Andrew’s place was a gem to find. Beautiful location with an ocean view, the house was perfect for us as two couples traveling together. Private and quiet, located close to downtown Parksville, we were very comfortable there and hope to be able to stay again! Andrew was a very pleasant and proactive host, and we have zero complaints.

The place far exceeded our expectations. It was equipped with EVERYTHING we would have needed to not go anywhere the whole time. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking necessities, the kind beds in every room with vaulted ceilings made us feel like the boujee girls we want to be. The views were breathtaking and being able to have all of our meals outdoors with heat and covering made it so memorable. The house came with cars and outdoor games too to use on the nice open yard. It really felt like the place was ours. The icing on the cake was the chairs, wood and starters to make our own little beach fire right below the house and roast marshmallows while watching the sunset. Couldn’t recommend this stay enough! Definitely coming back!

Haining’s beautiful home is surrounded by nature, cute little towns, and the ocean just minutes away. Although we only stayed for one night, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, welcoming, and even had some board games which we enjoyed. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I recently stayed at Ashley's place, and it was an exceptional experience! The property was exactly as described (and even better in person). It was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, especially the view was amazing. I loved the closed huge backyard too because of my dog. Ashley was incredibly welcoming and providing clear communications. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We definitely gonna stay at this place again. This time Summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Very family friendly - we used the pack'n'play and highchair, as well as the beach toys provided! There were many "kids" cups and plates which made meal time a breeze. The fully enclosed deck was also nice for the kids to play on. There were a couple things that would be nice for a handyman to come work on (tightening up toilet seats/towel rods, etc.) but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

Every detail — from the cozy linens to the thoughtfully stocked kitchen — made it clear they truly care about their guests’ experience. This place is a gem. We left feeling rested, refreshed, and already dreaming about our return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape by the sea.

The 2 bedroom condo was accurately described and matched the description in the listings. It was well furnished and sufficiently stocked with the basics to make meals at home. About 30 minutes from Nanaimo and 15 minutes to Parksville, it is in a fairly central location to explore the Island. The check-in process was stress-free and extremely straightforward: enter lobby, enter your suite. For those booking, just choose your suite carefully. The water view faces the marina, and the garden view gets you a parking lot view. We saved $200 by choosing the parking lot view but that afforded us easy access to our car from our walk out garden area... for those with families, we appreciated the easy access to the car and the money savings over the better views. What's not really mentioned is how spacious the suite is and how vaulted the ceilings are, like 12 or 15'+. This is easily the best Airbnb condo suite that we've booked. A+++ excellent suite and great value!

Wonderful Stay with an Exceptional Host I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this Airbnb! From start to finish, the host was incredibly communicative and responsive, providing clear and detailed instructions that made check-in and check-out a breeze. The space itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean, uncluttered, and beautifully maintained. The bathroom was spick and span, which made the stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better, situated centrally with easy access to all the major shopping centres and amenities. It was perfect for exploring the area and grabbing anything we needed without hassle. Overall, a truly wonderful stay with a thoughtful host who clearly cares about their guests’ experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming place to stay!

Two words gorgeous views!!! Looked forward to having my cup of coffee on Kelley & Kent’s patio every morning. A very peaceful location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ganges, but still less than five minute trip into town. Both Kelley & Kent were very welcoming and accommodating to our early check in. Their air bnb had all the amenities you could need to make you feel right at home. Beds were super comfy! I would HIGHLY recommend booking this accommodation, you won’t be disappointed! :) Enjoy!

The Wetlands Suite, Inn The Estuary - Spectacular, Phenomenal, Wow are words that cannot express the beauty of this property. An immersive experience with nature. The artistry of the landscaping is thoughtfully considered with each rock, plant, and tree placed with purpose to provide a magical and natural place for rest and to recharge. Harold's inspired restoration has created a place in nature that calms the mind. The interior of the Suite continues the Wow upon opening the front door. Exceptionally large windows to draw your gaze out to explore the vast beauty of the wetlands. Perfectly situated furniture to marvel the great outdoors. Additionally, a private patio area to be wrapped in nature with bird songs through the day and frog calls at night. Simply, relaxing. We are thankful for the generosity of Harold, Marianne & Angela to share this space with us, and with others. A true treasure to be enjoyed, to relax, to calm. We will definitely visit again and recommend.

We didn’t interact with Brian and Shauna but they reached out initially to let us know they were available, we just didn’t end up needing anything but it was nice of them to be in touch. The space is perfect for 2, spotlessly clean and well provisioned with all the basics. Very comfy bed, cozy deck with a beautiful view out over the water. Quiet neighborhood, the unit feels very private, and access to beaches, restaurants, hiking trails and more was super convenient. We had a great stay, no complaints at all.

Dale was an incredible host—went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The place was spotless and located in a peaceful, quiet area, which made for a truly relaxing stay. One of the most well stocked Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at! We so appreciated having extra little things available like containers to pack some food with us for lunch. The notes about the significance of each of the art pieces was also a very special touch that made the space feel so meaningful. The ocean view is beautiful and we had lots of fun using the scope to birdwatch and check out the wildlife in the water!

I had to cancel last minute. Andrea was more than accommodating for us We were so appreciative of that. The space is perfect for two people, as we’ve been there before! I recommend her sweet space for anyone who is looking for anyone looking a perfect little get away!

Beautiful apartment with a really nice unobstructed sea view. Everything just like in the photos, clean and lots of natural light. I really enjoyed the beautiful bathroom…very nicely done. The bed is huge and very comfy as well. The view from the rooms and balconies is exceptional and really lovely. The whole property is really nice and well maintained. Especially enjoyed the bbq areas and fireplaces in the common areas. Communication was very good and check in instructions easy and clear. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the sea and nature of Vancouver Island. You would definitely need a car there, as there is not so much to do in a walking distance. Closes town is approx. 5 - 10 min. Drive. Ferry in Nanaimo about 20-30 minutes. Very convenient!

Staying with Chelsea’s place was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and clean, and lots of activities to do. We are planning to go back next year. Highly recommended!

Isaac was so thoughtful, when I inquired about a pack n play he said he’d buy one for us! He’s invested in making this place great for families and it shows! The setting is wonderful, so close to the amazing beach and nestled in a beautiful woodsy spot. The place was great - very clean and had everything we could need. The beach toys and gear was the cherry on top!
