Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Pend Oreille River

This was our second visit to this beautiful home, and won't be our last! So much space and room for our family to enjoy time together, and make memories! Don't pass up this amazing home if you enjoy peace and quiet, cleanliness, and amazing hosts!

Dirty Pete’s had everything I needed to simply relax by the river. Bathroom was only a few steps away and was spotless. Tish was very proactive and quick to respond. Highly recommend this to all the nature lovers out there. Already looking forward to my next trip.

This is a great stay for a couple that wants to be near the downtown/lake section of CDA but not stay in the resort. We enjoyed the seating outside, hot tub, clean and comfortable accommodations, and cutesy quaint neighborhood. We even saw the massive black, brown, and white bunnies and encountered a flock of wild turkeys while driving. Very convenient to Tubbs Hill trailhead and the big park and boardwalk. Ron was very responsive during our stay and gave clear directions- I appreciate renting from owners like him.

We loved this BnB. It's in a planned community think planned trails, amenities etc. Most of the other homes are rentals as well. It's quiet and clean. My toddlers loved the nature trail, beach, dock, beach toys and ample bike riding trails. The house encompasses everything about north idaho lake life that I love. The house is in great condition. It's well stocked and the appliances are all very nice. We hope to be back again.

We had a fabulous vacation in Nelson. Everything was as described. Even though it is a cozy space, we felt with 2 small children & lots of toys it was very spacious. Love the open main living area. Loved the location, the view was spectacular! 😊

Very nice place to stay. My wife and I planned a couple nights away without kids to relax and recharge. This is exactly the place we were looking for, we felt completely private. It was quiet and the place was well stocked with items you may need or may have forgotten. We spent the weekend going into town and seeing the water and eating at restaurants. At the location we played games, shot some hoops, and enjoyed a nice fire at night after using the hot tub. The only recommendation we have are it might be nice to provide a citronella candle, we typically will bring one camping with us but spaced it here. The mosquitos can be quite aggressive. The other thing is that GPS directions drove us up a neighbors driveway, we were able to figure it out but this is not something we were warned of. Again these are just recommendations and we would absolutely stay here again!

It was me, my husband, and our two dogs. It was a perfect place for us to stay. We didn’t bring kennels so the pups went everywhere with us. We went for a walk along the river and were able to picnic just off the trail where there are stairs leading into the water. Downtown was a bit difficult to get around in the morning because there was a bike race of sorts. We were able to walk from the house down to dinner (about 10min, maybe 15 or 20min walk to get to the thick of places to eat). We really enjoyed just staying at the house too though. Although it felt like there were lots of people walking by, the backyard was private and surrounded by big trees that gave great shade. We slept upstairs which did get a bit warm, but the AC units throughout the house helped keep it cool by the time we went to bed. I didn’t have to bring anything either - the kitchen had everything to cook, coffee, spices, wine key. There are also 2 pack and play and a high chair. We will absolutely be back!!

great value place for a night. quiet clean and comfortable

David’s place (the Regal Beagle) is awesome! We checked in at 9am and David was right there to welcome us and hand us the keys! There are some steep stairs to this apartment, but once we got up there, we were so impressed. The apartment is way bigger than we anticipated! The floor plan is very open, everything was very tidy and clean, and it had air conditioning which was blissful for staying in Spokane in June! My wife was also very appreciative of the “smoking balcony” provided out in the back of the apartment. We also got to meet David’s beautiful rescue dog, Ripley. What a sweet girl! An added bonus for us was that David is a musician, and as my wife and I are also musicians, we got to talk music during our interactions. As far as the rest of our stay went, the shower worked great, the toilet flushed, we had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely be staying at David’s place in the future, if it is available. Thank you, David!

Aaron was extremely nice, helpful, and responsive. The space is so cozy and homey it felt like I was visiting family and not at a sterile hotel. Aaron also provides everything you can think of. Extra blankets, dishes, silverware, cups, shampoo, q-tips, some water bottles, etc. He's thought of everything. He was very communicative and was quick to respond as well as check-in to make sure I was doing well and have everything I needed. Overall, staying her was a great experience. Highly recommend.

Would definitely stay again, i was worried about not having AC as i stay hot most of the time but its setup well and i was comfortable all weekend even when temps hit close to 90. I didnt meet Kristen but met her husband Brad and he's a good guy, i was happy to stay here

Such a great location—easy to come and go, and the house fits so naturally into its surroundings. It felt instantly comfortable, reminding us of a home we once lived in back in Spokane. Just what we were hoping for—perfect! The original wood floors, vintage window frames, and period-appropriate furniture all beautifully reflect the style and era of the home. Our host responded promptly when I asked about adjusting the water temperature, and even followed up later to make sure everything was just right. This is a charming older home—clean, well-kept, and full of character. We’d happily stay here again. Thank you!

We have stayed at Clint's place twice now and can highly recommend. It is cozy, has access to a garage space and is walkable to town while being only 25 minutes to the ski area. A go-to if you're visiting Sandpoint.

Very nice place, great views of the water and mountains! Would stay here again! They mention this but I didn't notice it - this is not really a 5 bedroom place. One of the bedrooms is INSIDE another one, so you can't really use the bunkbed room as it's own space. Still has lots of beds though. The knives and pans should be replaced, like many rentals they are not in good shape.

A wonderful location for our family reunion! Since the group was mostly adults, it was fantastic having such sleeping arrangment choices. 8 bedrooms meant that everyone had their own space. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with most having doors to the upper deck, complete with screen doors to allow wonderful air flow. Three full bathrooms meant no lineups for showers, etc. The kitchen is huge, and fully equiped. 2 fridge/freezers in the kitchen, an extra "beer" fridge on the deck, and the oven and two cooktops in the kitchen made it perfect for our huge "Christmas in July" turkey dinner. The dining room/living room area is tremendously spacious, and the pool table was a bonus. Jocelyn was an incredible hostess, showed us around when we first got there, and answered any questions immediately. Bonus, she is the BEST medical massage practitioner I have ever been treated by. I would highly recommend her location for anyone looking for a venue for a large group.

This place is amazing. The view alone is spectacular. But the inside is spectacular as well. Modern. Comfortable. Stylish. It is a beautiful property with a view to match. This is a place where you can truly get away from it all and be awed by the natural beauty all around you. Absolutely beautiful.

We had such a blast!! The unit was so Much more than we expected. Our weather was very bipolar So it was such a treat To have an indoor an outdoor option to hang out. The cookware ....the furnishings and the bedding ....Down to the towels where all luxurious We enjoyed our daily interactions with the owners and can't wait to come back someday.
