiny home. Only negative is if you're staying longer there's no washer/dryer. The hot tub and grill were amazing. It's not too far of a drive from Branson so there's plenty of things to do. If you want to relax and cook yourself there's a really nice grocery store 15 minutes away.

My husband and I absolutely love staying here! We stayed here on our wedding night, and come back each year for our anniversary. This is the perfect place to get away from our phones and just spend time together relaxing on the porch. Highly recommend.

This was the most peaceful adequate space for us! We didn’t want to leave! We felt like we were in the country, but everything we needed or wanted was right around us. We will be back and I have already shared with two other families. Thanks for your hospitality!

Neal’s place was perfect for us. We were able to relax and unwind. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows were amazing. Neal was super responsive to any questions that we had. Check in and check out were super easy.

Great place to stay for a short, overnight trip!

This place is great if you want to disconnect from the tv and phone and get out into nature. her meditation sanctuary is just a short walk away from the house. The house was very clean and big enough for the two of us. Heidi was very helpful and met with us when we arrived to show us around the property. The hot tub was very relaxing and easy to use. Her three dogs are the sweetest baby’s and will greet you as well! She has a breakfast menu, where she’ll prepare whatever you order and bring it to your house! One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had.

Good place, good area, wasn’t at the house itself a whole lot but the time we were there it was very comforting and relaxing.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautifully maintained and serene apartment. Everything about the space felt thoughtfully designed for comfort—from the spotless, well-equipped kitchen to the luxurious rainfall shower and ultra-comfy bed. The A/C worked perfectly, keeping the space cool and inviting throughout my stay. Although I didn’t use it on this trip, easy access to the garage to park bikes is a great feature. The location is excellent—situated near the edge of the downtown area, just a short walk or bike ride from fantastic restaurants and local spots, yet still quiet and peaceful at night. Kathryn was an outstanding host—responsive, helpful, and with great recommendations. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and she made sure I had everything I needed for an enjoyable visit. I’d absolutely stay here again!

I have nothing but good things to say about this property, and the host. I travel a lot and this may be the smallest place that I have stayed in, but it has more than enough room and the space is extremely comfortable. It's also very simplistic, but has everything that I needed. Rachel was responsive before, during and after my stay. And finally, it's very private, very peaceful and a great location to hiking trails, which is my passion. Thank you for having me!

If you are wanting a cabin on the creek surrounded by beautiful nature this is it! Our stay and experience was simply beautiful.

Adorable, secluded cabin. We felt right at home!

First & foremost.. the host was very informative about their place & the surrounding areas, etc to explore! Not to mention their responsiveness to addl questions we had during our stay. Secondly.. their attention to details.. not only did they have excellent pots & pans but everything you might need in the kitchen & well thought out “other things” that most AIRBNB rentals don’t have. The great endless supply of hot water meaning you don’t have to wait to shower is a big plus in my books! Both AC splits did an excellent job both upstairs & down! The beds were very comfy as well. Screened in porch was spectacular!! Not only were the views amazing but so many extras..mini fridge, bar area, party lights & more! Lastly.. I messed up on our check out date..ugh. Our host was so very kind about my mistake & made adjustments to his schedule to accommodate us! A HUGE THANKS to our host for sharing their amazing place with us! 10+Stars! The cabin was beautiful! We did a quick overnight during our travel from TX to IL with our kids and didn’t want to do a standard hotel. This was such a fun change of pace and experience for us all! The home was exactly as described, decorated beautifully, and had some fun board games which was a nice bonus! I didn’t realize there was a little pond when we booked, so that was a huge pleasant surprise! There’s so much outdoor seating, beautiful trees and wildlife, and a cute garden which the kids loved! Definitely recommend booking this lovely home!

Cute, quaint, good location in the middle of a variety of things to do. Leah was so responsive and caring! Not having to worry about the little things made it such a more comfortable and relaxing vacation. This has everything u need for a nice little cabin stay other than yourself!

Loved the cabin, perfect place for me and my wife to stay during the visit of my hometown. No disturbances. Can see residence across road and below cabin when pulling in to cabin access road. AC worked great, hot tub was very nice, wood stove on porch for colder months is a great plus. Fire pit 30 yards from house and wood ready to burn. We stayed for over 5 nights and it was a great time. No complaints. Thank you Jennifer!
