Family-friendly holiday rentals in Paradise

Perfect location for family to stay while they were in town. Close to everything and the walk to 1 mile is an actual treat. Highly recommend

This is a very well maintained house and grounds. It is a wonderful property to enjoy complete with a grand swimming pool, tennis court and basketball and everything needed to enjoy those sports. A beautiful view is afforded out every window and slider with all the conveniences and a hostess who cares and aims to please. We felt very fortunate to be here. People that visited said, "What a find!" and we certainly agreed!

We had a wonderful stay. The pool and hot tub were amazing. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pots and pans were a really nice brand.

We had a really wonderful day at Stephanie's home in Chico. We spent a lot of time in the Paradise/Chico area and this house was definitely one of our favorites. The beds were so comfortable and the house was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need! Stephanie was a wonderful host - super communicative and very kind when we needed to make last-minute changes to our trip. Thank you so much for everything. We will definitely be back :)

thia house is a standout on the street. very cute and well cared for. it was a lovely stay and the house had everything I needed. the neighborhood is not right downtown but easily accessible by car to lots of different things to do and see and restaurants. door dash was easy here.

Our stay at Cottage in the Avenues- Chico was an exceptional visit! Sheryl was a great host. She greeted us during check-in and walked us through the house providing detailed instructions. The house was a perfect solution to our Chico graduation weekend. Very convenient to everything connected with Chico State (restaurants, bars, campus, groceries, etc.). The property is in a cozy, quiet neighborhood surrounded by several trees. Sheryl provided a great spread of fruits, muffins, and snacks upon our arrival. She even allowed our family to invite other graduates and family for an afternoon brunch for a few hours. That was just the perfect venue and prelude for our evening graduation. I would highly recommend this property when visiting Chico for college families or those just passing through town. Well done Sheryl!

Our family had such an amazing time here! The kids fished the pond all weekend. Everyone caught a fish. They had fun playing on the play structure. It was quiet and beautiful. Such a peaceful place to relax and get away. Host was very responsive and clear with instructions. Very accommodating with flexible check in and check out times. I would definitely stay again. Overall we had a GREAT trip and this home provided our family of 11 such a great atmosphere to be together.

This was our 3rd stay at this property. It works very well for our family to get together, cook, eat, play bocce, and walk. Mardie's team was responsive, flexible, and helpful. The house offers many amenities, and the property is beautiful.

Great place to stay while our family was in town for a wedding. Stairs up to the bedroom or a little steep, but that was clear on the listing. Very easy to communicate with. Thanks! We would love to stay here again if we need to come to Chico.

Charming, cozy and clean place to rest your head. Clean and super soft bedding and I slept beautifully on one of the most comfortable airbnb beds I’ve had. Cute decor - I absolutely love the above bed wall decor piece. Room stayed cool, nice perfect size patio with plenty of sitting room. Felt safe and very private. Showers are important to me and theirs was CLEAN and the water pressure, divine. Nicely stocked with coffee (decaf too!), and teas. The cleanliness did it for me. Thank you Sarah and Kirk.

My son had to complete one additional semester at Chico State and needed a safe and convenient space to stay for a few months! He stayed in the bottom unit of this air b n b and it could not have been more perfect for him! The space had everything he needed for a seamless stay! The house is so lovely and charming and sits on a quiet and beautiful tree lined street just a few blocks from Chico State. Jill was an amazing host! She was caring, kind, and extremely accommodating. I can’t say enough about how perfect the experience was from start to finish!

My husband and I had such a lovely stay! Helen had everything all perfect, and ready to go when we came! Her place was so cozy, and made us feel right at home! We enjoyed the surrounding wildlife and the beautiful landscape. We cannot wait to come back!

We stayed at the house while competing in a 4wd truck pull at the fairgrounds. It was close by and had plenty of room for our family and friends to sleep. My husband and I actually stayed in the back guest space where we had our own private place, very nice, it was perfect. Parking a bit tight so we Uber’d to and from the track. That was convenient too.

What a wonderful Airbnb! We were in town for our daughter’s graduation and the place could not have been more perfect for our family. We had a mixture of grandparents and younger tweens who all felt right at home. The backyard and pool were the main attraction, as we spent most of our time outside. The owners just renovated the pool area so we were very lucky. We played shuffleboard inside, horse shoes and used the jacuzzi as well. We hosted a bbq for the grad party and the bbq worked great for a large group. No issues at all. There is tons of parking which was appreciated as well. We wish we had another kid going to Chico state just so we could stay here again! Thank you Sara Rose for answering all of our questions and being such a great host.

We had a very relaxing perfect stay at this house. The pool is fantastic, It’s surrounded with grassy areas lots of shade. The pictures do not do it justice. I would absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Chico.

In town for a Chico graduation and stayed at this property. Beautiful house and yard, exactly what we expected and then some! The host was very nice and responsive to my question even though it was my own user error in typing the password to the WiFi. Clean, beautifully decorated, everything we needed for a getaway, would definitely recommend this place!!

This was the perfect getaway that I needed and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for privacy and a safe, quiet place. The bed was super comfortable and the recliners were so appreciated because of some health issues I was having.

Such an amazing stay at Gary and Kay’s place! Great location. The pool is 10/10 and the size of the place is perfect. Feels like an oasis :) we will be back.
