Casa Aguacatal is a fantastic place to stay! The beautiful views and cozy atmosphere made for a peaceful and refreshing escape, filled with deep serenity and quiet joy. The stunning scenery, the jacuzzi, the temazcal, and the pool with a view of the volcanoes and the lake were all unique, creating precisely the vibe we were looking for. I must mention the amazing guardian, who was very kind throughout our stay. Thank you, Carolina! Your place is incredible, and we’ll be back.

Our stay was perfect! The cabin is beautiful and with such beautiful character! The cabin was immaculate and Leah has certainly paid attention to detail! Leah was an amazing host and very responsive when we needed her ! Can’t wait to come back and stay again !!

A very quiet place to rest and has an easy exit to the lake, we were very comfortable, and Jonathan is very accessible always.

I stayed at Julio's place with my husband and 2 kids. It was a blast! We really enjoyed it! Most beautiful view in that area around the lake ! Julio is very responsible,helpful and friendly as all his stuff! I Would recommend it to all!

Richard was an amazing host very kind and understanding when we needed him to pick us up at the dock he was already ready and quick to come pick us up his breakfast was so delicious and the views where unforgettable we truly felt isolated and at home in his beautiful cabin in the woods it was a nice hike up I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who's looking to be isolated in peaceful tranquility i will definitely be returning sooner than later

I really liked that the cabin was also 5 minutes away from San Pedro, as we were able to visit both villages and walk without problem. There is always Tuc Tuc available and we didn't have any bad experiences. We take public boats to go to Santiago and Pana, everything went very well.

The accommodation was very good, it seems a little small but it's fine. The host is friendly and quick to respond. For the area, it would be good to bring mosquito repellent. The beds are comfortable and spacious, it meets everything described. Thank you for letting us stay.

The view was breathtaking, and the cabin was warm and inviting. Staying at Cerro de Oro was a truly special experience. I was captivated by the constant melodies of the birds and the stunning rocks that decorated the surroundings. It's such a wonderful place to unwind and connect with nature. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Wow! Casa Awanima was such an incredible stay. The landscaping was so thoughtful and beautiful. We loved being surrounded by fruit trees and herbs and watching the butterflies. Perfect place to relax and recharge. We also really enjoyed just hanging around the property coworking. The temezcal and fresh mountain water pool were great and it was so special to connect with Cheyo’s culture during the temezcal ceremony. I really enjoyed Antonio’s yoga and qigong classes. Meals on property were great and so was using the kitchen to cook ourselves and eat outside. 10/10!!!

Sarah’s place is exactly as pictured- situated in a serene area overlooking Lake Atitlán with all the amenities you could need whether you want to stay or travel around the lake. The property itself is gorgeous and well taken care of. I particularly loved the multiple balconies and is where we spent most of our time. When we decided to visit other towns on the lake we had no problems using the private dock to and from our destination. Sarah, Byron, and Pascual were extremely helpful, quick to respond, and took care of us our entire stay. Absolutely loved the place and would be back!

Sleep with crickets and wake up with roosters, all of it with your own personal lake view from the porch. Diego and his mother are great people and have set up this cute cabin which is within walking distance from downtown San Juan and is a perfect place to disconnect from modern life BS. Special props for the super clean towels and bed linens and plenty of blankets available. Wish I booked for longer!

If you are looking for a few quiet days of rest, surrounded by nature, waking up to the sound of birds and spectacular views of the lake and volcano, this is really the ideal place Everything was absolutely clean, comfortable bed and pillows, perfectly equipped and the host was always attentive to help us It can only be reached by boat and climbing some steps, so it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility But if this is not inconvenient for you, it will be part of the adventure and it will definitely be worth it. Beautiful place

Great place, alittle bit out of the way so it’s a perfect quiet spot, you can swim right out front and it’s a stone throw away to restaurants and shops

We are a family of 4 (1 currently living in Guatemala) and we absolutely loved this home. Note that it is a family home passed down through generations and is a bit rustic, and requires visitors to be mindful. Some features such as the windows need to be treated with care. The grounds are extraordinary and walkable. The guardian Juan José was available to help if we needed anything including shopping for our BBQ. He lit an outdoor fire and we relaxed under the stars. We made use of paddle boards and kyack. I can't say enough about how helpful Joaquin was before during and after our stay. Thank you thank you
