Απέχει 9 χιλιόμετρα από την Σπάρτη και 1 χιλιόμετρο από την είσοδο του βυζαντινού κάστρου του Μυστρά. Διαθέτει ενιαίο χώρο καθιστικό και κουζίνα, με όλο τον εξοπλισμό για μαγείρεμα. Traditional three-storey tower house in Karytaina. Reconstructed with great care by the hosts with authentic wooden elements and traditional touches in the decoration. The house is in a very quiet area of the village overlooking the bridge of Alfios and the plateau of Megalopolis. It has 2 fireplaces, a spacious living room and high-ceilinged bedrooms. At the entrance there is a courtyard with shade from a large walnut tree and vines.

Traditional Stone Guesthouse

The house was built before 1940 and back then it used to be the house of the teacher of the village. The basement was the storage room for the resin. Only in 1975 me grandpa, Dimitris, was able to buy the house and the basement too, in order to use the entire building as a storage room. Then, in 2019, my family decided to transform the upstairs as an Airbnb room and the basement as a storage room for the wine and the oil.

Our small maisonette is located at the beginning of the village after the church of Agios Nikolaos. It is a space made mostly of wood, which makes it warm in winter and cool in summer. Downstairs is the kitchen where you can prepare your coffee and tea (provided free of charge by the accommodation). Upstairs are the two rooms, comfortable to accommodate a family of four.
