Everything is as described in the listing. It is comfortable and a good value. Host always responded quickly and was friendly. I would stay here again if I am in the area.

Shell’s lodge is the perfect spot to unwind after a lovely day at Pine Creek Gorge. Can’t wait to come back and visit her other options. She’s so sweet and a lovely, thoughtful hostess.

We rented the home for PSU graduation. Lots of room for three generations of family to celebrate. Love the large kitchen and the bar area definitely came in handy. Crockpots were available and appreciated. The backyard is wonderful. We enjoyed sitting outside, too wet to use firepit but it is a nice area. Mike gave great advice on where to get ice etc. and we were set for the weekend!

Mary Ann and her husband Jerry were great hosts. We loved having the dog “Peaches” around to greet us. We loved walking around the pond and just having a peaceful time. Definitely would book again. Thanks again for the great time.

Ragu was an amazing host that allows you to feel right at home. Very relaxing getaway with a private secluded sauna and jacuzzi under beautiful landscapes of the sky.

The furniture is unique ( hand made). beautiful. The king size bed was amazing, very comfortable and new mattress. It was very relaxing to stay at Kathleen's place. Deffently will book at the Lodge again. Also, the people sharing the others room very friendly and felt Conformable.

What can I say.? I think I speak for both Alice my girlfriend and I when I say this was one of the most pleasant stays I’ve ever had, and the most pleasant stay in a shared space ever. Ragu is amazing, he’s warm, friendly, caring. He went more than above and beyond on a very icy and snowy weekend to make sure we got to the place safely, he even let us borrow his 4WD to get groceries as our little Hyundai was struggling in the snow. The hot tub and sauna are perfect and his kitchen is well stocked. My only regret is not using the music equipment and missing out on going to Chet’s Place due to inclement weather. I want to go back here asap with an even bigger group. If you are coming to this area, stay here.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Kathleen was an amazing host between her friendly nature, great recommendations, and keeping the place spotless. I highly recommend staying here if you want to visit the state park. The area that surrounds the lodge is peaceful and quiet, so we felt very at home and even with other guests staying still felt we had the place to ourselves. We definitely hope to be back!

Absolutely amazing! We felt right at home from the first second we walked inside! There was plenty to do in the area and Kathleen was even nice enough to give us eggs bacon and bagels for breakfast since the cafe was closed at the time of our stay.

Ragu is a friendly and responsive host. If you are okay with a dorm style stay with a communal bathroom, this is a great place at a great value!

Sara is great and helpful! Location is a motel listed on airbnb but offers more flexible options (one night stay vs requiring 2 night stay through other websites) and had just what we needed. Peaceful, quiet, comfortable!

This place is a gem! Was easy to find it and access the apartment. We were there in February and had the place almost all to ourselves. Our unit had updated furnishings and floors, nice kitchen, lots of storage space. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever been in...and the views! We had some plumbing issues, and Bill was helpful and very prompt in responding. He offered us other rooms immediately so that he could remedy the problem. We are ready to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the game room, fire pit, and balconies.

Enjoyed our weekend stay at Joe and Ashley’s place! Clear instructions, responsive communication, easy check in, clean and comfortable space. We appreciated the dog friendly details and amenities. Bed was comfortable. Easy drive to downtown Jim Thorpe.

Bill was incredibly responsive and welcoming, offering clear instructions and great local recommendations. The view made the stay feel extra special.

Great spot for those looking to spend time in north central PA during fall foliage! We were just a short drive away from the restaurants and shops in Wellsboro and state parks and forests. Bill's check in/out instructions were easy to follow. The property is beautiful and peaceful, even with other guests in/out during the weekend. Would definitely recommend this spot to others looking to visit the area.

We stayed 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend in the Tamarind Room with our dog. The room was exactly as described and very peaceful. Nice pool table and shuffleboard table on the lower level. William recommended some local restaurants such as the Wellsboro House and Becks Bistro. We were not disappointed! Short drive to the PA Grand Canyon and the Rail Trail. Highly recommend!

This was a spontaneous trip for me and my family. William responded quickly! We were able to thoroughly enjoy the PA Grand Canyon, Cherry Springs Park and Ricketts Glen all in 24 hours!!! Stony Fork exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed all of the amenities, especially star gazing by the fire pit!!!
