We enjoyed a peaceful stay after long days on bikes. We were in town for the NC Coastal ride. After riding for 30+ miles each day we came back to a tranquil location. The home is immaculate. Every item one would ever need was provided. It was perfect to have a full size fridge for our supplies. Beth even left firewood in case we wanted to enjoy the fire pit. We were able to stretch and get in a yoga session on the dock. Yoga mats were provided. The home feels like a ship in that it is surrounded by water. The waves and fresh air made for incredible sleep each night. An osprey nest is outside the window. With the binoculars we were able to watch the progress of the nest and the amazing pair catch fish. The communication throughout the stay was spot on. The “billion dollar” view is remarkable, but the amenities and care from the homeowner make this is top notch vacation spot.

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful home in Edenton! The house was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to unwind. My family and I love this big old house. Enough space to have togetherness and yet enough space to have a room for quiet time. My adult children would like to make this our annual vacation spot, next time we're going to try booking during cooler months as well. We had a wonderful stay in this historic home. The home was spotless and welcoming. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the antique furniture and decor. The backyard was large, private and completely fenced in. The bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the brightness with open shades during the day yet had plenty of privacy at night. We spent most of our time in the fully stocked game room. The kitchen had more than everything needed for our stay. The bathrooms were completely stocked. I would highly recommend this stay to my friends and family. 5 Stars!!! Such a convenient location.
