House holiday rentals in Palairos

We had a wonderful week in George's villa, starting with a warm welcome from his lovely mum who showed us around. We were then left in peace for the rest of the trip, although George always responded quickly when we sent him questions. The villa is even nicer than the pictures, great AC and plenty of towels. It is atop a hill, with no other villas or roads close by, so you're not overlooked and the view is breathtaking. We didn't hear traffic noise or even dogs barking at night, you feel tucked away in your own private space. The pool is perfect, and stays really clean thanks to the infinity design. The loungers are comfy with the grapevine shade. We used the outdoor BBQ and sat out on the terrace every day, though if you're eating outside you will attract some flies. The location is rural, so there were lots of bugs outside and occasionally inside - not a problem, but something to be aware of and bring insect repellent! There are screens on doors and windows to keep them out.

A very nice place. We arrived very late and even delayed but this was no problem at all. We had telephone contact and Chris quickly came to explain and escort us inside so that we could put our daughter to bed. It was very clean and the private pool was super. Now the second villa happened not to be rented, so even more privacy, but even if it were, you have enough privacy. Tip for the island: Rent a car. The cottage is a perfect point to go in all directions from there. The only tip is to have more tea towels and dishcloths for the kitchen.

The villa is set in a very peaceful setting but it is not isolated with lovely places to eat just a couple of minutes walk away and opposite a place where you could hire bikes and water activities equipment as well as go for a drink, play pool and board games and swim in their larger beautiful pool. Having this across the street was a real bonus as we could go for a drink after eating and we had a lot of fun with the people that run the bar and the locals that also go there most nights. The villa is ideal for families and Nikos was always responsive to anything we asked with lots of recommendations for places to go, beaches, restaurants and anything else we asked about. The villa is very well equipped and he even supplied insect repellent tablets and things to burn outside. Overall I would really recommend this accommodation.

Had an absolutely fantastic time here! The location is great, the house is very nice and comfortable; easily accessible by car! She is a fantastic host and is extremely warm and welcoming! She gave us wonderful recommendations and was very easy to get in touch with if we had any questions. We hope to come back in the future!

We spent a wonderful 10 days here. The house is comfortable, cool, had plenty of space for our family of 5 and all the amenities we needed. The kitchen is great for cooking, though we often ate out too. Lahos, where the house is located, is close to Stavros, Exogi, Fríkes, Kioni and all the northern beaches (with a car). It’s quiet too, save for the bell of the local church and the sound of goats and sheep. The pool was a welcome place to cool off. Many thanks Serge.

Can’t recommend Theodoros’ place highly enough - a little slice of paradise short drive from the charming town of Vasiliki. George was fantastic, so proactive and attentive whenever we needed anything and made us feel so welcome and looked after our entire stay and went above and beyond. Have to mention the view. It does not get old - the pictures here were pretty spectacular but the view is truly breathtaking!!! We were a little hesitant to book due to the limited info/pictures so glad we did. We can’t wait to come back 💕

Elena is a very nice person, with a great personality, very communicative and helpful. The house is great, with everything that you need for a good stay, also very clean. It is a beachfront house, you have to walk max. 50m to the beach. The beach is mixed, stone and sand, it is quite private and very clean. I would warmly recommend that house to everyone. Thank you again Elena!

I more than recommend the place. It’s like a small part of heaven and everything was perfect. The house, the garden, mister Eftichios who offered us a warm welcome, good communication, olive oil, fresh strawberries, eggs from his chicken and the company of his lovely dog Yanis who made us a bit sad because we left. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Anna Maria's apartment in Fiskardo. The apartment is clean and beautifully decorated. It is a very calming environment. This is the second time we have stayed here and would certainly come back again. It is simple but elegant and in a fantastic location for exploring Fiskardo. We met Anna Maria (who is lovely!) There are loads of cats in the square ❤️

Kate welcomed me from check in, i came by myself. Her and her family took me to a local taverna that had just opened for the summer and we had a lovely time! The property was absolutely stunning, very close to the beach. I rented a bike in lefkada and the cycle ride took about 20 minutes and was beautiful, kate gave me a lift into town to go and get it. Cant express how much of a good time I had! An unforgettable experience and I hope I can return.

What a stay we had!! It's been two weeks since we returned back, but I keep thinking of this place everyday and want to come back. I think we've never been treated so well and the owners did their best to welcome us. Once we arrived and were introduced to the apartment, we realised that this was exactly the apartment we were looking for. For a family of three people, we had everything needed for a week stay. The fridge was filled with a variety of local treats including beer. On the next day, the owner brought us a bag of pastries which was so kind and suggested he could with placing a reservation in the nearby restaurant - Pavlos taverna. It is a known place in Lefkada for its fantastic meat dishes and its always packed in the evenings. We celebrated my wife's birthday in there and without a doubt I could tell it was one of the best meals we ever had in a long time.I can overall highly recommend this place! Special thanks to the owners - wish you a good health and keep up what you do!

This charming 100-year-old stone house is a true gem nestled in the tranquil slopes of Sfakiotes village on Lefkada Island. The peaceful surroundings, away from the busy tourist spots, make it perfect for relaxation, yet it’s conveniently close to the island's beautiful beaches and villages. We had a fantastic week in this cosy little house right by the shore, great for swimming and sitting on the veranda watching the boats, very peaceful! Great location ! You can find all that you need in nearby Lefkada town.

Absolutely indescribably beautiful accommodation. The location is amazing - you probably don't need to write anything else when you see the photos. And the house is very lovingly furnished with a beautiful terrace and a great garden. The equipment is sensational. Everything you need and much more was available in the kitchen. I was also very happy about the many extras, such as Drinks in the fridge, jam and honey, coffee and much more. Really charming hosts. Best AirBnB experience (thanks to amenities and hospitality) I had. Thank you very much!!!!!

Outstanding villa, view, service and island; we will definitely be back! Everything about our stay at the villa was about ease, luxury, comfort and feeling looked after by Eleni and her lovely father, Pano. Nothing was too much trouble. We explored all around the island by car, foot and boat, so many beautiful places to visit. Strongly recommend an evening at Fly Me bar, dinner in Sivota and a trip to Nidri and Lefkada town. Beautiful island .

An absolutely magnificent airbnb. Perfect for our family of 4. Beautiful rooms. Lots of space. Great garden and veranda. A fantastic family who welcomed us and gave us brilliant advice on local spots and taxis. Great location with lovely cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk and a nice stroll down to the harbour and beach. Cannot recommend highly enough

We were very happy with everything. Elena actively supported us in activities and was very eager to make our stay as nice as possible. The accommodation was clean and everything was thought of. The kitchen is a bit small, but we already knew that before we arrived. The grill is a good alternative to the many Greek restaurants that offer delicious food.

We LOVE to stay here and be hosted by the best, Harris! We have come three years in a row and Harris feels like family! We have a magical time every summer here. :)

It was a very nice stay in the low season (mid-May). The terrace is the big asset, as it is right in the middle of the action and only a few meters from the beach.

The stay in the apartment was amaizing . It was very clean and cozy . The host very friendly and she replied every message that we send very quickly . We loved the apartment and if we go back to that city we are going to be back in that place. Thank you Katerina!
