Cottage holiday rentals in Penetanguishene

This was probably the best Airbnb we have stayed at to date. Cannot say enough good things about the place! Modern, beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, attention to all the little details, quiet and peaceful, and the dock… that was our favorite part. We had 4 relaxing days on our baby moon here and are already talking about returning. Communication was so quick (within minutes), the hosts were accommodating and a pleasure to communicate with. Thank you for making our baby moon so memorable! We will be back!

We were 4 adults, 1 child and 1 toddler. Sarah's cottage is perfectly located - it faces the lake, which is huge, boats, life jackets, etc. are provided and the host is extremely clear in their communication. There was an unexpected issue which came up and which couldn't be rectified till after our booking ended, but I was made aware of it in advance of my trip and Sarah was very transparent in her communication, which I appreciate a lot. The cottage was just a 10 min drive from the main highway, and 15 min drive from the nearest convenience store, so it wasn't that bad. The lake was pristine with some fish in it too, and on days when it was not windy, the water was quite clear too. To top it all, the bright orange ball during sunset won our hearts. We had a great relaxing time and would recommend this to anyone looking for a perfect getaway, just about 2 hours away from GTA.

Great cozy cottage with a private lake entrance. Miles was a great host. Hot tub & sauna were very enjoyable and overall the place was great.

We had an excellent stay at Steve’s cottage. Comfortable, super clean and had so many fun things to do! We really appreciated the gift basket and wine! It was enjoyed. Ty!

My friends and I stayed here for a winter weekend away and it was just what we needed/wanted in a little cottage. Great location for those coming from the GTA and nice and close for those in Simcoe. Once we got there we felt right at home! The hosts had cleared the walking paths and back deck of any recent snow fall which made it nice and easy to get inside and enjoy the grounds. They went above and beyond by having the wood burning stove going for us when we checked in which made CARL that much more cozy and welcoming. Communication and instructions were very clear and detailed from start to finish which made the whole rental process easy and enjoyable. My friends and I look forward to coming back to CARL in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The space was exactly as described. Bryan was incredibly responsive, making check-in smooth and the stay hassle-free. The cottage is by the lake with perfect views from the patio. We especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, the wine bottle, and a well stocked kitchen. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Beautiful home! We absolutely loved the living area. It felt cozy with all the natural light coming in through the ceiling windows. The dining area was great on a snowy day. We played the games and enjoyed the views of the snow-covered pine trees! Loved the location and the house. Would recommend!

Beautiful, clean cottage on a beautiful lake! Loved the sauna and the deck down by the dock. Was the perfect size for the 6 of us. Kitchen was great, beds were super comfortable. Would come back for sure.

This cottage is perfection. Liane & James are just SO lovely. If you're reading this, don't look any further. Just book it. We couldn't have had a better week at Follie's Cove. The cottage was the perfect mix of modern and rustic. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. We felt at home instantly. The sunroom was the perfect chill spot for us and our two big dogs to get out of the sun/rain without feeling cooped up indoors. The beach was heaven for our dogs, and on a quiet end of the lake, so we saw few other people all week. The quintessential Muskoka experience! Liane and James were *beyond* wonderful. They set us up with a ton of breakfast food and desserts. Even offered to return the day after check-in to drop off more coffee. It truly felt like renting from friends. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat from them and puttering around the lake. Wish I had more space to gush about the space and their incredible hospitality. We would book again in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for our group of 10 adults. The lakeside view was beautiful, and the large deck was a great spot to relax and enjoy the sunset. This place is perfect for anyone who enjoys fishing or boating. We’d love to come back when the weather is warmer! Bijan was a great host—very responsive, kind, and easy to communicate with. Absolutely thrilled to stay at Sandra’s place. It was the relaxing destination we had hoped for. This property delivered as promised. Spectacular scenery, pristine accommodations and a very hospitable host. We especially enjoyed the cozy nights with the fire place on while playing a few rounds of pool. We highly recommend Sandra’s for the full tranquil experience.

Had a great time at Justin’s well equipped, spacious and extremely fun cottage. The hockey, badminton, billiard and basketball games were so well received and enjoyed by the kids!

What a beautiful waterfront cottage! Navid has been very responsive and accommodating of every requests and the cottage was very clean and organized. The view was amazing and had everything you need!

This is a gem find. It was so comfortable and situated 3 minute walk from a beautiful beach. The kitchen was very well equipped the fire pit, the BBQ the outdoor sitting areas were awesome. The beds were comfortable and we slept so well. There is a huge TV with so many channels and content to watch. So easy to settle into a movie after dinner. Very comfortable sitting area. We were 3 adults and we all had space to have some downtime and also to enjoy our company. We would swim and go for 5 km beach walks and drive to very cute small towns and discover the tasty bakeries and cool stores. Everyone we met was so lovely and very relaxed. We had a wonderful time and recommend this pace to everyone. Peaceful, fully equipped, comfortable and 3 minutes from a beautiful beach! What can be better.
