An apartment is available, which was converted from a larger building, renovated in 2010, and set in a 2,000-square-meter garden with pine forest and relaxation corners and which lends itself to the reconditioning of kite-surfing equipment. It is located about 10 minutes from the center of Marsala, about 10 minutes from the equipped beaches/lidos of the southern coast and 2.5 km from the Stagnone Reserve and from kite-surfing spots. The property is easily accessible from Trapani-Birgi airport and there is also the availability of transfers to and from Birgi airport (upon coordination). The property's surface area is about 50 square meters, consisting of a kitchen-living room, a functional kitchenette complete with dishes available to guests and a sofa bed; two bathrooms with shower for exclusive use, a bedroom with a double bed and a cot. In a wooden annex, there is the possibility of using the washing machine and another outdoor shower. The garden, with pine forest, olive and citrus trees, is shared with the owner, a dog and cats, but for guests there is a relaxing garden corner, under two centuries-old olive trees, with deck chairs, chairs and a table with the possibility of barbecuing. This property can accommodate up to 5 people. After coordination, two bicycles can be used and a means of transportation is needed for travel. We loved staying here and Silvio was so friendly and helpful. You can see the kite-surfing lagoon, but it’s a bit far to walk. The peace and tranquility of the apartment, as well as the roof terrace, more than made up for having to drive everywhere. While this is a quiet location, which may not feel like the Sicily you expect, it’s a great base for exploring places with the full Sicilian atmosphere (Trapani) and amazing views and historic streets (Erice) and the local area has a lovely chilled character of its own once you get to know it.

We had a fantastic stay at Silke’s place. Tranquil location with stunning views and a stunning sunrise if you’re an early riser! I agree with many other reviews, the villa is even better in person. Alexandra and Alex greeted us, were extremely friendly and hospitable and were very responsive and helpful. Couldn’t ask for more from a hosting perspective. You’ll need a car to get the most out of the experience. Some of the roads leading to the villa are unpaved (no problem) but a car that isn’t super low would be preferable. The pool was warm, there were multiple comfortable outdoor spaces which we found positively impacted our stay. The whole design of the villa is great. The villa was perfectly equipped and we couldn’t ask for anything more during our stay. Would highly recommend!
