Francesco is a very nice host. We used Google Translation to communicate because we didn't speak Italian. The accommodation is clean. The furniture (apart from the fridge, washing machine and microwave which are new) is dated but functional and that's all we needed. Although noisy, the portable air conditioner saved our nights. Indeed we are not used to sleeping under such temperatures. A pair of earplugs and it's all set. The bathroom is refurbished, it's appreciated. The garden is amazing, passion fruit, lemons, oranges... a real joy. Travel can be done on foot for the beach or restaurants. These 2 days off in our road-trip were at their best. Grazie Francesco!

We had a lovely stay at Casa Fortuna. It’s Right in the old city of Pizzo and close to the piazza and the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped and we didn’t miss anything! Paola was a perfect host and very welcoming and forthcoming!

If you want to have a quiet vacation, this is the place to be. The surrounding area is very quiet and the beach right in front of the house is also not very busy. The beach bar is also great. The accommodation was very clean and all utensils, as well as basic spices, were also provided for cooking. Giuseppina was very friendly, always responded very quickly and was very helpful. We will definitely recommend this place and hopefully come back soon.

Adriano's apartment is already overwhelmed by its location: views of the isola madre from the bedroom, beautiful terrace overlooking the end of the two beaches, beautiful sunsets...Sometimes we had to tear ourselves away to go to the town or to the beach. In the apartment we had everything we needed. Adriano was super nice: since our train was delayed, he picked us up directly at the station and carried me down the heavy suitcase to the apartment. Otherwise, I received an immediate response if I had any questions and he booked the taxi for us. We highly recommend the apartment and Adriano's kindness!

We loved our stop in this village and this authentic house. Our host's father-in-law guided us on foot through the alleys to discover the peculiarities and history of this place. It was really interesting and caring. The house has a very large terrace offering an exceptional view of the Ionian Sea. It's a pleasure to have breakfast there. Pharmacy, doctor, grocery store, restaurants, bars, local services are present. Everything to have a good time with a host, Francesco very responsive to answer your requests. Recommended!

Wonderful location - private, serene, and gorgeous. Philip and Antonia were lovely hosts, they took care to provide lots of recommendations and explain the house. The house itself is beautiful and had all the necessities for us to stay in and cook for the week, especially using the sweet local red onions! The view is incredible and the private beach was our daily exercise - we loved it! We'll be back!

A very special place with a very special host We stayed at Isabella and Giovanni's for 2 weeks in July. After the long and winding drive from the coast to the converted yard, you'll be rewarded with great panoramic views and a cool mountain climate. (No sweating while sleeping) Isabella is a very friendly, attentive and at the same time reserved host who fulfills every wish with joy. Everything is new spacious and very clean. Huge refrigerator with freezer, gas stove, mosquito net in the bedroom, large shower and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast is great, rich, and delicious with homemade cake. On the first drive, you still think you would have gotten lost and the sand slope does not want to end, but quickly you get used to it and appreciate the solitude and relaxing tranquility. If you don't like lively hotels, this is the place. Car or motorbike is a must. We would vacation here again at any time.

We stayed at a few places in Italy this summer, coming from Rome to Napoli and finally Fabio's place in the South. I have to say this was my favourite stay. The place is very private, easy to access, close to other local beaches if you have a car. Fabio's dad was so welcoming, made us feel right at home. The house has all the amenities needed and is clean and easy to maintain. This is a fantastic place if you have children. Hopefully we will be back 🙂

We had a peaceful and enjoyable family time at this place. The accommodation is exactly as described and has hosted us very comfortably (4 people). The beautiful terrace with sea views and the private beach in the immediate vicinity guarantee to make the most of a privileged geographical location and one of the most beautiful coastline in all of Calabria. Lucia was a perfect and considerate host: responsive, cordial, accommodating and providing advice to ensure a successful stay. It was a very nice way to close our summer vacation and an experience that we will be delighted to repeat in the future.

Overall this place was exactly as advertised. Beautiful views and and amazing outdoor area that we took full advantage of, including the relaxing outdoor shower. Private parking and a quick drive to anywhere you needed to get to. I would highly recommend staying here 10/10

This was an exceptional stay in Calabria for me and my family. The villa is exactly as it seems. It is likely the nicest AirBNB that one will ever find in Calabria. The staff is exceptionally helpful. Rino & Caterina were available 24/7 to help us, we had daily cleaning service, and Gianni was our driver at a moment's notice anywhere we wanted to go, from Soverato to Tropea. We had a birthday party for 50 of our extended cousins and it worked out perfectly. The extra costs we paid (use of the van, daily cleaning, driving, and pool heating) were extremely fair and reasonable. Biggest tips -- have the pool heated even in June, and have the ladies come for daily cleaning - truly made it feel like a 5 star resort. Davide deserves tremendous credit for building such a special place in such a beautiful place in Calabria.

Great place to stay, security was top notch in a gated community , we felt at ease for the children to play. We really enjoyed the pool especially on the days the ocean was too wavy to swim in. Overall the villa is a great size , well maintained and much more modern than the other villas that were for rent. Antonio is by far respected by my family and I, he was very communicative & suggested good restaurants to munch at . He maintained the property during our stay and cleaned the pool multiple times ! We will be back again

From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like family. Their warmth and genuine care created an atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. We can't wait to come back!

Since we arrived at the time we left, Alessandro was an absolutely fantastic host. Upon our arrival, he personally welcomed us, helping us with luggage and giving us a tour of his beautiful apartment. He also gave us great tips for breakfast and nearby beaches to visit. During our stay, Alessandro was readily available to answer all our questions whenever we sent him a message. The apartment is a short walk from wonderful beaches, has an incredible view of the sea and a large terrace that was perfect for watching the sunset or having our coffee in the morning. Looking forward to booking this beautiful apartment again!

Great location with a breathtaking view from the terrace. The house is beautiful and decorated in a tasteful local style. Lucilla was very friendly, easy to communicate with, and quick to respond. We had a very pleasant stay.

Really nice spot. Simple, clean and right at the (almost private) beach. Fresh agricultural produce by roadside farmers 4 minutes by car. Roger is usually closeby and always approachable for questions and help.

Maria was such an amazing host. She was always quick to answer any questions about and also gave us many recommendations for beaches and restaurants. The apartment was AMAZING! The back area has a beautiful view of the sea and sunset at night and the private stairs were very convenient t to get beaches. The location was great as it was in a quiet area, yet a short walk to the main area with restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent apartment for two people with everything you need for your stay, close to the wonderful Riaci beach. Domenico has been an excellent host.

The location of the apartment was wonderfully centrally located - right in the heart of Pizzo. We were in town over the Easter holidays and were thus able to follow the processions - even from the balcony of the apartment. Pizzo is a very nice place with great Italian flair and likeable inhabitants. The beach is also beautiful. The view of the sea is magnificent and everything was available. The kitchen is a separate space which is very practical. Once we had a problem with the window, Stefania was there right away. As compensation, she left us delicious pasticcini. She responded to our questions right away and was very helpful to us. At the beginning, she reserved a parking space for us. Thank you for the wonderful time in Pizzo.

Lovely flat. 3 air conditioning units, so even during very hot days the place is comfortable. Very clean too. The town is very small, but with the car it is a very strategic location to reach the best beaches in max 20 minutes (Michelino, Roccette, Il Tono, Grotticelle). Tropea is at 20 min max by car, where you can spend wonderful summer evenings. The host Vittoria has been extremely responsive and helpful!
