Don't miss the secret trail to Red Mountain—just steps from the driveway—or explore countless scenic hikes in the area. On warmer days, cool off with a swim in the crystal-clear waters of nearby Silver Lake.

The North Fork Riverbend boasts the Huckleberry Hideaway! A tiny log cabin located along the Mt Baker National forest! Perched along the North Fork of the Nooksack River! Enjoy your cup of coffee or tea on the deck or do yoga while listening to the bald eagles! Swing in the hammock of the pavilion while enjoying the fire pit next to the river! We welcome you to 'le petit bonheur' (little happiness). Our studio suite offers complete privacy with its own entrance and outside sitting area looking out on our fenced backyard, with a ground level trampoline. We just added a king-size bed, your space includes a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, induction stovetop, etc and a lovely bathroom complete with bath/shower. If travelling with your dog, I request a one-time $30 pet fee for your stay. Linens washed with scent-free detergent

This sweet little 800 square foot cabin has all the charm you need for your mountain getaway. Our hot tub is the perfect place for a soak after a day of snowboarding, skiing, or hiking out on Mount Baker. Do some shopping at our local apothecary in town or grab some essentials from the little grocery only a few miles from the cabin! Enjoy some pizza and a brew from The North Fork Brewery on your way down to Bellingham to see the Puget Sound. Adventure in every direction!

The Tiny

Enjoy this beautiful setting situated between the charming city of Bellingham and the world class Mt. Baker Ski Area. You'll be staying in our brand new tiny house with views of the eagle sanctuary and within walking distance to the North Fork Eagle preserve, including trails to the Nooksack River. We are 37 miles to the ski area and 20 miles to downtown Bellingham. Perfect for skiing, bald eagle viewing, hiking, biking, dining, and of course, relaxing. Enjoy your stay!

We built this tiny house after a trip to Japan where we fell in love with the concept of “shinrin-yoku” (forest bathing or taking in the forest atmosphere). Even though this property is located within a small, private neighborhood, the forest and a rushing creek can be enjoyed from every area. Try your hand at tiny home living in the 196 square foot space. Or cheat a little and sit outside on the cute little porch or creekside deck.

In these rather adventurous times in our world, we invite you to watch the sun set early over the mountain and feel the cool breeze sweeping down its steep face. Go to sleep to the sound of a creek roaring in the distance, wake up to the sound of beautiful birds. Have a fire, play bocce, go for a hike through nearby teapot hill. Unwind in our space and let it all fall away. We welcome you to breath deeply and relax at our cabin.

Cozy dog friendly Tiny House located 20-25 minutes from downtown Bellingham, an hour from Mt. Baker Wilderness area and Ski Resort, and 15 minutes from the Sumas Canadian border crossing. It is the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring! We have farm-fresh eggs for purchase (availability varies). One egg $0.50 a dozen for $6.00
